I've been to St. Petersburg in 2016. It is the most beautiful and impressive city I've ever seen and this video evoked me a lot of memories. I hope that one day I can go to Russia again and speak fluent Russian at that time.

i have heard soo much about the Winter Palace... its beautiful...i didnt realize it was actually that massive though...
I still remember my favorite day in school and that was when we learned about Russia in world history.. I think i was so happy that class, that i over payed attention and didnt do to good on the test... oops...

Biker Heaven , a pigeon in Russian is "голубь" and "голубой" means light blue.
There's gray and white pigeon in Russia too. Until 1991 pigeons were bred by breeders in dovecotes located in almost every districts but since the fall of Soviet Union this facilities were neglected, pigeons got free and all species started mixing up on the street until the blue phenotype got dominant.

It was a wonderful trip Saint Petersburgo.
Saint Petersburg seems to be a very beautiful city! The metro is much cleaner than in Paris! The famous Hermitage museum, I would like to avoid it but when I see the queue, I despair lol. St Isaac's Cathedral is sumptuous :)
I didn't think the Neva was so big :) When will we get a presentation of the city of Samara? I like Preston ^^ Big fan of trains, I love it when you visit model making! Realism is breathtaking! Spaciba Daria for what a night shot too :)
Very big fan of trains, and more specifically of high speed trains, I did not know about the existence of Sapsan (thanks for the discovery)!

I visited Russia for the first time in April this year. Wow just wow. Eating dinner and drinking Vodka with an Armenian/Russian family in an old style soviet apartment is an experience I’ll never forget

I was in St Petersburg for too few days in September and went to Moscow and back on the fabulous Sapsan. Broke my heart to come home.

I love these Russian everyday videos. During next June I'll travel from Finland to Novosibirsk, and back, by train. The River Volga and Lake Baikal are must-see, and many cities on the way. There is not much time to learn Russian. The start is on next week.

The only Russian city I had seen previously was Vladivostok with Simon Reeves and it seemed a bit Wild West.

The line to the ermitage is small, compared to the days of the world cup. Still worth the wait. Also St ISaac cathedral is beautiful!
