@@HB448 not if the spring gives enough distance per stride. Furthermore, a flat foot leads to improper biomechanics in the knee and hip which also decreases propulsion from the entire kinetic chain.
@@michaeljordan215 but he isn’t saying keep your heel on the floor just spread your foot flat so your using the full force of all your foot muscles through each step or “pulse” as he might put it

Flatter feet will have less spring. I don't think less spring leads to faster running.
Infact, in the same thought. Having less spring is more likely to lead to injury.
