Steph Curry The G.O.A.T I don't think she was even speaking from a negative tone at all. sounds like she cares for kanye and wants him to be the creative force he once was. in today's society black men don't even see when our women actually give a damn. one of the many reasons we are the way we are as a people today.
Sis is sharp as a knife. Wow. And she said what I had always thought, "what do Kim and Kanye really talk about?!?" If you've seen any of his older interviews the man is like a mad scientist. I believe their relationship is a business deal.
These comments are ugly lmao. She's making perfect sense and in my opinion she doesn't sound like an angry black girl. Y'all mad cause she called Kim a white girl? lmaoooo that's how she's seen though! A privileged white girl, a brand, the Kardashian brand at that! Idk Kayne was def someone to look up to, a black man who spoke the truth, not anymore though. That's all she's saying.
Does it matter that she's white? For me the thing that matters is that he seems to have lost his soul now that he's with his women. She might be intellectual but she doesn't appear to be. Where's the artist that Kanye once was? And who is this lady that she can make him forget about his race?
I see a consistent irony that has made its way into a lot of these comments. Some of yo rare mad because of what she's say but it's really what KANYE said in his music. The rhetoric she is using comes from HIS CONTENT. Then, she spends nearly 14 minutes to explain where she's getting this information (the source himself) and some of you still do not have the mental capacity to see that her problem isn't with race, it's with hypocrisy and the sub par standard of black men appreciating black women....i.e., you black men on here calling her a bitch. She's an artist, a poet that addresses issues that SHE cares about and feel is relevant in today's society and culture and an influential artist to the black community falls under just that. I recommend taking an analytical thinking class for some of you because the thought process just isn't there.
I honestly don't understand why people would dislike this. She's stating HER opinion. A lot of this is what we, as black women feel as well. People say black women don't love themselves because they get weaves, plastic surgery to snatch their waists and fill out their butts, but the RAW honest truth is that black men don't love us anymore. After centuries of 'holding them down' and giving them love and encouragement, standing in the background and letting them shine, they don't love us anymore. When we decided that the relationship was going to be 50/50 and that since we do just as much work if not more than we deserve to have a say so in our own homes they couldn't take it. No, HIS woman will stand in the back, make his food, speak when spoken to, bear and care for his children and give him pleasure when he needs it. Black women have always taught their daughters to be strong and be that backbone for their men but never get taken advantage of either and that the woman is equal to man, whereas white women teach their daughters to be submissive which is all that man could ask for. Then we were tossed to the side. Because Becky was the prize now. To get our black men back we straightened our naps, added extensions lightened our skin. But then Becky realized there was always something about a black woman that black men still loved that they couldn't use makeup to create so they plumped their lips and their asses now she's the total package. We don't have enough cash stashed to get surgery so we do the cheap thing and get shots all in the name of getting our men back. Our unappreciative men back. Our undeserving men back. A few will die but we gotta compete with Becky with the good hair right? (I really didn't mean to write this much but it started flowing sorry)
We still love you black Sista. We as a people have been traumatized. When we argue with each other and fingerpoint our wounds never heal. We as a people suffer from post traumatic slave syndrome. Since we sailed over to this continent the black family has been in chaos. A mans greatest responsibility is protecting his wife and family. slavery made it so a black man could not do what we are programmed to do. After slavery the black family did well for sometime. However, the powers that be put a stop to that because white supremacy cant flourish with strong black families. Its no coincidence our demise has been designed. They took the black man out of the home which did nothing but hurt the black women and the black children.( they took the black man out the home with government assistance, prison, poverty, unemployment, drugs, alcohol, etc) This has lead to our black children to grow up without positive black males in the home and it has contributed to the black women feeling like she can't depend on a black man. Then the media puts so many negative stereotypes of black (men)people on tv that we begin to think ignorance is our culture. They label us as lazy, unintelligent, thugs, thieves, gangstas, sexually reckless, etc and the media goes out of their way everyday to continue to show us these images. The only way our children believe they will be great is if they are rappers or athletes. nobody's checking for the kid with the 4.0 GPA but if he can shoot the ball out the gym he is the most popular kid in the city. There are very few positive,(if any) depictions of strong black families on tv. i say that to say this. We love you black Sista. many of us are lost but we are awakening. us as black men know we must do better but it aint all our fault, nor is it all the black womens fault. we must heal together and embrace each other with understanding #makeblackfamiliesgreatagain
oh what nonsense how did you women come up with this nonsense. centuries of holding black men down when where. sista here's the truth you couldn't hold us down even if you wanted to. On the plantation you couldn't save black men from being castrated and the black man couldn't save you from being raped we were victims. Under jim crow you couldn't stop the lynchings. Black men don't blame black women for american history. I would advise you to let go of feminism it is a diversion. You saw white women voted for Trump they are not your sisters there is no sisterhood.
