I've owned all three Pixel watches and find them strangely alluring. They strike a serene balance of form and functionality for daily use. I've always traded in each previous version for the next, and as always, the third revision of any smart device hits the sweet spot. The Pixel Watch 3 is fantastic and so far is very accurate with its new sensors and algorithms.
The most underrated feature of this watch is the sleep tracking. It can record your nap or sleep whenever. I'm a night shift worker and it helps a lot in tracking my sleep.
People confuse fitbit daily readyness with body battery. garmin have a readyness score to. same as samsungs new energy score. those have nothing to do with body battery

Only one thing though - I believe the blood oxygen sensor on this one only works when you are sleeping and measures it when you’re asleep. It does not have an on demand feature at least not yet.
I finally was able to adjust my settings on the pixel watch 2 to get 2 days on a charge, without really missing out on anything I needed it for, so it's more usable for me now. Not sure if need the larger watch face. For me its all about the internals. The original watchface is plenty big. I'd have preferred that the display area on the watchface covered more ground... But that's being picky.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. I've had my pixel watch 2 for over a year and I love it. I just feel like Google kind of forgot about it and used it as more of a placement product. And I say that because a lot of these exclusive features for pixel watch 3 were supposed to be improvements for the pixel watch 2 through AI and through beta, but Google decided last minute to just add them as software locked features to the pixel watch 3. So I'm going to hold out on my pixel watch 2 because I think it's a fine device, especially with Wear OS5
Thought u can do health connect to sync yr data to google fit? However, Garmin doesn’t. I am using health sync to sync all my data to Samsung health(ironically)

Sure, some manufacturers (like Mobvoi) might have a vanilla-like interface, but everyone now is using their own skins, which in a way makes sense because it gives the watches a consistent look, but still. Aside from that yes, the Pixel Watch 4 needs even less bezels, a sapphire screen and a second button below (or above, depending on how you use it) the crown.
My Pixel watch 3 45mm LTE lasts 2 days consistently. I use it for the basic stuff. Check a couple emails. Check text messages and reply to a few. Always on display off. Tilt to wake off. Vibrations and pings and dings off. It lasts almost twice as long as my Pixel watch 1st Gen LTE. Definitely glad I skipped the 2nd Gen and went with the 3rd with the bigger watch I've been wanting
Of course it's going to last 2 days if you have the aod and tilt to wake off. It's basically not doing anything at that point. Kind of pointless as a watch, too.

I am slowly switching away from Garmin because of this watch. The accuracy is somewhat comparable and does just fine with the runs that I do. If they offer a rugged version, with dual band GPS, and can pair with HRM straps then I will be a permanent Pixel watch user. I have been waiting on Google to release a watch like this.
I like the simplicity of the PW3 45 mm. I don't use its fitness features as those were immediately disabled, but I do like its 4 days of battery life. The watch band it came with is cheap AF, but there's always Amazon. I also have the Galaxy Watch Ultra as it appears smoother, but it's also a more powerful device with more bells and whistles. As for the accuracy of tracking features I have no clue as I find those a gimmick and are disabled immediately. Fitness and health features don't make it watch smart anyway.
i got sold my samsung galaxy watch 6 classic LTE fir the Pixel watch 3 45mm LTE. The pixel watch works so much better for me. best choice ever. I am also getting 4 Days battery with AOD off.
I have all three Pixel watches, an Garmin Epix 51mm and Galaxy 7 ultra. Left arm Pixel Watch 3 and right arm the Epix. I have compared the Garmin Epix and Polar H10 with the PW3. My HR reading on the PW3 is within 1-2 beats, compared to the Epix and H10 - very impressive. I wish Google would make a heavy duty version of the Pixel watch.
I love my Pixel Watch 3, but I’m running into a (hopefully) strange bug. When doing a walk, I’m not getting any distance information. I did a half mile walk, and it showed as 0.01 miles. Strange thing is the GPS map is completely accurate, so I know the watch is collecting the necessary data. Anyone else seeing something similar?
I'm not certain why Jaime can't see his Galaxy Watch Ultra with polarized sunglasses. I wear polarized sunglasses all day every day (long story) and I can see my Watch Ultra just fine. I do understand that some displays don't work well with polarized lenses as I've experienced that with certain LG OLED TVs, but the Watch Ultra has given me no issues.

