It's sad that I won't get to see this beautiful aircraft anymore. Has to be one of, If not my favourite ever. Im glad I got to fly on them during the britannia, air 2000, and airtours days.
Awesome catch of her final landing. UK aviation will never be the same now all the stars are retired, no 747's, no 767's and no 757's in passenger service....
Yup they should’ve but it’s cost effective anymore for them to keep it, it’s been flying for over 30y now! Also they are replacing them with a321 Neo’s
Shame nobody else wanted them. I randomly said on a J2 FB group. How come they never considered sale to US based airlines that already have passenger 757s? I mentioned Delta since they are currently the largest operator of the type iirc.

Great aircraft been flying for more than 30 years! More a321 Neo’s on the way for Jet2 now
Great video mate! It’s so sad to see them go😢
Cheers mate, yeah it really is what a great aircraft 🙌
So sad, wonderful, graceful aircraft
Unfortunately they can’t all stay, they are replacing the 757 with a321 Neo’s soon which is more cost effective
End of an ERA for the 757’s, what a beautiful aircraft!
@@altitudeairlines it really is! 🥹
Nice smooth landing, the take off from Manchester was streamed, very short and climbed like a rocket, they really gave it some welly .
Yeah they arrived in St.Athans in no time tbh
Great to see this classic Boeing 757-200 thank you for sharing other subscribers subbed
No problem, thank you for watching and also subscribing I do really appreciate that! More videos 🔜

Have always loved the shape, the lines of 757s more than later models. Flew on one to Kenya with Monarch back in the early 90s.
My dad used to weld the veins on the Rolls Royce RB211 engine used on the 757
It Sounded SWEET.... RR ARE THE BEST...
So sad! The 752 has always been my favourite, flown on many of them.
@@mrsmchistory it really is sad to see them go 🥹 glad you had the change to fly with them 🙌
So glad i got a model and flew on the 757 with jet 2 saw it last year for the last time
It’s always cool to have the aircraft models you’ve flown with 🙌
@OfficialBristolAirportSpotting I think it was that very aircraft tried to get the silver painted ine but was out of stock
Should have been preserved. Such an iconic aircraft and the last uk reg 757 in service . Goodbye G-lsai

@OfficialBristolAirportSpotting The neos look better in allegiant inspired livery. They look strange in red and grey
Great catch 🙂
Thank you 🫡

I wish people would stop calling it St Athans......its St Athan.....😊
Sorry my bad, thank you for correcting
I hope they can recycle a lot of material from these old aircraft. That way, they never truly die.
Oh yeah they will be recycled for sure, also they sell parts to the public like the seats 💺 etc
Rest easy lasi. Shame nobody wanted them for cargo conversion, or are they not viable?
Unfortunately too old for cargo conversations
757 so much safer than 737
Really Sad to see these goo!
@@gamerkopt2290 yep! 35 years of non stop flying tho (except for c**id times 🤣) but yeah they are replacing these with the Airbus a321
0:00 nooo a tui 737-700 is there also 0:08 u can see the tail of another 757 that has bid farewell:c also 0:36 another 757 :c #757forever

St Athan!
Not really an airport either.
Shame. Not even DHL wanted them
DHL retired 6 757 already and still got another 34 in service 🤩
