You'd think Gumby would've learned his lesson from the last time he tried getting a robot to do his chores. Plus, it would've been funny if that robot made the machine create more and more robots which then dominated the whole planet, and Gumby was held responsible.
@@WillCWilson I just noticed that. It's kind of unusual; I wonder if they were from earlier or later in the series production run, when Hal Smith either started voicing Prickle or near the end of the run.
Yeah. Equines are herbivores, they don't eat meat and they shouldn't either. I remembered in an earlier Gumby cartoon, "Even Stevens", Pokey did have a few hamburgers and tacos to eat.
This is the first time to feature Hal Smith.

Prickles voice seems off
Yeah. Hal Smith's Prickle voice in this and "Mason Hornet" was considerably different from the Paul Lynde-esque voice he usually used.
Prickle sounds a little different in this one. Usually Hal Smith gives Prickle more of a Paul Lynde-esque voice, but not here.
He has this same voice in "Mason Hornet".

That's fiction for ya.
This show Doesn’t have to be 100% realistic
And ponies don't normally talk or grasp items with their hoofs, but Pokey does. It's called suspension of disbelief.