niansillabffs but this woman doesn't even like men, but wants to dictate who men are supposed to be with? That's what I dislike about it. Not only that, but make a poem about it.
when she speaks on kanye being lost, or just black men in general being lost, i really think her poem came from a place of love and worrying about kanye both as the cultural figure and as a person she knew. i love when she moves away from this poem being about kanye and her, to how kanye's actions (because he's a cultural figure) reverberate in the public consciousness,, great interview!
Black people put way too much stock in our athletes and performers, we should continue taking pride in and respecting their prowess, but we should also do the same for our scientists, intellectuals, etc. We lack people in these fields, especially black Americans because we don't value it like we should.
Bejīta Tupac was a great rapper, charismatic, and had something to say about the black condition, but you can see from his music and his life choices that he was a conflicted man and so was his messages.
silence in. the even black But... As flawed as that message was it was far more potent and wide spread throughout his music. Not to mention Tupac actually held peace rallies, in real life between the bloods and Crips. I see your point though. All I'm trying to say is that if there are rappers to even consider the possibility of being real leaders (not that one should do so), there are vastly superior options to Kanye. Tupac, understandable. Dead Prez, understandable. Loaded Lux, understandable. Kanye???😕😕😕
Had no issues with what she said. I totally agree. Black men need to acknowledge it more. And engage in dialogue to push the conversation as well as whats except able forward
MrCbwTV yeah brother exactly shes been mislead by his lyrics bro since childhood and i think she put unrealistic expectations on the brother to be honest but shes only being opinionated and her perception can only be respected for what it is and thats her perception no disrespect to her at all, for some people she maybe waisting way to much energy on talking about it but when you think about it its that same energy that helped her write it😂😂😂 anything that can make a writer cry or make them mad watch out because they can create a hit out of the emotion the reason i know is because im a writer .☺☺☺peace
If u have to write a comment like this, then even you see that it is obvious that "that" is an issue. I just laugh at how cool y'all try to be, all jazzy n shit, until we piss y'all off and u still try to uphold that jazzy feel, but look like the one that has to be taken for the team.
First things first, its true Kanye grew up in the hood. But he was never of the hood. He's had to defend his art from people in his early career in the hood that tried to stop him. I'm sick of people painting him like his early albums were all about him being an black activist. Kanye's only ever tried to be himself, and his subject matter in TCD and LR was a reflection of his own reality. Yes he communicated ideas about that lifestyle, but when he showed his interest in designer clothing and fashion in The College Dropout and subject matter about things other than the 'hood' no one talks about that. When he talked about fame and the misconceptions of being a celebrity in MBDTF, that was his reality at the time. Just like the TLOP is about his family life and children. No Kanye is not looking for approval from white people or the hood, the only approval he cares about his from his family (especially his late mother). Let the man be himself like he always has, if you don't like his music that's fine, if you don't like him that's okay as well. But Im sick and tired of people saying he lost his way and sold out to white people when hes only ever been Kanye.
Kristmaz808 😂😂😂 they're deep in it. I can even find the rationale in these comments. She literally broke everything down and they still don't understand.
Jerome Beck ww latino women are gorgeous i would say he was a fool if he didnt humans arw beautiful, its not the race its the character, i mean i duno kim but w.e i believe Kanye became top 1% and just wanted a trophy. I do not idolize people. Freewill is very real.
