Hi friends! Thanks for stopping by and for all the sweet comments! ❤
Hi Holly. I think you're supposed to use a regular spray paint and then put the texture one over it so you don't have to use as much. ❤
@@dianejenkner2101I used a primer paint combo spray paint.
HOLLY!!!!! WOW! I am in love with the ladle wall art! I can’t thank you enough for sharing your creations. Seriously, you make my brain go PEW PEW PEW with ideas! Like fireworks! I hope you truly know you ARE an inspiration to so many of us! 👏👏👏- Kristin
I'm so glad! Thank you for the sweet comment! Have a beautiful day my friend 😘🌷❤️
That ladle wall art is just absolutely beautiful
These projects are so beautiful, and creative. I love the faux wood technique, and all of the projects. Thank you for the inspiration, and the step-by-step tutorials, dear Holly.
🏡🙏🏻💚🤗👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you so much! Thank you for watching Rhonda! ❤️🌷
I had no idea, not in my wildest dreams, that it was even possible to fall in love with a ladle.
😂 Thank you! 🌷❤️
Hi Holly! My husband and I were lying in bed this Saturday morning just being lazy. During the week we have to be up by five in the morning so lying around Saturday morning is a real treat for us. I thought I’d check my phone to see what the weather was gonna be like today. Then over to RUclips. I was so excited to see your video!! My first video I’ve watched today! I love everything! I too like taking those plastic items and making them look better even expensive with paint. I’m definitely going to make that last one. Thanks so much for posting this video. I always enjoy your videos. I learn something new and I’m high strung so your voice is calming to listen to as well. Thanks Holly! Have a great weekend!!
❤️💜💚
Awesome! Laying in on the weekend is paramount! Hope you continue to have a very relaxing and peaceful weekend my friend. ❤️🌷
This was great! Love all of your crafts!
Love how you can make plastic look like wood ! Don’t think I could do it.
Give it a try! Bet you can ❤️
I truly appreciate you sharing your talents with us Holly.
I am always so amazed and the things you create. I also appreciate how you talk us through each step, making it possible for us to create beautiful things.
Thank you so much!
I love the deer pic, my brother loved deers, he passed away, so every time I see deers being used, it makes me think of him so Thank You!!! I love the candlestick, if those were being sold in a store, they would be expensive, I am definitely gonna try these.😎
Love the copper bowl and abstract bowl with beads for feet.
Thank you! 🌷❤️
Wow that hammer copper bowl looks just like copper
WOW Holly, you’ve just blown my mind first rattle outta the barrel with that gorgeous first piece. I’m definitely seeing several different planters for my front porch and so many different decor pieces for my entire home. Thank you for sharing your amazing talents with all of us out here needing inspiration. ❤❤❤
That’s my 😍 favorite one. ❤️ thank you!

❤️❤️❤️
Holly, I love them all you have a special talent and it shows in your projects . You projects are so beautiful ❤
Aww you’re too kind 😘🌷
You can take anything Holly and make it stunning!! I loved them all! Copper bowl was perfect! All the creations with plastic are genius! I also love how you show & teach us how to create or recreate on a budget. You are so talented, and Ive learned a lot from you. ❤ Blessings
Thanks so much! 😊
You have such a soothing kind way about you🌹🌹🌹🌹Such good teaching skills, and beautiful crafts♥️♥️♥️
Thank you so much 😊
I think my favorite is the ladle. The copper one looks authentic.
I have 2 compliments for you. The combination of your soft tone of voice and the way you present is ideal for me. I like your confidence to share any small mistakes or changes. You don’t need to laugh at yourself to “break the tension”. You’re just real.
I also like your music choices. By lowering the music level during voice overs and changing the actual tracks throughout the video I don’t register annoying (dare I say STRESSFUL at times) music. No single track gets stuck in my ear.
This is quickly becoming a deciding factor for me. I don’t care what the content is if I can’t stand the music or can’t hear the voice. Part of why I watch craft channels is to relax and watch beautiful things be created.
Thank you!!😊
Love the black candle holders.
Gorgeous, genius, and wonderful ideas! Thank you, Holly for sharing your projects!
I always love the way you show your getting there, your technique, and how you think about your final idea.
I live in California and I used to frequent garage sales and thrift stores for my projects, but indeed, everything is just so expensive now. Lucky we have you, and lucky we have Dollar Tree🙂
Thank you so much!
The bowl that you sprayed painted it copper it differently looks like hammered copper.
The tray and the candle sticks are gorgeous… I love the deer on it, I’ve never seen something like that before!
