Over the years, I've run out of starting fluid and discovered that carb cleaner works better than starting fluid. Electrical contact spray works pretty good too.
This works great, had to use the trick on a bent ATV rim, tons of bead sealant and some wire wheeling wouldn't get it to seat, I used the fire trick and it worked first go.
Fact - you could *really fuck up your face* if not careful or you don’t know what you’re doing. If either the case, don’t be a lazy piece of shit, and just pay to mount it lol. But hey, it’s your face 😂
On smaller tires, I would HIGHLY recommend you use a rachetstrap as I know too many people who've gotten hurt using the fire method.
Yea,starting fluid is a 50 50 thing

Fun fact thats not inflating the tire its just setting the bead
Been doing it since the 70s….
Haaaa. Judging by the burn on the tire idcsay it was your third or forth try.
We use to do this for fun when I worked at the tire shop 😂 lol
Little disclaimer if you put too much your tire will leave the chat. Or if the tire was ran flat