RBG RBG armenian ain't white, then arabs should also be classified as whites and if you really think so then you guys are black... there some teally lightskin "blacks" in USA that are whiter than indians and real africans
I feel like this is the same view of white when they see black people. You don't know their nationality until they open their mouth and speak in their native language or tell you.
I love the sound of voice. She has a presence about that reminds me Maya Angelou. Like I could listen to her stories for hours. I feel the gravity of her words.
Stop worshiping false idols sister. Voice your opinion loudly, but remember man is flawed. If you respect who he used to be, you have to respect who he is now. His choice to change his voice is his and his alone. Change is inevitable and unfortunately undefeated. Follow and stand on your principles. Not the man preaching those principles.
Superstar Fresh I agree. Kanye is grown he can do what he wants. WE DONT KNOW THESE PEOPLE. we need to take the music and move on. he is a lil bit of a sell out but I dont take it personally. *Kanye shrug
Malia Leonard Understood. Yeah we gotta get out of the whole label thing when it comes to artistic people. Us creative types tend to change and change often. Especially artist who pull from an emotional place. We all know emotions change. So if an artist is driven by emotion to create... those creations will often change. I've gotten to the point now that if an artist pulls a Too Short or Pastor Troy and stays in his / her lane... I am shocked.
Kanye isn't 1 dimensional. He's not just one side. He sees it all and speaks on what he chooses. He tried battling racism and realized he can't keep fighting the same battle. So he switched it up. He's gonna make it work to his advantage. He's using white people to sell his shit like they use us to sell their shit. He's not stupid or lost. He's highly intelligent he just ain't turning up anymore like he used to. He's playing this game on mute a bit. But you gotta watch his interviews and understand he is always gonna come out on top.
I was introduced to this powerhouse of a black woman today as I was doing my dissertation and was taking a break. I already knew. That this is not Kanye. I would like to. Thank you Jasmine I am here right with you Thank you
I'm not the biggest Kim K fan but the chick knows how to build a brand. Kanye is winning because not only will his music be the subject of discussion long after he is gone, but his life will too. Like it or not, but Kim K has opened doors for him that just rapper Kanye could not open on his own. Like Nino Brown said, "This is about greed. It's the American way"
This is so true she doesn't bare a fragment of his intellect ... you can clearly see that on their show he just looks at her dumbfounded ??? Like what did she just say ...marrying into the Kardashian brand was definitely a strategic move.
This is truly mind boggling. How on earth can any halfway intelligent black person listen to Kanye's _College Dropout_ and come away with even the slightest thought of him being a black leader or a legitimate leader of any kind at all, to be taken seriously?
I really think that some of what she says makes sense. I think that it is a person's choice on what battles they choose to fight. The struggle with Kanye in my opinion is that spiritually he has been fighting a battle since his mom died. She really was his humble reminder and she seemed to be the only reason he was always careful about his choice in words and probably every other choice he made before her passing. I don't think it matters who you marry. We have to ask ourselves why we need someone to represent for us instead of representing ourselves. She is amazing and I love the poem but we all need to understand that the only individual we are ultimately in control of is ourselves. So believe in you and don't put these public figures, rappers, singers and actors too high on a pedestal because they have struggles, they are human and they will at some point let you down. Why because their life is viewed through their eyes and your looking at theirs with very limited vision. What you see is what you are allowed to see. Not saying that so you feel sorry for them just a different perspective as to why he may be struggling so hard right now.
She's just saying that Kanye is being hypocritical . Yes he's changed but he made his come up on being this "conscious" rapper now he's backing up political figures like trump I mean she's just stating facts.
She's talented but it's still celebrity worship at the end of the day.. people absolutely WORSHIP individuals they don't even know.. religiously.. it's crazy.. literally
Isn't it hypocritical for her to bash Kanye for marrying a white women when she's gay? I mean she has left the black man for something other so why is it not okay for Kanye to choose something other than the black woman?
