Sorry about my focus issue during the first minute. You only get one chance at filming first impressions though, so I had to just send it. I appreciate your time
Because I have shakers on my rig, the rig is mounted on springs to avoid annoying anytbody in my house or the neighbours. My wife assures me that she can't hear my HE Magshift in the next room if she is trying to sleep. It sounds loud close up, but it doesn't travel when dampened. As for customer service, I had a very early release Magshift, and HE subsequntly increased the force to 11KG on new versions. They shouted out to early adoptors and paid all postage to ship it back and upgrade the unit to 11kg. I have sprint pedals which I purchased used, but as they've been pefect I haven't had cause to contact customer services about them. I then got a HE handbrake and snapped a bolt in the mount due to a bad thread. I emailed HE and had a replacement in the post within two hours. The magshift is certainly not cheap, but their customer service is worth the premium and the products will no doubt outlive me.
They must’ve updated this shifter. When it was first released every reviewer complained it was far too weak and the tension could not be increased enough. Certainly doesn’t seem to be a problem anymore
@@LaurenceDusoswa awe makes sense. I wonder if they recalled everyone’s to update them to this clearly superior version. I hope they did and knowing heusinkveld I wouldn’t be surprised if they did.
@@alecmillea4539 HI, we sure did! Every owner of the first batch has been offered to have theirs recalled, updated and shipped back to them. Almost all of them did and their shifters are now in the exact spec as presented here by Laurence.
@@RemcoHitman That’s great to hear! It’s exactly the kind of customer service that makes Heusinkveld products worth the money! Thanks for taking the time to answer!
I sent mine back and it was upgraded to 11kg free of charge. I think I effectively got a new unit. All postage was paid by HE and it was back within a week frmo the Netherlands to UK. Fantastic service as usual.
How's tricks Laurence, Sean here from Ballincollig. I'm finally getting a few bits together to start gaming properly, but I was wondering for your opinion on the HORI Xbox Series X/S Racing Wheel. I'm literally trying to start on a budget of next to nothing and I'm just wondering if your community have any information with regards to that wheel. Mainly for F1 and some Rally. Sorry for the long winded message.
@@LaurenceDusoswa Holy heck, they're some bit of kit. A bit out of my price range for now to be brutally honest, but I'll definitely be saving and get that in the future. Cheers for the reply.

Looks like one of those special films you see in certain parts of the internet. 😏
what handbreak lever are you using

Great comment ❤️
Content drought over!! Looking forward to review, to see how the separate tension between up/downshift works.
Hahaha

Yep. I had the first version but they recalled it. I never used it.

Heusinkveld never disappoint, outstanding company and products.
Always pretty tasty and reliable
Wish more companies would have console support. Heusinkveld gear looks pretty serious!
Yeah console support is made difficult by the console manufacturers more so than the hardware manufacturers

No worries :) I actually know nothing about it to be honest. Check out the Moza R3. That has Xbox compatibility. laurencedusoswa.com/a/MOZA

As for dampening noise, have you tried placing your rig on the dampening pads for washing machines?
The rig is on wheels. That’s not the issue. It would need to be dampened either on the shifter itself or on its mount
@@LaurenceDusoswa Yeah I play mostly at night when the fam is asleep, so the loud sound when shifting is quite a negative.
My rig is on springs and it sorts that issue.
Jaysus, the size of that thing. That is a hell of a unit!

Dad, what does TWSS mean? 😳
Didn't notice anything watching in 360p, looks good 😊
😂😂😂
Surely 2 inputs is enough for a sequential shifter no?
😂🫣 needs MOAR
@@LaurenceDusoswa definitely doesn't 😜
Heusinkveld Magshift Sequential Shifter
10 inputs or do you mean 10 outputs?
(Me taking off my shoes to keep counting)
Inputato Outputato

Still waiting for Niels to add a signed photograph in the box.
😂🤣 could happen
@@LaurenceDusoswa His sense of humour shines in some of those decriptions in the manual/ software tho!
And how about vs Simagic Q1
I need to do a comparison video
