Such a great era with iconic singers that were instantly recognizable. Sad that most of them are gone now. It's hard to make out, but it looks like it says Butthole Surfers on his chest. I guess he was either trying to promote them or it was maybe an inside joke, not sure.

In some cases Robert DeLeo used an additional acoustic guitar on a guitar stand (Lounge Fly, for example), or Scott has picked up a guitar to strum a chord or two (Bipolar Bear). Dean DeLeo has said that the band is now exploring 2-guitar performances with Jeff on guitar as well as vocals. Some songs were never played live, though. Here they are: From Core (1992): Every song off this album was performed live. Also, there are (bootleg) recordings available of all of them. Songs not performed after the 1992/1993 Core-tour are: No Memory (usually as intro to 'Sin' on the Core tour), Naked Sunday, Wet My Bed and Where The River Goes. From Purple (1994): Every song off this album was performed live. Again, there are recordings available of all of them. From Tiny Music... Songs From the Vatican Gift Shop (1996): Press Play, Art School Girl, Adhesive and Ride The Cliché were never performed live. And So I Know was only performed a couple of times during the 1996 tour. Songs not performed after the 1996/1997 tour are: Pop's Love Suicide and Daisy. From No.4 (1999): Pruno, Church On Tuesday, Glide and MC5 were never performed live. I Got You was performed live for the first and only time on April 16, 2002. Heaven & Hot Rods has only been played two times in concert -- on June 6, 2000 and on October 11, 2001 -- until it was added to the set list for STP's 2010 tour. Songs not performed after the 2000 No.4-tour are: No Way Out, Sex & Violence and Atlanta. There are no reported recordings of I Got You available. From Shangri-LA DEE DA (2001): Dumb Love, Hello It's Late, Transmissions From A Lonely Room and A Song For Sleeping were never performed live. Bi-Polar Bear was played first on October 11, 2001. It was then never performed for almost 10 years. Regeneration and Long Way Home were only performed live twice. Black Again was performed only as an acoustic song twice in 2001. Then, in an unexpected turn of events, STP added an electric version to their set list in 2012. A live recording of Long Way Home is available from August 4, 2001 (Rolling Rock 2.0), of Regeneration from July 10, 2001(MuchMusic Canada) and there's an acoustic version available of Black Again from October 22, 2001 (taken from the Y100 Sonic Session in Philadelphia). From Stone Temple Pilots (2010): Take A Load Off, Hazy Daze, Peacoat, Fast As I Can, First Kiss On Mars and Maver were never performed live by Stone Temple Pilots. Hazy Daze was rehearsed in 2010 for the band's concerts in Europe. According to their tour manager at the time, there was a 50% chance the song would end up on the set list of their show in London, but in the end it was never performed live.