I will be glad when we as a people will be free to be what we want. when we can be individuals and not feel guilty for not taking on all the causes of an entire race of people. We put our own people in the chains of our expectations and worship the cult of personality.
I really respect her for this messages. It's crazy how she was really spitting facts. I grew up listing to Kanye West. And so much have change in him. Since he lost his Mom, that's the truth. He is not crazy, he is hurt. He needs to seek therapy
I don't understand how you don't like someone you don't know. She doesn't know Kim k. And why can't he love who he wants to love. No matter if the the kids would be dark as night or light as white they would still be beautiful. I understand what she saying about him mocking. But why hate when someone found love maybe he didn't except to love who he loves it just happens #notonlywhitepplareracist
I heard Jasmine's words, and I completely understand and soaked them in. What makes it tough for me is as a strong proud Mexican woman I'm in love, married to, and had a child with a white man. He and his family love and respect me and my culture. He treats me like a queen even though we're from different walks of life. He supports my educational journey by working himself to the bone. So, when Jasmine goes in on white privilege and the prize mentality I can't agree with her. I get it to a certain extent though. Kanye let himself be compromised and in turn let down a very large disparaged group of people. People who felt like they finally had somebody higher up to represent them to an audience that the disparaged group didn't have a means of reaching. I get it. All I can say is don't ever count on anyone. Don't count on anybody out there to speak your truth for you because we're all compromised. Take control of your life and push until it feels like you can't push another day, and then push some more. I've had my encounters with people who have a lot to say about my people when their asses haven't left the confines of their state since they were born. Yet, they feel like they can speak on a group of people they've only ever heard of on television. Especially, when unbeknownst to them they are speaking to a person from said group. I love when I hear "But you're your light skinned, speak perfect English, and are so hard working." To which I answer "I also speak perfect spanish, got my work ethic from my mother who got it from her hard family, and my skin color is book that tells a story about world history."
I dislike Kim and Kanye and I agree with a lot that she says but there’s a bit that irks me purely just because I am from a mixed family. I, myself am white and Indian but my siblings are white and black. And the thing that slightly upset me is that she mentioned their daughter being less than because she’s mixed. That’s an unfair statement to say. My little brother will never get the option to appear as white because he still has coloured skin. He’s going to get the black male negative stigma attached to him regardless of the fact our mother is white. And just because they’re mixed that doesn’t mean they don’t know where they’re ancestors came from.
Fully agreed when she said 'for black people, the idea that you have a choice between if you want to represent your people or not is just like... SHAME ON YOU' 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 the poem was sick too
No one ever speaks on Kanye losing his Mother. The biggest reason why Kanye has never been the same imo. Stop throwing stones at artists that don’t fit into your own personal fantasies.
Gotta love how these "woke" clowns always pull the Golddiger lyrics and act like Amber Rose wasnt the prime example of that, while Kim always had money.
Kanye opened up the fucking universe to me when I first heard his music. It changed everything for me. This interview is one of my favorite things because just like her, I have felt so fucking betrayed by his behavior for the past three years. Good for her, love everything about this.
I think she's perfectly addressing the issues with successful black men and the interracial dating experience period it's making you look in the mirror...... in the beginning of Kanye's career he represented something that the people could relate too but now that you have the super Hollywood elite behind you who are you now and what have you become?? And are you sure this is what you want?? She's just reminding herself why she fell in love with Kanye in the first place and what he is now
"I've been struggling with him" stuekc me because she is letting Kanye affect her personally ..and yes letting... allowing...this is a stranger to get someone she doesn't know personally. knowing someone's art doesn't equate to knowing them. I don't understand how people get so invested in their celebrities. get your entertainment but why invade their personal lives? would you rather him have chose any random black girl that he didn't actually love or marry the white girl who he happened to actually fall in love with? he didn't wake up and say hey I'm gonna say fuck black girls. he said he has always been enamored with Kim, so it has to do with her as a person. he didn't marry her for her race I don't get it. you act like you care about him yet you would rather him marry someone he isnt happy with just so you could feel more secure with yourself. find security from within and you'll be truly confident!