I've owned all three, and the 3 is nice but hard to justify when you can pick up the 1 on the secondary market at a steep discount. I've been using the 1 almost since it came out, and the battery life has been about as one would expect (I wouldn't call it "atrocious"). The 3 does have a better display and battery, but 3 generations later it ought to anyway, and the overall experience isn't really that meaningfully different in my experience. (Oh, and I reviewed them both, myself.)
I agree with your views the pixel watch 3 is a great watch, more of a jack of all trades. In saying that unless your doing super high end work outs "marathons and long endurance stuff" it would be a great watch for 99% of the population and if you have a google phone 100% the best watch to pair with other Google hardware.
Im just wondering if this watch works better on non samsung phones. my daily phone was a note 10 but ever since i switch to a non Samsung phone my galaxy watch barely gets any notifications and at the end it only gets steps ane tells time.
I like the pixel watch 3 45mm, its definitely an improvement, and has some great features, but its still way behind in my opinion. I just got the watch, and it just looks and feels very basic, its overpriced, I cant say anything good about the sport band either, reminds me of a cheap fit bit band. I'm disappointed that you cant even take a blood oxygen reading any time you want, it only monitors it after 3 hours of sleep and its buried deep inside the Fitbit app, why they did this is beyond me. No ECG or blood oxygen compilations to add to your watch face for easy access either. Google are you listening?
I couldn't bear the Pixel watch 2. Battery life was barely a day, and I see nothing has changed. Also the fact that Gorilla Glass isn't durable for a watch. I jumped to the OnePlus Watch 2 and haven't looked back. 4 days of battery life without battery saver, 22mm watch bands, sapphire glass/stainless steel case. Lack of Fitbit integration sucks, but for my use, the OnePlus Watch 2 is better in every single way.

As someone that has used them all across both apple and android, I can honestly say my 45mm Pixel watch is the best watch I have worn and owned. It's better than my apple watch and feels far better than my old Samsung with great battery life to boot

I'm currently wearing the ultra I like it but the text messaging is not as seamless as I like but overall I love to watch just bored... if you are between this or a Garmin like Epix gen2 or Fenix 7(both currently on sale) here is my pros and cons and the reason why I choose Gamin: Pixel Pros: - you got more smartwatch features like taking calls, answering whatsapp, controlling your phone camera Cons: - need to charge daily - no automatic rep count for weightlifting at the gym, basically just time hb is not enough for some Garmin users - not good for swimming, surf or any similar water sport - no sapphire glass option - not good for marathon, hike or some serious extreme sports if you value smartwatch features and are just a casual athlete pixel will suit your needs, if you dislike charging this daily and love a watch who give you advance sport data, Garmin should be your best option, I hope this helps
As a long-time Garmin user, I find it to be massively overpriced. The operating system is awful, and the rep counter doesn't work with most exercises. The heart rate sensor and algorithms are much worse than those of the Pixel, and the same goes for sleep tracking. Garmin's only pro is its incredible battery life.
I used an Apple watch as wel as the Pixel watch 2. The first one is actually quite ugly, the second one was okay though Google Calendar didn't work properly on it; Calendar only showed birthdays and no other events. However, a smart watch is nothing for me and isn't even a real watch. I don't need a device that basically does the same as my phone and send me messages all the time. It can't replace proper watches like my Longines and Omega.
The first Pixel watch and the second generation looked exactly the same. So I'm not quite sure what you mean by the first one was ugly. My calendar works just fine, so you probably didn't set yours up to sync all of your calendars in the settings. I wonder if you even had the watch at all, or just borrowed one for five minutes.
So it means you’re not the intended user. If you’re just using your smartwatch for notifications then you haven’t really looked at all the things your watch could do. I’m a runner, it’s nice to be able to leave my phone and keys behind in my car because my watch can stream music and guide me on my run, while still being able to take calls and messages should anything happen. I can also lock/unlock/start my car so now I don’t need to run with keys. When I get home I can unlock my house and disarm it without taking out my phone. If I go somewhere with Apple Pay, I can just tap my watch to the kiosk. Same when I went to Disney world, just tap my watch. For flying, I link my foreflight account to my watch and have step by step directions and info right there on my watch for navigation. Like I said just sound like you didn’t know how to use your watch if you’re just using it for notifications. It’s not supposed to be a real watch more of an assistant
The only good thing about the galaxy watch is the UI it's buttery smooth Samsungs UI it's horrible slow and laggy they need to get their shit together.

