We were in Wayne for their Memorial Day parade, it was super buggy that way too! I’m glad you all had a nice weekend 😊

We aren't doing a garden this year because we have to move :( but last year we did really well with peas & potatoes and we had planted those for the first time :)

Don't forget the greenhouse if you want it.

Doesn’t look like it’s in the cards this year BUT something I would love to do in the next couple of years!

Dill and parsley are great for butterfly larvae. When you can, do a couple arbors. One for grapes and one for either Passiflora incarnata or Peaches & Cream Honeysuckle Vine for the hummingbirds. Do Not plant trumpet honeysuckle. I've found native flora gardens to be less work. Veggie gardens are fine but the labor (no it's not free) and upfront costs almost cancel out the rewards. Have fun, next year you'll spend most of your time chasing your son!!

Oh I would definitely love to do arbors for sure!! I’ll keep all of this in mind as well, I definitely want to add something new each year! Definitely going to have my hands full once this little guy is mobile lol, if he’s anything like his dad was we’re gonna be in for it!

We made the mistake of going to the Red Robin in Scarborough (fail) and attempted to drive through the pier area at OOB. OH MY GOSH that was a stupid idea. Your weekend looked fun and productive! This will be our first summer in Maine and we had to establish a garden at our new house. My gardens are alway chaotic but I love planting anyway 😃

Oh nooo yeah it’s such a congested area by the pier! We always come in the back way and park at Capt. Mike’s lot (next to Pirates Cove Mini Golf) and walk in. But it’s always so busy down there either way! And haha my garden is also already chaotic, I have a random carrot growing where the cukes are… should make for an interesting season 😂
