@@SebaBuenoHaceMusiquitaJijiji Louis plays open handed primarily, meaning his left hand does a lot of things most drummers choose to do with their right hand and vice versa. He also uses unique setups like placing cymbals on his drums to affect the sound and offer multiple playing surfaces on each one. His technique is fascinating to watch as a drummer because it's just plain uncommon to see, let alone see executed so well.
That’s funny! I was bummed my video wasn’t clearer. Yesterday I posted a video where Louis is all smiles plus sticks his tongue out at the band! Damn he loves playing and clearly enjoys himself. Love that. I’m still sorting through video. I need to find the disco ball one - looks amazingly. - Judith 😜
Watch for Louis to smile. It’s always a favorite moment… I’ve seen too many artists who kinda hate playing their music. BTW there is ALWAYS an opening act plus around an hour before Knower comes out. Plan drinks and stuff accordingly!
Hello! I watched your 2 channels. Informative and inspirational. Loved your beautiful voice. I’d have sat in the sidewalk listening to you all day. Jon Batiste said “I believe that when you need it most the right song finds you.” You might enjoy Jon Batiste and the Stay Human Band albums titled MY NY recorded live on the NY subway. Perhaps also his album titled Soul which has some blues-y tunes. ❤
I clicked on this hoping that we'd finally get a recording where you could hear Genevieve... and then busted out laughing because she's totally silent again. What is this curse they're under where Genevieve gets muted in every single live Knower recording?
I was there that night and this particular spot was behind the main speakers, so she was probably much louder front of house. Great for hearing Louis here
@@krusher74I have an excellent mic and pro rig setup from B&H in Manhattan but… not trying to use it at a concert like this. Generally speaking professional photography or video equipment can be distracting, plus often infringes on the artist’s contract with the venue. Obtaining pre-approval is appropriate. So instead I use my iPhone 23 pro with no external mic. My husband or I hold the iPhone low, with the screen dark and try hard not to bother anyone. ===> The reason I recorded? I’m on the spectrum and after concerts I’m thinking “WOW! That WAS GREAT!” But I can’t actually recall a lot. I only post on RUclips because posting directly to social media for my friends to see is problematic. After a few weeks they downgrade the video quality to the point of un-viewable. I don’t know why there are 8k views!?!? I posted more videos from this concert but views are low. Totally random you’ve seen my video. ===> I believe the 2 concerts held before this one (Boston and Brooklyn) you can hear Genevieve clearly on people’s videos. Think of my videos as karaoke if that works better for you. 😊
I saw him 2 days ago with Sam Gendel. He looked like he was in heaven the entire time he was on stage. The show was fucking amazing. Don't miss those 2 together if you are lucky enough to have a chance.
Sounding fresh tight yet groovy. Brilliant.
Next week in Bulgaria omg can't wait
great to see Knower getting the love
Looking at Louis, he’s such a non traditional drummer mechanically but he’s so effective and funky. Really fun to watch.
Pleaase, explain me, I want to know what a non traditional drummer mechanicaly is 😮😢 (honest question, I dont know about drumming)

Louis Cole is my grandpa
@@SebaBuenoHaceMusiquitaJijiji As a drummer i see his technique is mechanically the same as any other good drummer.
So good! They were unreal. I think we were standing right beside you haha thanks for capturing this song, stranger!

Can't wait to see them in UK this September 👊

🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for posting!
Louis appears to be putting on some lean mass. This will impact his standing as the world's most muscular skeleton.
I can hear bass clearly I like
Love it. Thanks for uploading it!!

They remind me of Brotherly. Really like the tight syncopation in this song.
insane jamming on that

People yelled after Knower’s first song “turn up her vocals!” And they DID! This encore though - back to straining to hear her. 🙄

i fucking love when there is guitar on this song. thom is awesome
This music makes me feel funny inside ❤
Me too! Instant connection.
It seems like Sam doesn't like playing live as much as he likes recording. No wild faces.