I get so excited when I see you have posted a video! I just love your style of crafting and how you share your knowledge! You are the QUEEN OF DIYS! If it’s been awhile since you’ve posted, I will go back and watch your old videos and recreate from one of those 😂
Aww that’s awesome. Thank you my friend 🌷❤️🌸
Oh my goodness!!! These are all beautiful. I just appreciate how you make things that I feel comfortable trying. You mind is always coming up with unique ideas that other people won’t have and I love that. I like being and having different things and ideas. Thanks so much for sharing. Nana Brenda
Thank you so much!
I love love LOVE that printing on tissue paper.
Holly all of them are Amazing!! You never disappoint!!❤❤❤❤
Thank you!
As always 💕💕💕. I just looked last night to see if I'd missed 1 of your videos & there it was this morning 😊.
Yay! I’m trying to upload once a week, but I got a nasty cold last week and didn’t feel well enough. I’m all better this week. Happy crafting my sweet friend. ❤️🌸

I had to laugh at the toilet paper bowl as a holder for royalty LOL ! Loved the copper bowl.
😂 thank you!
What a fantastic video! These DIY's are incredible! I'm awash with ideas now that you've inspired me! Thank you Holly 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍
Wow! I'm so amazed by all your craft projects. You definitely give me inspiration to try new things out, especially outside of the box ideas. All your projects looked so high-end & very elegant. --------Amelia
I love the bowl, it is beautiful! The tray is gorgeous! Oh my goodness, the ladle is stunning, love it! Love the taller container, it is so wonderful! Holly, I love all your amazing projects! Always enjoy watching you, great ideas!❤️
You always have such beautiful and imaginative projects. Please keep them coming.
❤❤❤ your crafts so much, you are so wonderfully talented! I always enjoy your videos.
WOW!!!! Love it absolutely everything is amazing love the ladle ❤❤❤❤
The copper bowl definitely looks high end, Holly! I’m going to play around with making the wood texture on the last tray you made. Love how it turned out! As always, thank you!😊💛
Re doing the edge of the wooden frame with the permanent marker: I was taught during a decoupage class (about 30 years ago when decoupage was still on trend) to use the edge of the marker. So if you turn the pen on the side, at a right angle to the edge of the wood, this might be helpful... maybe? We used to do it with ANY paper we were going to stick down on an object- which would include your background music-like paper. It just gives a more polished look. Just a consideration for next time you're edging something.
Amazing 👏🏽 I love your paint technique. Bravo 👏🏽
Everything turned out beautiful. The ladle is absolutely my favorite, it turned out so gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your ideas and creativity. 😊🧡
Holly, you create some of the most beautiful pieces! I liked everything but my favorite is the black candle sticks! ❤
Everything is just so pretty. Great tutorial. The first bowl and the ladle with birds eggs are so pretty. hank you.
If you touch it, it is magnificent. Thank you for sharing these awesome videos.
Hi Holly! I love all of them, especially the round tray! I'm gonna have to try to make that one! Thank you for sharing your amazing ideas!
I think this was an awesome video! I think the black candle holders were my faves❤ Good job Holly!😊
I LOVE what you did with the ladle!! That was my absolute favorite!!!!!
How good would those 'wooden' ladles look if you connected each one on an angle below one another (removing the stems on the ones underneath) and then had water spilling from one 'cup' to the next before landing in a bowl? Great idea for a water feature. Would just have to figure out how to protect the paint from coming off with all that water continually pouring over them. Anyone have any ideas on what sealant to use?
I thought you were making a lazy Suzanne. This is beautiful though. Thank you Beth
Très beau travail felicitation madame j'ai beaucoup aimé le cadre avec la louche c'était superbe 👍👍👍🤗💙💙💙
that “tapping” brush is called a stippling brush and when you’re tapping with it, it’s called stippling
I love watching your videos. My favorite is the ladle. You would never know it was plastic!
I love the copper hammer look. I'm always saving tape rings. I love the raised 💡 idea.❤
Such a fantastic video. You are so talented and share your skills so clearly and beautifully with us.
I Love the new copper hammer look bowl, and on the label look my Mother used the toilet bowl brush the one with the wire neck and made a nest out of it she sprayed the brissels green I will try to send a pictures.
Love all your projects. Especially Halloween.
I loved this video from start to finish. I am amazed at how you were able to transform these plastics.
My experience with the textured spray paint was to use matte spray paint that matches in color then go over with the textured spray paint.
Loved all your projects. They looks high end❤
I’m making the basket! That is so expensive looking!
That slant vase/bowl that you put feet beads on would make a good trash can for a bedroom.
Think you NAILED THE HAMMERED COPPER!
I love love love your ideas ❤️
Thank you! 😊
My favorite was the deer tray. The copper bowl did look hammered
I love all of your crafts. I’m not sure I could pick a favorite.
I think the texture on the bowl is great for hammered cooper!
