Man unironically, the last 2 scuffed intros were so delightful. You have this carefree thing about you jack, these intros matched smoothly with your style. Please keep up the spontaneous starts, this is REALLY gold.
Zen's movement and car control is just something else, it's like he's not using a controller but his own hands to grab the car
I love this description
Yes. The car is an extension of his own body, just like a master guitar player
Zen impressed me so much, having that much pressure behind him at his very first RLCS event, and he actually performed very very well and won! But I also want to shout-out Atow, his offense was insane this regional, the goals he scored were mind blowing
Agreed Atow impressed me tremendously as well. His performance at the regional definitely deserves to be mentioned.
People are out of their minds downplaying Zen. He's clearly another level and its so easy to see just by watching a few minutes.
Just that last play that Jack showed, shows how insanely good he is. It is not just mechs.
Both of you are pp gobblers.
People often fail to appreciate the aspects of intelligence in others when they are led by ego or are not so intelligent of their own accord. Might be harsh but it is so common.
It drives me nuts when people say Vatira is miles better than zen. It’s obviously not true.
@@Edgyhimself not miles, but vatira is beetter than zen atm
Those who expect him to hit triple flip reset musty double tap every game have surface level understanding of the game. He has shown plenty of that so called 'mechanical' skillset in his 1v1 play, what's truly impressive about him is knowing the difference between playing for the team and playing for the clips. The real mechanics are the subtle ones Jack mentioned like recovery, 0 boost play, speed generation, and just overall game sense which players like him and Vatira demonstrates in spades.
I'm gold and hit triple reset musty double taps every game, Zen sucks