Same I got mine about four months ago and I really enjoyed too. Battery life is pretty good,screen pretty good. Haven’t had any problems.

I've used golf pad and hole19 using galaxy watch - works great. Same apps are available on pixel watch 3

As someone that has used them all across both apple and android, I can honestly say my 45mm Pixel watch is the best watch I have worn and owned. It's better than my apple watch and feels far better than my old Samsung with great battery life to boot

I love my Pixel watch 2. However, I still swap to my Garmin Fenix for any serious exercise.
I'm still rocking the pixel watch 1. The woven bands are my favorite. That connector is easier than the silicone bands.

Some watchface creators try to imitate the awesome design to implement on other watches. They fail because of lacking hardware capability.

Today Friday November 8th are you still using this over your Galaxy watch ultra? I'm currently wearing the ultra I like it but the text messaging is not as seamless as I like but overall I love to watch just bored... Plus I just ordered a pixel to replace my s24 ultra I want to give Pixel another chance Love the software just didn't like the last few phones...

if you are between this or a Garmin like Epix gen2 or Fenix 7(both currently on sale) here is my pros and cons and the reason why I choose Gamin:
Pixel
Pros:
- you got more smartwatch features like taking calls, answering whatsapp, controlling your phone camera
Cons:
- need to charge daily
- no automatic rep count for weightlifting at the gym, basically just time hb is not enough for some Garmin users
- not good for swimming, surf or any similar water sport
- no sapphire glass option
- not good for marathon, hike or some serious extreme sports
if you value smartwatch features and are just a casual athlete pixel will suit your needs, if you dislike charging this daily and love a watch who give you advance sport data, Garmin should be your best option, I hope this helps

As a long-time Garmin user, I find it to be massively overpriced. The operating system is awful, and the rep counter doesn't work with most exercises. The heart rate sensor and algorithms are much worse than those of the Pixel, and the same goes for sleep tracking.
Garmin's only pro is its incredible battery life.

I used an Apple watch as wel as the Pixel watch 2. The first one is actually quite ugly, the second one was okay though Google Calendar didn't work properly on it; Calendar only showed birthdays and no other events.
However, a smart watch is nothing for me and isn't even a real watch. I don't need a device that basically does the same as my phone and send me messages all the time. It can't replace proper watches like my Longines and Omega.
The first Pixel watch and the second generation looked exactly the same. So I'm not quite sure what you mean by the first one was ugly. My calendar works just fine, so you probably didn't set yours up to sync all of your calendars in the settings. I wonder if you even had the watch at all, or just borrowed one for five minutes.
So it means you’re not the intended user. If you’re just using your smartwatch for notifications then you haven’t really looked at all the things your watch could do. I’m a runner, it’s nice to be able to leave my phone and keys behind in my car because my watch can stream music and guide me on my run, while still being able to take calls and messages should anything happen. I can also lock/unlock/start my car so now I don’t need to run with keys. When I get home I can unlock my house and disarm it without taking out my phone. If I go somewhere with Apple Pay, I can just tap my watch to the kiosk. Same when I went to Disney world, just tap my watch. For flying, I link my foreflight account to my watch and have step by step directions and info right there on my watch for navigation.
Like I said just sound like you didn’t know how to use your watch if you’re just using it for notifications. It’s not supposed to be a real watch more of an assistant
The only good thing about the galaxy watch is the UI it's buttery smooth Samsungs UI it's horrible slow and laggy they need to get their shit together.

I don't know if I can trust Google to do a smartwatch after owning some of the earlier iterations. They were practically useless.
Any watch that you need to recharge every day or two is a failure to humanity.

@@MrRayquaza22 no. It's because watches like the amazefit gtr 4 can go 10 plus days without charging the battery, and they are also full on GPS watches. The amaze fit also costs half of what this watch costs. No one wants to charge a watch everyday.

@@GrizzleGearit’s also very inaccurate documented by many youtubers don’t trust that gps or heart rate data and the smartwatches that have great battery life typically have crappy smart watch features not much outside of music control and notifications and it has no app support at all. Battery life is easier to achieve when you have no actual apps running
I'm looking for a replacement for my amazefit gtr4 gps watch. Battery lasts 10+ days easily. This thing lasts 2 days? Hell no! This watch is useless who wants to charge a watch everyday?
The Pixel Watch still isn't quite at the level of the Galaxy watches, but I'm still impressed with it.
