Well there you have it folks, I fought tooth and nail to find out absolutely everything I could about a barely significant children's musical.
One of life's greatest achievements
Hi
you did a good job. Keep up the great work Chad!
It's a great video!!!
I think you should search Chadtronic again on ROBLOX.
This is amazing, all those props and merch being left in that theater is mind blowing! Hopefully they get officially rescued eventually. This is my new favorite video of yours, and I gotta find one of those light up wands someday.
oh hey patmac, was here when there was no likes or comments
I was thinking the same exact thing, happy to see you here Patmac!
Good to see your keeping up on the ever lasting lore of plushies and lost media
Hey PatMac! Didn’t know you were a fan of Chadtronic. Maybe you can make a video about this topic someday?
pls collab together
This reminds me of the sonic statue in the middle of the Japan's countryside which was actually restored recently. Hopefully something like that could happen to these props. Would love to see a constume or two on display in a Pokémon centre somewhere.
You know what sonic statue hadn't been restored yet? The sega world on of him and Sally in that 1 junkyard
Omg beaver you watch chadtronic?!
No way!! The gaming beaver I did not know you seen this channel that is so awesome!!!!
*Yes, the costumes. We need them to be restored.*
Beaver!
We need to find a way to recover and restore those props for historical reasons. Maybe use them as a special exhibit in either a video game or Broadway museum!
Maybe not a broadway museum, but a video game museum would be a great spot for this weird and wacky musical.
MLGOwenWilson what do you mean? bill-less, 2 inch-of-dust-caked Golduck would look great in any museum...
@@PokemonMasterNick I'm just saying realistically, it probably wouldn't go in a broadway museum.
Imma gonna go ahead and r/woooosh myself
Yes
There's just something so sad and eerie about seeing all those decaying puppets in that abandoned theatre... *Shudders*
Especially 17:02
I feel uncomfortable thinking about a withered pikachu puppet with a eye missing
To this day those pupets are decaying. Needing help...............somewhere
*lavender town theme starts playing*
@@wahoo. I was legit listening to that song as you commented, that's spooky af dude.
That abandoned theater footage is the most depressing round of Who’s That Pokémon? I’ve ever played.
Ok u got the script and know where the props are
Put on a live showing of pokemon live
"LADIES AND FRICKS! WELCOME TO...POKEMON LIVE!"
oh god we need this
Naw I might do it
A vr chat one could work, idk about using props that are 20 years old and probably the home of hundreds of bugs.
Using such worn down props would probably make for a creepier show than that one Spanish show
The abandoned pokemon live warehouse looks like a creepypasta
Abandoned By -Disney- Nintendo.
Exactly..gave me chills
It seems like a Mimikyu could appear at any second.
David Dalziel or a Gengar. It’s really chilling.
"This had to have been a weird part of the actors careers"
Fun fact, Jesse's actor Andrew Rannells is one of the most popular well known Broadway actors in modern day now, starring in shows like Falsettos and Book of Morman, and cites this show as one of the worst things hes done.
Lmao yeah in his autobiography apparently at one point during the tour he sat backstage and cried with another cast member. Cant blame them honestly 😔✋
@@sofiaacosta4768 Wish we could hug them, but mileage...and the Outbreak.
@@dubuyajay9964 smh yeah, honestly I hope none of them remember any of that show too well bc that's enough to plague someone for the rest of their life 😬😬
@brandon roberts james but yeah that's amazing
Do you mean James? Wasn't Jesse played as a woman since she's female anyway?
There’s a good chance that this theatre was being paid for storage of the props while the production company was planning the next steps for the show. Once they decided they wouldn’t do a new tour they probably sold the show as a package to other international groups and when they left those props, since they were still owned by the Pokémon company the theatre storing them didn’t have the right to discard of them. Then they were just forgotten in the confusion of it being shipped to so many countries
the fact the mystery has somewhat been solved it was saddening to see all those props lay there in decay , and those urban explorers fricking around with them really ticked me off
I bet someone is going to identify the theater and steal them. I hope that they can be (legally) moved to a safe location so they can be cleaned up and protected