Marcus Jones if you listened to what she said, it’s not about Kim personally but what she and her family represent which is superficiality and carelessness.
This whimsical response to her interview shows you lacking in depth of understanding and reading between the lines, it was never about Kim it was about what she represented but to understand anything in this interview you would have had to hear her poem called footnotes for Kanye to understand anything, while in the same breath some people have the privilege of just not wanting to understand.
I heard footnotes to kanye when it first came out, last night I was sleeping and all of a sudden it popped in my head “Maybe yeezus is all talk, Jesus never needed adidas to walk”
There is something about this girl that is organic and sincere.
Cauzin Diem just pure fuckin genuine.... seriously
she's real
EXCELLENT INTERVIEW Vlad. I love to hear conscious black women speak the truth.
Steph Curry The G.O.A.T I don't think she was even speaking from a negative tone at all. sounds like she cares for kanye and wants him to be the creative force he once was. in today's society black men don't even see when our women actually give a damn. one of the many reasons we are the way we are as a people today.
Love to see our Black Queens Conscious!! Ase!!!
Sis is sharp as a knife. Wow. And she said what I had always thought, "what do Kim and Kanye really talk about?!?" If you've seen any of his older interviews the man is like a mad scientist. I believe their relationship is a business deal.
Her mind is like a two cent whore on a corner. Make it make sense. 🤦🏾♀️🤷🏽♀️
"America's goal to make black men lose their way"..damn that was deep
Sophiea Sanders its tru though
And they trick a lot of black women to help
I stopped breathing for a whole second when she dropped that gem!
Right, black women dumpster diving for weave but the black man is so lost
Let me guess "our way" is in the arms of a black "queen" right? riiiiight
These comments are ugly lmao. She's making perfect sense and in my opinion she doesn't sound like an angry black girl. Elizabeth Lopez ✊🏾
I'm conflicted though idk
Elizabeth Lopez agreed queen
Ppl don't want to accept that race and ethnicity are different. You say Kim is white. They say noooo she's Armenian. Like no girl. She's white. Lol.
Does it matter that she's white? For me the thing that matters is that he seems to have lost his soul now that he's with his women. She might be intellectual but she doesn't appear to be. Where's the artist that Kanye once was? And who is this lady that she can make him forget about his race?
Its so crazy how the media made it look like she was kanye's ex. Smh....
she cares way too much about Kanye lol.
They were engaged
@LivingProphecy. Actually I googled the girl he used to be with before fame, that he was engaged to and you're right, that's not her.
I think its cause of the lines "do you tell your daughter about me?" And "dont you know what we were supposed to be"
She such a bomb ass poet that one would automatically think they did date back in the day
she's beautiful, I love the way she speaks & chooses her words
Watching this again in 2022 then going back to her poetry “Footnote’s for Kanye” she was spitting facts then and now
WHEN SHE CURSES, IT DOESN'T SOUND VULGAR.
divaquana she’s right 🤷🏾♀️

I’m going only @ 7:45 but I understood that She was quoting him and his lyrics and the simple Hypocrisy
Well said. I agree with you.
🌺🥰

niansillabffs but this woman doesn't even like men, but wants to dictate who men are supposed to be with? That's what I dislike about it. Not only that, but make a poem about it.
niansillabffs girl I'll marry your beautiful self on site. We are still out here!
She tried to tell us way back then.

Bejīta I agree to an extent.
Jerome Beck Street bruthas saw PAC as a leader. Not necessarily "up standing" black citizens.
Had no issues with what she said. I totally agree. Black men need to acknowledge it more. And engage in dialogue to push the conversation as well as whats except able forward
"We can rap about revolution when there is no revolution." Deep.
“I know some black boys stand outside all day, simply cause no one is looking for them” - poet jasmine 💛
She's so passionate. Plus I can listen to her speak all day, her voice is so soothing.
I dig this sista.
He was never the person you invested in.
MrCbwTV Thank You...

Get ready for the "bitter black women" comments in 3...2...1..
