I am enjoying "The Encore", but I would have preferred this version. Something feels more....authentic..? about it. Also, would have loved seeing Melody and D.Woods as part of the cast.

Now, this show is on BET called the encore. But with a different cast, and I just noticed how they Dropped D woods for Aubrey. Kiely is still on the show, though. And Shamari is still on the show. And the twins and boy, no one likes the twins on the show. But y'all make sure to check it out.
I feel like this group would’ve blended better than the Encore cast because they are closer in age and similar styles of music. I love 702 and total but their Styles are different from these ladies. And I prefer D woods over Aubrey.
Everytime I see clips I ask why wasn't this greenlit then I remember the musical groups involved, there's no way across Danity Kane, Blaque, Destiny's Child, 3LW, and the PussyCat Dolls were the industry going to allow all of that tea out even for....especially for a reality show.

It's now called BET presents The Encore but now it has several extra females. They got rid of D. Woods and added Aubrey O'Day instead from Danity Kane; got rid of Farrah & Melody and replaced them with Lemisha & Irish from 702 & added Pam from Total . The Cherish Twins are still there, along with Shamari from Blaque and Kiely from Cheetah Girls/3LW. Unfortunately, Lemisha & Irish are having vocal troubles & choreography challenges from the first episode. They have to create an album in 30 days and perform some or all of the songs, too. Way too many females for a girl group so it will definitely prove interesting.
I just thought about it. You have to get clearance from everyone mentioned before anything airs. 9x out of 10 people said that they'd get sued for defamation of character so the networks quickly said no.
