I think that people that get upset about cheaper alternatives would prefer if nice smelling perfumes were only reserved for people with financial means. They forget that cheaper perfume alternatives have been always there and that many of those alternatives fall short compared to more fancy perfumes, so yes, people can always stick to pricier perfumes if they can afford them!
Having said that, many thanks for sharing all price ranges in your channel, many of us really appreciate that
I agree! This really angers me because fragrance is for EVERYONE, and I really appreciate that Paulina is showing us a range of fab smelling items. In my collection I also have a range of precious and beloved scents; from Initio, Byredo & MFK, to Sol de Janeiro & Britney Spears, along with many Lattafa, Armaf and Orientica treasures... I think that those of us who are truly passionate about perfumes, don't really care about the price tag, whether it's a dupe or truly an original, or what label/brand it is, as long as it "sparks joy" we're in! Great video and great comment!!!

I also wonder whether more expensive brands actually took inspiration from the Middle Eastern perfume world for their private collections and that’s how suddenly that profile is all over the fragrance world 🤷🏽♀️

you’ll find that with watches too. there’s a lot of watch snobs that hate cheaper brands making affordable quality watches inspired by famous designs with their own twist for people that can’t drop $20K for the classic original. wear what makes you happy

in August I went to the dentist, wearing Sakeena. they had to get out a tooth, one of my wisdom teeth. so the procedure is going on and from thin air, the assistant asks me WHAT IS THIS SMELL TELL ME. yea, I'm telling you right away, half of my head being numb, and sitting there with open mouth... :DDDD
and then the dentist lady said YES, IT IS SO GOOD WHAT IS THIS??? so, they get my tooth out and I showed them on my phone. I'll forever remember that tooth extraction when wearing sakeena lol

People comment that arabic perfumes are garbage are out of their mind.Some are very good ,are insanely long lasting and some exist in the perfume industry longer than some niche brands.
The only thing I can think of is they want to gate keep smelling nice 😂

Girl right!!! I buy three brand name perfumes yearly ( alien fusion Chanel Leau and Poison ) the rest I buy dupes when I can !! Nothing wrong with being frugal if you can find great ones like these

Paulina thank you for introducing me to Arabic perfumes. I ended up buying 8 and my most most favorite one is khamrah. My daughter who isn16 and extremely picky loves it so much that she wears it to school everyday and gets compliments every single day. I might need to buy another
If you love Khamrah you may also love Nebras! I have both and I wear them almost every day, at some time during the day :)

@@christinayoussef7482 wow! That's a first, normally people love it. But if it doesn't agree with your skin chemistry it's going to smell awful! I'm that was with Ylang Ylang, cannot wear anything that has it because on my skin it turns into overripe bananas and hot garbage!
Arabs have been known since far back in history for their perfumery. Many people don't realise actually that even some niche and designer perfumes are clones of arab fragrances or some of them already existed and are labelled clones. Not to say they don't dupe brands but I think It works both ways.

There are snobs out there and reality is those who know know and many of these middle easterns are way better quality and are not charging the ridiculous profit markup. Love my Khamrah and Infini Rose. The baroque satin oud is a bit too masculine for me. I am scared to buy Kaheela lux because I feel it would be too masculine. I really appreciate you showing the Arabian brands, I feel they are so beautiful and I love the spicy undercurrent of a lot of them.

I got a sample of Sakeena and Eternal Coffee a few months back. Loved EC, but didn’t really like Sakeena so I just left it on my vanity. Last night I decided to try it again so I can empty the decant for reuse and OMG!! It is now absolutely gorgeous!! The passion fruit and berries just shine! The sea salt and ozonic notes give it a beautiful light airy feel. And I just love the dry down of praline, vanilla goodness! Guess it just needed to sit for a while. Im getting a full bottle soon. I love all your reviews and do such an amazing job explaining notes. Keep up the awesome work Paulina ❤

I have both Atomic Rose and Infini Rose and they are both so similar and amazing! I wear Infini Rose a lot more because Initio is a tad too expensive so I save it for very special occasions haha.
Thank you for the intro. I’ve been saying this for awhile too. Niche brands also have dupes…. Hell some niche fragrances are duping cheapies, example: Parfums de Marly’s Meliora is duping Lalique Amethyst… but people don’t like hearing that 🤷🏽♀️ oh well

Never tried Angels share, but Khamrah was way too smoky for me, actually, I don't like any smoke in any parfume. Sweet part is very nice, but I cannot tolerate smoke. I was trying to get Kismet sample, but now you said it is way closer to Kilian, which is more smoky, I think will give it a pass. Nebras is my favourite Arabian so far, out of all tested. Thanks for honest review.

Baroque satin oud is magical
I view Arabic perfumery as a whole other world of fragrances to explore! I think people need to be careful that their prejudices aren't cultural ones...I think it can be a very 'western' perspective to snub these brands! Truthfully, I have only just begun exploring these Arabic fragrances - But, I am enjoying SO many that I've gotten my hands on! The Al Haramain Amber Collection, EVERYTHING from Orientica, Swiss Arabian's Casablanca, Florence and Valencia...and the fact that most of them are so affordable - That is just a bonus!!! So, thank you for doing these types of videos! I have been watching all of them taking notes! xoxo
How do you like Amber Oud Ruby Edition? Compared to my other middle eastern fragrances, it was quiet pricy (but cant complain of course;), but it's such a scratchy and has nothing to do with Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfum, is yours thr same, or needs mine time to sit, or is it a bad batch, or....🤔🤪😘

Maison Alhambra Baroque Rouge Extrait. Paulina did a video on it about 2 weeks ago. I think it’s the “15 new arabic perfumes” video. But some people say the Baroque’s performance is quite weak.

As soon as I watched this I purchased Maison alhambra baroque satin oud. I love the OG but the price point is way off for me….this! OMG is a 1:1 scent. I’m in love. Not sure on performance but for the price you can afford to be spritz happy! Keep up the Arabic reviews pls x