Arusha Braithwaite Lol u know its coming. They hate us for some reason...
Arusha Braithwaite It's shouldn't be women but instead woman. As this particular woman act like Kanye done wronged her personally.
Arusha Braithwaite she def enforced that stereotype....
If u have to write a comment like this, then even you see that it is obvious that "that" is an issue. I just laugh at how cool y'all try to be, all jazzy n shit, until we piss y'all off and u still try to uphold that jazzy feel, but look like the one that has to be taken for the team.
larry legend Just made a general/observant comment. Sorry you got triggered.
She needs more recognition and I just wanna brag I met her and her energy is dope
GREAT INTERVIEW. Ms. Jasmine is simply amazing. FACTS!!!!!!
Spot on analysis of the Kardashian brand and what marrying it means. Jasmine is the best poet of the 21st century.
She is really struggling to understand how a person can be more complex then the art they produce
It's insane how much Kanye has changed. I watch his old stuff and tear up...nigga deep in the sunken place fr
But Im sick and tired of people saying he lost his way and sold out to white people when hes only ever been Kanye.
exactly
How do you feel about Kanye five years later?
Kanye fans are in that sunken place leave them we still got nas 😂😂😂
Kristmaz808 😂😂😂 they're deep in it. I can even find the rationale in these comments. She literally broke everything down and they still don't understand.
Morpheus voice "What if I told you that Nas fucks a ton of white and Spanish girls"
Jerome Beck what if I tell you show the receipts
Jerome Beck ww latino women are gorgeous i would say he was a fool if he didnt humans arw beautiful, its not the race its the character, i mean i duno kim but w.e i believe Kanye became top 1% and just wanted a trophy. I do not idolize people. Freewill is very real.

I can listen to this woman speak all day. 😍
That was a great interview..
alot of people who aren't "pro black" or "conscious" like kanye was wouldn't comprehend her sentiments. BUT I LOVE YOU JASMINE
so u mean white cuz if u black and you not pro black you must be white
I like her and what she stands for! I want to see more from her!!!!!
she is so articulate
Great interview!! I loved her poem Footnotes for Kanye. Those that followed him the entire stretch of his career understand where she is coming from.
I love this interview! Mainly because I'm fan of Jasmine Mans. She's saying FACTS! I respect her
armenian, irish, german, siberian, french, italian, dutch, polish, scotish, etc etc all look white to me foh
June Summer well then u are blind
Lohan Lul all them groups he named are white, their all different nationalities but all of them are white
RBG RBG armenian ain't white, then arabs should also be classified as whites and if you really think so then you guys are black... there some teally lightskin "blacks" in USA that are whiter than indians and real africans
I feel like this is the same view of white when they see black people. You don't know their nationality until they open their mouth and speak in their native language or tell you.
ignorant as fuck.
I love the sound of voice. She has a presence about that reminds me Maya Angelou. Like I could listen to her stories for hours. I feel the gravity of her words.
i love ur poems keep up da good work😍
I'm just now seeing this in 2018. Crazy how her message is even more accurate now. #Deep
Excellent interview Ms.
Well said family.
Lawrence Rachal Thanks homie.
Superstar Fresh I agree. Kanye is grown he can do what he wants. WE DONT KNOW THESE PEOPLE. we need to take the music and move on. he is a lil bit of a sell out but I dont take it personally. *Kanye shrug
Superstar Fresh I wasnt really referring to his wife I love Kim Lol I was referring to him starting off as "conscious " and now hes not.
Wow, looking back on this interview she hit the nail on the head
She might come off as bitter black woman but she is correct on a lot of things
This woman is amazing, nothing but truth coming from her soul.
This aged like fine wine and it saddens me
Kanye West's previous black girlfriends did not appreciate his talent and skills.... that drove him crazy. Also his mother passing. Rip to Donda West.
I agree 100%...I’ve had this convo with myself.
I love you jassmine I feel the same way. I've been saying these thing for along time. thank you
Kanye isn't 1 dimensional.
Eden Mugar facts
Interesting
I am enjoying this interview.
