Always nice to learn something new. Waiting for ur Garden photography workshop😉. Have a great Sunday Nick!
Thanks very much Markus, you have a great Sunday too.
Learnt so much just through watching these vlogs Nick. Enjoy immensely - thanks so much!
Thanks very much Alison.
Hi Nick, like Marcus already said - always good to learn something new.. Keep those videos coming ...
Thanks very much Franz :)
Hi Nick, you get the bird mostly of centre and facing into space , I'm struggling with that' how do you decide on your focus point, when you don't have much time , thanks, liked & subbed.
Many thanks for your support 😊. I mostly use the centre focus point and it’s a case of quickly focusing on the subjects eye then recomposing to the image I want and hope the subject doesn’t move its head too much in that time. If you have a perch set up you could try setting your composition and choosing a focus point with which you think your subject you be in. Because I have three perches set next to each other that doesn’t really work.
Some great images there...I much prefer images that show more of the surroundings to give context to the animal. While extreme close-ups are great, there is something missing in my opinion....they become more of an image that would appear in a bird field guide.I especially like your images of the robin on the old handle. Keep them coming!
Thanks very much Neil, I appreciate that.