It breaks my heart to see the pokemon puppets that I desperately wanted as a little girl being abandoned and left to rot. Going to pokemon live with my crush and best friend at the time was such a happy moment for me. I left a comment before I watched. I was one of those asshole kids who took apart the lightsabers. My friend and I just were flashing each other during the show. I remember Misty having a song with all sorts of water pokemon and it was a song pining for Ash. Also I think there was some moments with Delia Ketchum and Giovonni that hinted at some sort of romantic tension between them? My memory is super fuzzy but dang that really breaks my heart. I desperately wanted the Vaporeon puppet from the Misty song after the show. I wish I hadn't been a kid and could have gone to the people at Radio City and like bribed them to give me a puppet? I dunno I just feel like a tummy full of regret seeing the puppets the way they are in this video.
There are puppet making tutorials on YT if you like to make stuff and wanna get that dedicated. Just sayin'.
I honestly would have also loved a giant vaporeon puppet, and while I never saw the show and I can’t help getting you the puppet I do at least know Misty’s confession song was released on the 2.B.A Master cd. So that’s pretty cool that’s one of the few relics from the live that made it into the hands of the public.
Looks like the Pokemon in the theater all became Ghost Types.
Now I wanna see a ghost type Pokémon with a theater motif.

Does that mean we'll see Robert Downey Jr. play as Chadtronic?
@chadtronic you NEED to go to that place in canada and get a puppet (pikachu mabye), clean and restore it and keep it with your (god mode) collection

I’d love to see talk about another cursed show, Phineas and Ferb Live
and I thought the Spanish Pokemon Live was terrifying enough.
3D Phineas
Was that a thing?!!
Plze tell me it's does not exist...
Oh crap, it DOES!!!!
Wow, I was curious on how this mystery would be concluded. I’m impressed with your findings. I wish those Pokemon props ended up in a better place like in a video game museum or a pop culture theatre musuem. It would be really cool to see the props fully on display and cleaned up. I’ll stay tuned to your Twitch, I’d like to watch the Dubai version of Pokemon Live!
Absolutely! You’d think at least that they would have sold the props to interested fans. Maybe there are some pieces in private collections
The footage of the dude finding the Pokémon props is both eerie and amazing at the same time
*Most painful part was seeing the props being disrespected like that*
It would’ve been cool to own 1 of the wands that were abandoned
@@shaide5483 Too risky. Even though stuff like that is left abandoned they're still property of whoever owns the theater at the moment. So it's considered theft and if the owner cared enough you could get in trouble.
I'm worried. His second video shows what happened after people visited, and the goldduck is torn in half at this point. Several of them are moved and more damaged
Maybe mice or rats found them delicious
Man....they should put those puppets in a museum or something, they’re probably just going to be scrapped if not
Pokemon Live?
*Inhales pipe*
now thats a name I haven't heard in a while
Obi-Wan Ketchum. Now, there's a name I haven't heard in a long time.
I was among those who actually saw the show in person. I actually forgot about the light saber-like toys, or any of the souvenirs that were sold at the time.
I do vaguely remember certain parts here and there, and the overall story of the show. It's something to see that there were some props that were abandoned from the show that I most likely saw myself.
Despite what the critics thought of it, I enjoyed it for what it was. Hopefully one day those props would be cleaned up and restored as much as possible so it can be put in place like a museum rather than to continue to decay and collect dust in an abandoned theater.
Wow!!!!

The whole thing was INSANE. Trust me.

Shopping malls everywhere got filled every so often with rare and one-time event Pokemon -
My brother got Mew in the first UK national event! When his cartridge got corrupted, it only existed on our copy of Pokemon stadium. A few years later, that cart’s memory wiped. Things like these theatre shows, and game data, are the types of artefacts which are the hardest to conserve.
My god where is this theater I wanna grab a frickin Pikachu costume
I was so happy when my parents brought my brother and I to see Pokemon Live in New York when we were little. It was a huge surprise when they showed us the tickets. You thought Jesus returned to the Earth from how happy I was.
"We all live in Pokemon world..." It's sad I never had any merch from it or a released video/DVD to relive the Live musical memories. I did take a few pieces of confetti back that rained down from the ceiling from it though.
SOMEONE NEEDS TO GO GET THOSE ABANDONED PUPPETS AND PROPS, WHAT THE FRICK!

