Young Do is one of those guys for me that at first sight I didn't find him that attractive. To be honest, I was really scared I would be distracted by how unattractive I thought he was. BUT, before I get any hate for my own opinion, he really grew on me! I wouldn't say that I find him to be the most attractive man on earth, but he is hella sexy :) I guess I just had to get used to him. He has a really unique charm :)

Everything about this drama is amazing, the cast, the fact that they used all the typical k drama plots all in one drama without making it boring and giving a refreshing feel, the eye candy. My god, this drama was just fantastic.

& to answer your question, I also find myself liking Young Do. I think he's an intriguing and interesting character. The reason why the girl cries is because is a sad love story . There is a lot of things envolved on this drama, as social life, bullying on a rich school , she is frighten poor girl. Her performance on this drama is fabulous. The rich guy loves a poor girl and we all know it brings family problems. So, she has to act as she is shy and nervous about it all, specialy that she also loves him. Love this movie so much and keep watching it on 2021.

You guys are sorta twisted what do you mean by trying his best.... Do you not know how he started out could you not read in depth of how it was going to end for him or did you want to stay biased for him he was playing the bad and 3rd wheel at the same time what did you expect from him ....HE was not destined to get the girl kim tan had to fight just to breath the same air as her. Dad wanted to control him, brother hated him for being born, fiance...Omg didn't like him till he had fallen in love with Eun Sang, and mother felt bad that she had him and had to hide that she was his mother to the world, Young Do accused him of being the reason why he couldn't meet his mother for the last time then tried to control him and take his love .......NOW who had the struggle Young Do? I think not he was only good at points for being the bad boy and what finding out he loved eun sang oh please as if he had the chance at the beginning....As i remember he was at the end "not even a friend to eun sang, and was told to treat her like a stranger" she also said "Next time you find a girl you like be nice to her and treat right" Kim tan fought for everything Young Do didn't even know him self. Kim Tan Win....BTW sorry for the paragraph/Essay.

Lol, I see you like bad boys. I personally don't find Woo Bin all that handsome. There are a lot better looking actor/models out there to me that I've seen. His acting here however was REALLY good. He has been a very good actor in whatever I've seen him play.
Most women prefer guys that do NOT threaten them, trip them, or make their lives difficult. Most prefer guys that are nice to them, help them, and try to protect them. Having been the recipient of attention like Young Do in high school... it wasn't pleasant and I did not end up liking the guy back either.
Personally I would have chosen neither of them... I would have fallen for Yoon Chang-Young or Lee Hyo-shin. Both are more relaxed and mature. But of the two major characters,,, I preferred Tan's behavior.
In your real life, just remember...there's a reason they are called bad. If they say they are bad...believe them, they are. Guys will try to live up to the way they see themselves or want to be...good or bad. No man wants to be known or treated as a door mat, but a good hearted guy is one that at his core can be trusted. Give me a slightly rusty, Boyscout, good hearted guy that treats me well and all the things that make him unique and even uncool, become lovable in my eyes. :) You can keep Young Do and those like him until they find their hearts and reform. They'll only make you cry in the end otherwise. :)

I love this video ^-^ And I love Young Do! I mean, I hated him at the beginning, but I totally fell for him and his character change. I was so sad that he, after becoming such a .... not nice, but nice... Nice in a certain way!! .... after becoming such a guy and changing and everything and oh my god - still not having a chance. That just breaks my heart. But I just wanted her to end up with Kim Tan.
It's heartbreaking when they make you love the second lead and hate the main or just not like him and she ends up with the main lead asshole. But it's just as much heartbreaking when you love both main and second lead. You might wish for her to end up with the main lead, but still not let the second lead be disappointed.

OMG this is sooo beautiful!! I totally ship Young Do too... what I didn't liked in this drama is that the second guy is more interesting than the main guy, and he had better character development. I love dramas because they usually do the bad boy who gets the girl and the good guy who doesn't, it's a bit cliché but it's interesting to watch... young do was such a perfect character, EXACTLY how I love them, tortured bad boy, sarcastic, cold but warm inside, but NO he don''t get the girl WTF!? It was the reason why I started watching dramas because in the US shows most of the times the cool/bad(boy) guy doesn't get the girl what i've always hated, but koreans know what the public want, but not in this drama what is annoying because it would have been soo fucking good...