Holy the cost is about the same. To either buy chalk paint or making it
Dearest Holly, once again you THRILL me with your meticulous approach to every DIY you share with us!!! I remember the first video I found of yours, where you turned a coffee can into a faux vintage/rustic watering can. I was not only blown away, I - WAS - HOOKED!!!!! Many thanks as always for sharing and I wait patiently for EVERY new video, even as I binge on your older ones!!! Have an awesome week!!! ❤😊❤
Thank you so much!
I love the three black candlesticks!! Always appreciate it when you show the process of making the faux wood! Everything is beautiful Holly!💕💕💕🌵💕💕🌷
Thank you Trace ❤️🌷🌸
These are gorgeous Holly! Loved them all. 🥰🤗
So glad! ❤️🥰😘🌷
Wow that really looks like what you did a beautiful job at that love it❤
Great video!!! I love everything you made ❤
Chalk pain on Amazon in Canada costs $16.99….cheapest…for a small jar! I have some white primer paint….can I try adding baby powder? Would that give me chalk paint? I think I’ll try it but thought I’d ask you for input. You are amazing!
Yes absolutely, but make sure your baby powder is made with talc. That’s getting harder and harder to find but you can get it on Amazon and I heard you can occasionally find it still not in baby powder, but in other powders, which would still work.
Very creative and original ideas. You are talented…
Another wonderful video!! You're so relaxing to watch! And I really enjoy learning new techniques from you...these were all awesome!! 😁👍😁🤗🤗
Thank you so much!
Such a detailed explanation. I love seeing plastic bowl transformations ever since seeing some fabulous 4-5ft high Christmas decorations which used plastic 'crystal' or 'cut-glass' type bowls of various sizes several years ago.
I don't love that we can't get any of these products in Australia for these sort of prices. (Decent sized plastic bowls like this will cost upwards from $20 IF you can manage to even find any interesting ones.) I generally avoid any titles that say 'Dollar Tree' in them because of this.
Your video contains such great processes that I might use them for things that are not so expensive. Thanks for sharing your work in such a concise but detailed way. It was totally worth stopping by.
I try to do many different ideas so that my international viewers can participate. I’m glad you enjoyed the video! 🥰😘
Fun DIYs all around! A tip that I got from somewhere: use 2 coats of BLACK or charcoal primer on the transparent bowls---the white just lets too much light through, I guess? I really love the candlesticks, too---I was thinking to use air-dry clay underneath the bottom to both add weight & help secure the dowel. And thanks so much for commenting on how the baking soda finish is really glued on tight---I've always had visions of it crumbling off in a few months, good to know that it doesn't. Your finishes are among the best!
If I ever try that fake stone spray paint again, I will definitely try the black spray paint. Black does cover much better. I wish I had left the inside of the bowl with no paint though because it would have been 100% safe for a birdbath and I didn’t even think of that. Next time! 🥰😘 thanks for commenting!
Hi Holly - Love your RUclips! You recently mentioned how much you loved your printer. Would you please give me the information on it? I looked in your description box but I don't see it. Thank you so much! Actually I just watched your RUclips again and saw the printer so I was able to get the model info. Next question, have you had it long enough to need to buy ink refills. If so, did you stick with Canon or find a good competitive source? Thank you. Jo Ann
Here’s the link to mine because I found out Canan has the same numbers on some of their printers, but they’re slightly different. This is the exact one I got here: Canon Mega Tank Printer: amzn.to/3Gza0uJ
The ink should be suggested below that computer. I don’t believe it was the brand-name. It was just a generic set of ink bottles. I just bought it two months ago, but I read the comments on Amazon and people are saying you can get 6000 to 7000 prints out of it . I’m very excited because the ink is so cheap that the printer will pay for itself over and over. If you buy through that link, I also get 4% commission which helps keep my channel going at no extra cost to you. Much love to you my friend, it’s always good to see you! ❤️❤️❤️
They are called ramikens I think... Love all of your creations, very nice.. Thank you so much for sharing, *God bless you and your family, Stay Safe and Well*
Yes! That’s it! Thank you!
Another excellent video. Your creativity knows no bounds.
BTW, that round brush is called a pouncer.
Thanks for the info! ❤️🌷
Hi thank you 4 a great vid. You are smart and your work is wonderful. I would take three of each. But the first bowl is beyond fabulous. I want it.
did not know about speeding videos up. I usually will not watch tutorials videos that are now than 25 minutes long. Now i know about the speed control i can watch more videos. And for some that i have to play on repeat i can slow them down. Now i know
THANK YOU for making the world a more beautiful and smarter place ❤❤❤
Awesome, thank you!
HOLLY YOU did it again. The one project that you did that had the cathedral look is the same thing I was thinking when you were marbleizing it was it. It looked like a Roman column is absolutely beautiful and once again you’ve come through I have never seen anything that you’ve made that I have an absolutely loved.😊
Yay! Thank you!