I looked at that Spanish one and in the middle they played a Digimon advert. A Digimon advert in the middle of their Pokemon Live.
"Pokemon. Digimon? Same thing right? They won't know the difference."
The moment we've all been waiting for, more important than the Krabby Patty secret formula. Even Phineas and Ferb was turned into a stage show. Nothing is safe
Barney the dinosaur and Noddy even have stage shows as well. Before Pokémon Live launched internationally, there were live shows in japan featuring classical magical girls Sally the Witch and Akko Chan. Dragon Ball GT had a live show as well.

My question of where the puppets are now gets it's answer- and with my favorite Wartortle being among them no less!
It's so sad seeing the props in such decay, you can tell the foam is starting to wear down over the years. Golduck especially seems to be taking the brunt of it. I hope they can be properly preserved and restored, and not left for looters or unknowing people to toss out!

The guy talking to Mewtwo with "I know you are, but what am I?," I think that was trying to reference Mewtwo's psychic powers (telepathy)...or maybe I'm giving too much credit.
I am afraid to say, those props are going to be destroyed. Either by the owner of the abandoned theater due to "explorers" coming for them, or by the official prop owners if they are made aware of this. I think your best bet is to contact the theater owner with a money offer to take those props off their hands. No one can say no to having their junk be bought off of them. Then it becomes the question, are they too far gone to be restored? Is it worth it to restore them? Did you just pay for moldy puppets that are a hazard more than anything?
Edit: A museum would also not take those... which museum? That super famous pokemon museum?

Wow thats an incredible find! I would love to see these in a public display or documented somehow. Im also very concerned about the preservation of these. Its neat that someone was able to give us a look, but its also disheartening to see others play around with them and do who knows what. That gold duck looked in really bad shape. It was really cool to see that old theater. I wish the owners luck in there efforts of restoring it. But yeah, I just hope these props go to a good place and treated well. Big thanks to that person for sharing that and one of the producers for sharing there part.

Chad is the reason my friends and I suffered through watching that musical. I honestly enjoyed the experience with my friends more than the musical itself. Glad to see we have some sort of conclusion.
This is the Pokémon equivalent to The Star Wars Holiday Special.

They should totally give Chadtronic a prop from the show
even though I don’t like the props being destroyed or messed with, it was pretty funny when they were on the chairs with all the lightsabers
I would donate to this. I remember this being advertised when I was a kid and I was sad I never got to see it.
To know that the people just threw them in an abandoned theatre is so sad to me. People probably spent months out of their lives working on those props, and they're really well done too! They were approved by the Pokémon company after all. These props deserve to be restored and kept for fans.
Chad: *uploads*

Japan needed to have their own version of Pokemon Live.
Therefore it would have mostly stayed within the license holders of Nintendo.
Chad: professor oak and Ash ketchum's mum didn't show up in the show
Everyone: We all know where they were.....
The abandoned theatre would make an interesting location in a Pokémon game
I sincerely hope those props are rescued and reserved somewhere safe. What an absolutely bizarre finding, and a fantastic one too! I love stuff stuff like this!
The fact they're still in tact amazes me to be honest, i kind of want one

A fan sent you the script for Pokémon Live? Well forget "find Pokémon Live", let's make Pokémon Live! Rent a stage, design costumes and props, we don't need the old footage! (we'll probably never get it anyway, so let's take matters into our own hands!)
or we can use the old props that were abandoned
Funky
Hopefully something is done with them. If the Pokémon Company wants them for a display or something, they'll likely go there. If not then they *might* be auctioned off. We'll need any costumes we can get :)
I would pay to see someone do this.
We can all get permission from the company, and also include some newer pokemon!
My heart breaks because I'm such a huge fan of Pokemon and have always wondered about Pokemon Live. I'm actually a theatre major and I'm obsessed with the idea of video games being stage productions. What a more perfect addition to a Pokemon collection is having one of the stage puppets omg. T_T