I wanna grab my car with my hands
@@frritz77You too? I knew I wasn't the only one 😭
I love videos of players going in depth about how good certain players are and what separates them from the rest of the world and this one was amazing keep up the good videos bro! Zen is just different he's amazing
You were one of the first talk about Zen and you were absolutely right about him all along
The thing about having a mechanical beast as 3rd man is not just solid defense, but also that the lastman is uniquely able to pick his moment for when he comitts for an aerial attack, so it makes sense that the one person on the team who's most likely to succeed, should also be given the best chances to score. Furthermore, I've noticed that "the better player" on a team will risk getting let down by his mates if he's upfield when the enemy is counter attacking, or even just creating a golden opportunity to score but getting let down by slumpy mates. Like some says "It's easier to carry from below"
Last man is by definition the player with the most space available, it's great to have a mechanical 3rd who can make huge solo plays, because then you can force plays and open space for him.
@@felixmerz6229 Exactly, and I think if you have a player excel at positioning and strategy, they should definetly be second man / midfield, because 2nd man get a lot of opportunities to take the result of 1stman's work to gain possession and setup the teamplays
Saving boost that you end up not using before stocking up again is the same concept as over-healing in an RPG. You want to use ALL of your boost before restocking, that's efficient play.
Please do more of these. So insightful
Man unironically, the last 2 scuffed intros were so delightful. You have this carefree thing about you jack, these intros matched smoothly with your style. Please keep up the spontaneous starts, this is REALLY gold.
Now, after regional 2 it's pretty clear that Zen has elevated the entire Vitality roster. They have immaculate rotations and teamplay. Any one of them can carry the team or solo play when needed but that's not how they're choosing to play
Glad to see RUclips is taking off for you bro. You deserve it 🙏
Your the man appjack love watching your vids... learn alot
I love that the start was kept in
In my opinion Zen was the best player in the tournament during the spring open. But I definitely agree with Jack that we need to see more from him before we can say he is the best player in the world. I definitely hope he will continue this trend, it is amazing to see a player be so mechanical and selfless at the same time.
Love your game play so smooth.❤🎉
Also love the videos jack keep it up
Cool vid appjack
bro is doing things i would never even think to do. like bro flipping onto the wall to cut the ball the other way? nuts.
I dont even care if its raw and unedited, give us daily videos plz jack 💕
Great video
Inspirational playstyle honestly
Nice video!
He won his first regional without even playing close to his potential, next major will be the real test. Biggest thing I've been impressed by is his confidence in himself, he's up for balls earlier than I see anyone else, no hesitation
Nice editing
Watching Zen play reserved and careful convinced me he's the real deal. He's not playing to make the big play, or be that guy, he is playing to win and that's the right mentality.
Spent way to long looking for that adidas shirt jack is wearing lol
“It’s like, when you used to play MonkeyM00n back in RLCS X”
Ah yes, totally relatable.
I play rocket league casually currently in c3. I don’t watch any esports of rocket league. But when I watch zen I don’t see him being close to anyone. The stuff he does I don’t see the pros doing it anywhere near with that consistency.
It was really obvious he wouldn't play first man attacking since they have Alpha. I expected Radosin to be more of the solid rock in defense but Zen with his decision making makes absolute sense in defense.
Glad you made a comparison to Vatira.
Vatira was the defensive GOAT at moist and is now the overall GOAT.
Zens defense was just massively underated.
I would love to see Vatira replace Radosin. This team would be perfect.
It’s crazy because you reacted to his clips a while ago and said he might be the best player in the world in his first RLCS event. I forgot that name of the video though.
“Will Zen Obliterate The Skill Ceiling” I think
Yah he said whoever gets this guy is going to win a championship maybe even a year ago he said that
top mechanical players have often been very defensive, Justin, vatira and now zen. The players who don't are usually loners (can't play unless the team revolves around them) like firstkillers and aztral.
Glad to see the trademark scuffed intro 😂
also what if monkeymoon vatira and zen?
Best intro ever. 10/10
How do you think he got to this point of his skill/mechanics? and also notice how he and vatira are some of the only players to use 0.07 deadzone....
Zen is very similar to Vatira. Have been saying it for a while
Bring up the clip where you said whoever gets this player wins RLCS
Everyone is showing different qualities of Zen. I think he can do it all. Sinse he is so meccanical he can choos what he wants to do to win. Making the best desitions.
Jack can you bring the 1v1 rank 1 to the channel?
Whats the best hunter pve build?
Ngl, first time I saw this dude play… I was 1000% sure he was using an input bot. His car just moves so weird unlike any other player. His flip cancels look so precise its like he never inputted the flip, or like hes a computer that can instantly input different mechanics. I couldnt believe his hands could move that fast. But then he played in RLCS and I’m convinced, he’s God.
The most talented player to ever log into this game, and if he wants to be the GOAT i truly believe there will be nothing to hold him back outside of that..its so obvious how insanely consistent he is in a game thats most important thing is that you make the least amount of mistakes possible..i cant wait for later today (10 hours) to see him play in Boston!!
he barely takes off ball cam holy
When I watch Zen play, it's something else. I already feel like when I'm watching the pros that I'm looking upon gods and wizards, but Zen plays against those players like they're chumps!
Джек, когда возвращение в снг? Я понимаю не получилось Нермика битнуть, но ты не расстраивайся, он доминус ноулайфер плеер
Jack stoned as at the start of the clip lol?
In your dreams you champs ever dare to compare yourself to a play that Zen can make. In your dreams.
to keep it very simple. yes he is. vitality with the single player change has completely changed this team as a whole. the space generation alone allows alpha and radios in to play more to there capabilities. zen alone is an offensive powerhouse and by far the deadliest offensive weapon in rlcs.. yet he plays so passive and is an amazing 2nd to third man role.. zen playing 2’d to 3rd man role with solid defense and pinnacle offensive capabilities all while being mvp as a 2nd to 3rd man is ridiculous.
Afroman would be proud xD
I am champ and I saw that touch and thought 'god I wish I could do that'
They have very good offence. I don’t think they are the best team defensively. They got a lot of crazy goals but they got scored on with not so crazy goals. I think they should work on that
This video was fantastic. A pro himself breaking these games down made me realize how much goes on in these games that I don't notice even as a top 10 percentile player. We need more of this.
When i grow up, im gonna be just as good as zen
Analyze BDS with their new addition
Brother is so stoned 😂
Daniel also plays best as a third man for much the same reason. When V1 let Daniel be third mand they were able to win too.
He’s so different
Is zen so mechanical because he’s been playing the game since he was about 9 years old? Like anything if you do something from such a young age, pretty much every day, then you’re going to be extraordinarily good. Does anyone know if he goes to school still?
Great vid btw!
No, it is not a matter of time as much as it is a matter of the combination of 2 things - training the correct ways, and meta-mindset or meta thought process. There are countless people in every profession or competitive skill who put 10000 or 20000 or even 30000 hours and are barely above average. In contrast, world class pros in every field have a training regime and a meta thought process that is better than everyone else's in the world, as well as more time spent. By meta thought process I mean things that encourage growth, for example thinking about what you can't do instead of being proud of what you can do...albert Einstein has some good things to say about meta thought processes btw, and accredits the imaginative meta thought process as the reason for anywhere that a field gets advanced to a new original level of greatness. Einstein says that imagination can be cultivated by a several techniques that he recommends that i forgot, but one includes finding beauty in the most simple mundane things, another is a tendency to question all convention, and others i forgot but probably along the same lines...Time spent is very important but it is secondary. It is not what separates world class players from decent players. Almost all competitive players grind many hours and some dominantly prevail over others. Why? Because of superior training regimens and because of a meta thought process and psychology (both in the training process and in the competitive play) that induces more efficient development of mastery.
@@hordewithbenoni9520 thank you for taking the time to reply! And in such a detailed and informative manner; much appreciated!
@@prima_d8297 you're welcome. I am an amateur philosopher, specifically I study the philosophy of intellect/mind/competition/human development. I tried to give you a simple answer, let me know if you want my take on the development of a world class professional
The pointer on your graph confused me.
After he won this regional hes gonna be more confident and even better forwards
Miss you😢
His own best interest
Little areas all over u can just sit and the play will crop up how rl is!