All of these are genius and beautiful. You are so brilliant and talented. I love what you do and share. I have only a couple of creators that I follow and you are the top of my list along with Brandi (DIY struggle). I’m so happy when you share! Thank you so much ❤❤❤
Thank you so much!
Wow, I think these are some of your best makes I’ve ever seen ! I loved your faux aged finishes. Your patience & attention to detail really pay off. Using plastic you created finishes more realistic than many other RUclipsrs failed to achieve using glass or ceramic vases / lamps. Definitely saving this video to reference back to often. Thank you.
Thank you so much! 😊 ❤️🌸
U Go Girl so very outstanding crafts ideas and ❤❤❤❤ an like them all an give u all 👍👍👍👍👍👍an 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thank you 😊!
I love the vessels you made. I was out flea marketing today trying to find some bowls or vases, with no luck, to try to turn them into this. You have shown me I can do it with DT and DG plastic! You are awesome! 😊❤😊
You can do it! Happy crafting my sweet friend ❤️🌷
Hi Holly,
I have been out of commission since last week o January. Extremely sick with bilateral pneumonia and hospitalized for a week and then sent home with minimal activity for a week with nebulizer treatment and nebulizer, inhalers, antibiotics, decongestants, and cough medications. I was very sick. My O2 sat was 89-90. ABGs done at hospital in ER. I had to be hospitalized to a hospital an hour away, because the hospital I was at and the other 30 miles away I use also were full. This hospital was a level one that could create for A patient with pneumonia and they were a new sister hospital to the hospital that I was at. Even though this hospital I was transferred to was an older hospital, it was beautifully renovated. Some of the bathrooms still needed renovating; my room was one of rooms that needed a current facelift. The medical staff all around the house on all levels were absolutely wonderful. Great Hospitality and care.
Oh no! Glad you’re getting better! Take good care of yourself! ❤️🌷
WOW! 'THE THROWN' (LOL) WOULD BE A BEAUTIFUL BIRD BATH WITH A SMALL FOUNTAIN SYSTEM IN IT😊. SEALING IT WITH DISH WASHING SAFE MOOD PODGE WOULD NOT HURT THE 🐦 🐦⬛ 🦉 🐥 🐔 ❤LOVE THE OTHER DIY'S ALSO BUT THAT MADE ME LAUGH, GREAT WORK❤🌹
😂 I was thinking that too, and it occurred to me that you don’t even have to paint the inside of the bowl because it’s see-through and the design will show through. That way it would be totally safe and it wouldn’t taste funny for the birds. You could turn it upside down and seal with a varnish that is meant for the outdoors which would also keep the inside bowl clean and it would be perfect for birds!!
Beautiful projects Holly, as usual, I especially loved the hammered bowl & candle holders. The wooden tray was amazing ❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Holly so good to see your videos again! I’ve been MIA for a while so I’m binge watching loving everything your doing your so creative and inspirational really appreciate you! God bless you
Welcome back!
You are the greatest. I’ve gotten a little behind watching your videos. Im saving something’s that I have picked up from our garage to turn into wood.I can’t wait to see if I can master your technique. You are the best and I love your videos. JaniceTNRN
Awesome! Thank you! Much love to you my friend!
I love, love, love every one of these diys !! The faux wood ladle is my favorite. I'm going to try something similar. Thanks for the inspiration ❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much! 😊
You made some beautiful pieces. I’m going to practice making fake wood. Yours looks so real. I love the ladle, the white vases. Well I’ll just say I love them all. I can’t wait to try to make some gorgeous white big vases. Janice
Thank you my sweet friend!
Thank you for sharing all of your great ideas
I can’t pick a favorite. They are all beautiful you are so talented and creative. Thanks for sharing. God Bless!
Thanks so much 😊
Holly thank you so much for sharing your creativity and talent. LOVE your channel.
You are so welcome! Thank you! 🌷❤️
Hi Holly, every craft is absolutely beautiful, as always!!!! Hope all is well with you and your family! Hugs😊🌸🌺🌻💗
Thank you 😊! Hope you’re well too ❤️🌸
I liked the spoon
Thank you! 🌷❤️
Love your ladle project 💜💜💜 Also loved your Hammer-Copper bowl 💜💜💜
Thank you! 😊
I love all of the projects. I was wondering in the first concrete looking bowl does the paint mixture ever chip off or crack? It looks so real! Thank you!
You have to seal it with a clear varnish. I used the spray varnish by mod podge, but any clear varnish would work. Use a matte one.
The ladle board is so darling I love the the little nest
Holly, love your crafts, the spoon craft is absolutely beautiful. I will be trying that. Thanks for sharing
Have fun! Thank you 😊!
