I'm retiring from the military after 22 years. Moving 2,000 miles away to start my own business as a personal trainer. I'm nervous, happy, fearful, and cannot wait to start this next stage of my life. This is the first time I have ever done something like this, the first time I have ever taken a chance on myself. I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm going to figure it out. Also, my partnership that you mentioned is an old friend turned into a new romantic relationship; I am in love with her, I have always had love for her. I am constrained because I had my heart broken about 10 months ago from another woman; it was the worst pain I have ever felt. I am fearful that it could happen again. However, she is very understanding and helping me heal my heart. I have to work on opening up emotionally. I have to learn how again. Your readings are helping me heal myself. 🤯🤯 literally a few minutes before i started listening to this reading i spoke to my person about his inability to be vulnerable, just when it seems like he’s opening up, he closes off. When things get chaotic he opens little by little.. reading resonated like crazy ❤
If I start the conversation he won't badge bc he had decided right from thr start that this relationship is a passtime. He decided long ago to keep his family without working on the obvious problems and have sb on the side. I love him but I know. I would so love if i learn how to hold space for someone who finds it hard to emotionally open up or be vulnerable. I am dealing with someone like that and i screwed things up in the past without realising that i am being too pushy..i am trying to change my approach about the situation but sometimes it feels like walking in a minefield because as Ali said rightly, we cant force someone to open up but if i dont even try or bring it up the other person may never get out of their comfort zone.
Can anyone please help me with suggestions as to how we can hold space and encourage someone who finds it hard to be emotionally open?

@@ALIsTarot honestly I am scared to because every way I think or have tried it made them feel I am calling them inadequate or not enough, that made me feel even worse because they are a very good person and I see what they don't but I don't know HOW Ali 😅😅
I also don't want them to feel I'm trying to change them or fix them. But I do want to help them in some wayy not just for what I ll get out of it but like you said in extended, I want them to experience full happiness and everything life has to offer