Talented poet...a true artist...just like Kanye...shaking things up
ready for part 2
I was introduced to this powerhouse of a black woman today as I was doing my dissertation and was taking a break. I already knew. That this is not Kanye. I would like to. Thank you Jasmine I am here right with you Thank you
she made a point, entertainers talk more about the devastation in wars etc after the fact.Instead of in the moment of it all happening.
And this was before the "slavery was a choice" Kanye quote. I wanna know how she felt about that. 😔
She had me until she said. She thought Kanye could lead us in a war. Old Kanye couldn't lead no fucking war
Bejīta Thank u
Jerome Beck Due to white supremacist brainwashing.
Love the manner in which she is speaking. Shes not coming off bitter or angry, just voicing facts.
Excellent interview.
She's just saying that Kanye is being hypocritical . Yes he's changed but he made his come up on being this "conscious" rapper now he's backing up political figures like trump I mean she's just stating facts.
But Kim K. is Armenian ?
She's talented but it's still celebrity worship at the end of the day.. people absolutely WORSHIP individuals they don't even know.. religiously.. it's crazy.. literally
Yep. Unhealthy behavior.
interesting interview. powerful poem. beautiful woman.
~Thanx
Dope.
The truth may be hard to hear but the truth is what it is.
Isn't it hypocritical for her to bash Kanye for marrying a white women when she's gay? I mean she has left the black man for something other so why is it not okay for Kanye to choose something other than the black woman?
Vlad needs to queue this for the flashback.
I will be glad when we as a people will be free to be what we want. when we can be individuals and not feel guilty for not taking on all the causes of an entire race of people. We put our own people in the chains of our expectations and worship the cult of personality.
Can Kanye PLEASE see this!!
I really respect her for this messages. It's crazy how she was really spitting facts. I grew up listing to Kanye West. And so much have change in him. Since he lost his Mom, that's the truth. He is not crazy, he is hurt. He needs to seek therapy
man....she's deep! Very insightful #respect
The honesty in this critique>>>
This helps explain the whole bitter blk wm stereotype. She is literally explaining valid points we as blk wm have for all blk men
Girlll he ain't no coming back from this he pulled this year
A fierce intellect setting fire to ego and selfish wants. Jasmine Mans unveils it all.
shes extremely intelligent and well spoken
🔴⚫️🍏. I see the colors and Keep speakin facts sis!
Hmm
All those who disliked this video how do you feel today..Her poem let us see the real kanye but most weren't paying attention until now...
This woman is a force.
I’m years late but I agree 100000%. Love her 🖤🖤🖤
He's back
This is the truth, even now, with his antics NOW!!! I was a huge fan of Kanye.
Gotta love how these "woke" clowns always pull the Golddiger lyrics and act like Amber Rose wasnt the prime example of that, while Kim always had money.
Yeah thats some true shit Amber is a gold digga. She always talk shit about him after they broke up with them.
I don't understand how people get so invested in their celebrities. get your entertainment but why invade their personal lives? would you rather him have chose any random black girl that he didn't actually love or marry the white girl who he happened to actually fall in love with? he didn't wake up and say hey I'm gonna say fuck black girls. he said he has always been enamored with Kim, so it has to do with her as a person. he didn't marry her for her race I don't get it. you act like you care about him yet you would rather him marry someone he isnt happy with just so you could feel more secure with yourself. find security from within and you'll be truly confident!
struck me*** lol
Thank you for this, sometimes its as if people take Kanye marrying Kim as a personal insult
people act like he signed a contract back in college dropout era to not date white women and only date black girls 😂
I heard footnotes to kanye when it first came out, last night I was sleeping and all of a sudden it popped in my head
“Maybe yeezus is all talk, Jesus never needed adidas to walk”
Damn her thoughts are thorough.
i respect her for voicing her opinion but she sounds very bitter. let that man grow. don’t worship false idols.
She was and still is DOPE 6 years later. 👏🏾🥂
This has me crying
So much poise, elegance, and intelligence. I'm on board everything related to her. Yes. Sis. 👏
She is amazing. I love her
