Hey Everyone! Today I am showing you how I store and display my entire perfume collection including samples and decants. Since I'm showing you everything I decided not to talk about the perfumes, but if you want a review of any of them just let me know! How do you store your fragrances? Do you have any ideas of how I can rework the bottom two shelves of my bookcase? Thanks!!!

How do you store your perfumes? Do you have any ideas for my perfume sample storage? Thanks!!!
Beautiful Collection Tara!!! I only have 74 bottles (which I’m trying to narrow down to 35), and I store them in a large drawer in my storage cupboards. Some fragrances are kept in their boxes and others without. I don’t really keep any on display since it’s easy for me to access the drawer multiple times a day haha. I tend to pick my fragrance of the day by looking at my Fragrantica wardrobe and deciding which one to go for..

Idk how true but I learned you have to store your perfume bottles in a dark place or room. The storage must also be in room temperature to prevent spoiling the perfume through unnecessary moist. So yeah, I keep mine in non-see-through cabinets. But your collection display is gorgeous! 💖 New subscriber here.

Be-a-utiful. ✨ ❤️ ✨ That tiered spice rack idea was a stroke of brilliance Tara. Thanks to you, I'll be looking to create my own version very soon, but my setup is actually pretty crude - dark wooden cabinet with full wooden doors (no glass), foam-insulated interior walls (for moisture and temperature control), door activated LED closet lighting and an internal thermometer. I used to just have a piece of velcro on an interior wall with an analog meter thermometer stuck to it, but eventually decided to just get a cheap wireless weather station and simply velcro the sensor to the inside so that I could monitor the temperature and humidity from anywhere in the house. Pretty sweet eh? That way I could track any anomalous fluctuations or patterns during heating/cooling cycles throughout the year. I had this idea of putting two sensors in there to measure the difference between the top and bottom of the cabinet (to optimize bottle placement), but realized that would be overkill. The reason I mention it is because, with your glass doors, you could probably easily see inside if you decided to put a thermometer in there. Wouldn't even detract from the beautiful setup. Just put it on a side wall and you're golden. And now to the more important issue.....CoNGRaTS on 3K!!!!! 🎇 🥳 Here's to a cracking year, with lots of cheer, a new frontier, refreshing beer, russian cuir and....a muscled rear, I dunno. That last one would be nice though. 🤣 Cheers toots.

Luckily the room these are in is one of the most consoles in terms of temperature, but it would be nice to know for sure. Thanks for the fantastic ideas!!!

I love that you used that glass front cabinet for storage! Such a beautiful collection and so nice that everything is visible. 💕 Maybe you’ve already done it, but just in case you live in a state or country with earthquakes or even tornados, have you tried putting hidden baby locks on the cabinet doors? I live in California and I am considering doing that for my bathroom cabinets. I hate to even put that out into the universe but it’s something I often think about when seeing such beautiful collections as yours! ❤️

One word: WOW! Amazing collection and I definitely am going to check out that cabinet from IKEA. I have some bottles on my desk, some in another desk, some in the closet, and some in boxes. I need to get organized like you. 😄

Great storage system and beautiful collection, Tara! I store most of my perfume in baskets that slide underneath the bed. I keep my vintages and samples in a cabinet in the bathroom.

I was silently watching until I saw the sample organization.!!Wow!!.Great collection by the way.Mine is only 30 fragrances more or less and the few samples I have are stored inside an empty Acqua di Parma candle jar lol.

Ahhhh, I was waiting for this one, such eye candy! Stacks of books in your favorite color (paint them!) or favorite books make good stages or pillars for displays. I just use perfume boxes for my back row.

Thanks for the storage goals. I don’t like to get of samples either. Keep them for reference even if I don’t want a full bottle so I don’t your bottom shelves are acceptable.

Parfait de Roses is my ultimate fragrance from the Maison Lancome line. It’s not talked about a lot but it’s so beautiful. It’s everything I wish Roses Vanille were, top 10 for life, for sure!!
I love Parfait de Roses as well (more than Roses Berberanza which seems to be the one most people favor).
Wow Tara! That's an awesome setup! I need to grow up and be more like you with my frags. 😂 I think you can create a step system on the bottom where you can put the shorter bottles on the step and taller bottles like Feve on the floor of the cabinet. The kitchen with storage bins for discovery sets and samples is that you forget about them until something reminds you of them or you have to go back into them to put more in. I try to get rid of samples I'm done with by giving them away to friends and family and also free samples with decants.
That's a great idea! Thanks, D'Angelo. Yeah, I don't love having that box of samples/discovery sets. I definitely forget about them like that. The ones I have out I actuality reach for daily l fairly often.
I laughed out loud at the idea of little Tara wanting to become a brain surgeon. I think most kids just say Doctor. When I was a little girl, I wanted to drive an ice cream truck. 😂🤣😂

Holy shit you are organized!! I have a similar tiered system but I find that it’s easy to knock bottles over if you grab something from the back. I think I’ll build a shallow shelf (recessed into the wall would be amazing!) with a cross bar to keep perfumes from toppling over when I get the chance. Also my sample storage is a mess!! I use bullet storage boxes for vial samples and they work really well. -Camille

0:55 seconds in and already NEED a stand-alone review of Xerjoff Lira, but also a comparison to Love Don’t be Shy!!! I own both of these but I’m curious to know your thoughts on both...
Now, back to watching...
Those two do have a lemony-type of similarity, but otherwise they go in different directions. Lira is the heavier one with caramel and vanilla. It's very much like a lemon caramel cake. Love it more fruity floral to me than Lira. They're both good, but I prefer Lira from those two.
With Ikea Billy bookcases, the shelves are not made of hardwood so they will cave in in the middle after a few years. You may want to add additional hinges to prop up the central part of the shelves. Anyway, always wanted to see how you store your bottles. Love your "steps" system. Thanks for sharing!

That's definitely the safest way to store them, but I love seeing all the pretty bottles. I decided to get the this bookcase and put it on that particular wall because the sunlight is blocked. The room is very dark when I don't have my filming lights on, but yes, definitely not as safe as storing them in boxes.

I love your how curated your collection is 💕and you def have a type 😂 I have Issara on one arm and Angel’s share on another and the dry down is in the same scent category on my skin.