Wonder what Jack thinks about the team Zen is on (Vitality), could Zen have won regardless of which team he joined, or did he find one of the few teams he could've won with? Does Alpha/Radosin enable him, have synergy etc? How much of Zen's success is affected by his two mates?
Zen has already proved that... He's won 4 of the last 5 French Lan's, all with different teamm8s, I think he also won an EU tourney with a team of him, Exotiik and someone else I think (Ik he won it, idk which were his teamm8s). IMO he just knows how to play to win, he doesn't play to be flashy or have the spotlight, he plays to win and I think that depends if he needs to carry or play around his teamm8s.
@@andrepires3475you are calling Vatira "someone else"????
@@andrepires3475 Im not sure winning a lan in one country proves you'd automatically win RLCS regardless of which team you're on...
@@clows7590 it wasn't this latest LAN, it was an EU tourney, with other EU rlcs teams
He's the best player in the world and has one of the best strikers of all time on his team. It is going to be a scary major for an NA fan.
Jack, I distinctly remember you saying quite some time ago, whoever gets Zen is probably going to win worlds.
Zen won worlds lol
@@Drksanity and here we are... Jesus
Trippin bruh who tf vatira
Rw9 actually had beaten Zen twice in ones
Did Rw9 won 3 regionals,a major and worlds a row by being that much important? Makwzy had beaten Rw9 but Rw9 is way better than mawkzy in general because he do rlcs and he is a better player in 2S and 3s so stop your 5 y.o reasoning and assume that zen is impossible to compare with RW9
yes
Awnser to the title:yes.
Sure jack. We're sick of hearing about zen....😂😂
AJ be lit. 🍃 🤌🏾 🚬 💨 😎 😂…
Why is fennec so good?
I want him to play na now
he plays a lot like daniel when daniel is in the groove. but better than daniel
We talking just skill right? Not like accolades? Like if you compared basketball players on skill than championships and stuff. Cause I tried looking up his name but I got some Swedish player who’s won 4 championships so that’s why I was asking. Or we talking best right now but not all time
Hm.
Zen just the new GOAT

WHERE ARE YOU
It's in his own "self" interest**
Hello,yes.
Zen wasn't the best player on his team over the course of the whole event (not that he wasn't great), but in both series vs TL he absolutely destroyed them. *Easily* the best player in the region on championship Sunday.

The comments disagreeing aged well
hi
No
Zen is Squishy 2.0 this is pretty much what Squishy plays like.. This guy is amazing, he’s got the same mindset as me, except for the fact that he’s 1000 times better than me..
Haha reading these haters now, have nothing to say?? 😊
In my opinion I think that RW9 (Saudis Arabia) is better I’ve seen they 1v1 each other and this guy win RW9
Vitality would DESTROY Rule one ngl
You realize that RLCS is a 3s tournament right?
im actually early for once
RW9 >>> Zen, don't?

First like for me
Lol, L intro 😂
not scary, demoralizing.
I can’t agree that Zen is a defensive player 😂
