This is a message I preach all the time...You CAN build big arms WITHOUT heavy weights...And I'm going to show you the 5 best exercises to do so in today's brand new video...
Gary I always like your videos. I am in my 50s been working out 42 years. I am done with heavy weights. Joint problems every where. I haven't been to the gym in 3 months. I have a set of 20 lb dumbbells and trying to stay fit with the dumbbells, bodyweight and occasionally resistance bands. I can't wait to try this arm routine Saturday. Thanks for sharing your knowledge brother. God bless
Ive been looking for workout videos specially focused for people over 40s and beyond. Not many out there and lots of content makers made videos for young gym guys. So this is the best channel. Im 44 and i wanna thank live anabolic for creating channel for people of our age group. Thank you. 🙏💪
I have looked at alot of workout videos, I'm 62 and love to workout , I have family and friends ask me how do you get so huge, and I always said light weight , control , and resistance , thanks for this awesome video.
Good stuff! And for those of you who are doubters still don't be. I am about 6 ft and 180 lb and I have generally larger and better filled arms than a lot of guys that use twice the weight I use. I do watch my diet and that helps show some vascularity and cuts but I primarily work with 10 lb at the lightest up to 25 lb as the heaviest for my bicep workouts. Tricep workouts I bump up just a bit but I always pay strict attention to form and time under tension. Have fun and great video!
Thank you for posting this as the day of my hoisting heavy weights are long gone. An old lifter at my gym told me about the 100rds. Has anyone every heard of that? 100 reps with very light weights.
After 2 days I felt soreness in my triceps. I haven't had sore triceps as far as I can remember .The close grip pushups were difficult I must admit. Great workout to change things up ! Thanks !
Fantastic Gary! Your Ripped in 6 series is also a keeper! Best fitness channel around without the selling and hype. Oh! Let us not forget the Tri Con series as well.
Simple but effective, I used to do the 21's. They really do work, my arms were always pumped after 21's. Good feeling, I use weights to help my mental health.
You sir have inspired me. 55 and normally workout at McDonald's. Buying dumbells today and getting motivated. I'm going to hit this religiously. I'm your new subscriber. Now I need a diet plan 😎
I’m 71 I really like your video I generally would not make a comment but it was so good that I thought u deserved a big thumbs up I subscribed and will be implementing you in my workout process
Great video I have been doing 50 reps I get a pump and do 20 minutes cardio so at the end of the work out 300 reps all light weight lam 62 and my job about 40 thousand steps a week 1 work out on weekend 2 work outs during the week 50 to 55 hours a week thanks for your videos
Quality over quantity…light weights, good form during repetitions, and full concentration. Spider or Preacher curls followed by incline bicep curls (twist the wrist/arms outward with each rep.) finishing up with standing straight bar cable curls. Triceps- single dumbbell nose breakers on a flat bench, seated preacher tricep push downs, finish up with standing cable tricep push downs with straight bar. 59 years old 18 1/2 “ arms flexed.
Many reps is a substitute for the heavy low reps. This video is good for older men. Iam 63 and this type of working gives you results size and endurance
Mannn! Great exercises you’re sharing. As a 70 year old. I’m following & using your prescriptions, when I can’t get to the gym. Thank You My Brother…& keep sharing….
Most of us know that each person needs something a little different than the next guy. So I'm not trying to get exact. But some of us would like for you to give a specific number of reps and sets to use with these exercises. We can each adjust those to better "fit" us individually as we work out our own routine. But it might be nice to have a starting point. It took me close to a year to become comfortable with my routine. First, I was told/suggested to try strength training for the first year before body building. I actually don't wish to focus on body building ever. But recently I came to realize that I just may be having trouble moving up with the amount of weight because my muscles are really not growing much. So I changed my routine to encourage growth. The growth focus is a simple 20 Lb dumbell curl ten times with each arm for three sets. The strength part is a bit more complicated so I won't describe all of it. I'm just concerned if the three sets of ten bicept curls is enough to promote at least some growth of the bicept.
Love skullcrushers! My absolute favorite! Slow is,the way to go! 21's & hammer curls r great, too! Am 67 year old female & these r great for women as well. Don't forget us! TFS 💪
Excellent advice, thank you for explaining about the workouts, wasn't focusing on the tri's, but once I did, I saw what you meant about the 2/3rds of the muscle being there, been focusing too much on the bi's, but when combining these, Kapow !
57 work out with my daughter.Always told her it's not about the weight ,but the form and connection. I don't always go light, like to switch up to shock muscle. One of the best things don't fall into a routine. Change is good, never set reps.I never say going to do 8 or 10.Plays with your mind, go to failure each set.
Really good information... like the fact you don't need heavy weights.. I think you can stress yourself out just thinking of heavy weights, and as we all know stress is no good to anyone! Thank you... needed this video being older than some!
Wow, what a great video! I've been doing more reps at the gym with lower weights, but I've been using machines! I'm now planning to introduce your dumbbell exercises to my work out! Thank you Sir!
Just turned 71,been care giving my wife for 3 years, cardio is good 2 miles everyday for the last 3 months One day per week rest, Time to get some mass Back into it ,common sense stuff for us Older guys, Thanks so very much, Great instruction, I'm IN .
Good man. I'm 65, in better shape than most forty year olds I know. I've been my mom's (95) caregiver for three years and if it wasn't for running or working out, I'd go insane. Working on arms and shoulders as I'm getting weaker by the Birthday. Keep it up friend!
Good Morning I just watched this Video and definitely looks like something I’ve been looking for I have very limited limitations due to my disabilities. My most worst area is my arms especially those bat wings LOL . Thank You will come back with Results 😀
All exercises are very excellent and brilliant sirji of biceps and triceps and keep going hard and be strong always And can you suggest me a protein powder without soya protein and soya lecithin because I am allergic to it and give the name of protein powder and then I will take it
🙌🏝🏖I sure appreciate the sharing of these important information of training..I'm 64 years old 🧓 and, I'm not dead yet..so, I'm gonna keep getting educated on training. I think it's worth the effort to stay healthy and 💪 strong..Thankyou for sharing this important information guy's..💪👍🤝🤟🫡🫶😎🏖🏝
Very informative; i was not aware of some of the technical points. One of the best (if not the best!) presentations out there. Keep up the good work and thank you!!
Can’t do the 2nd tricep ex b/c of a past rotator cuff injury. For #3 ex I have that sore shoulder so inplace of close grip push ups I do close grip bench press.
Thanks! Just had hernia surgery and can't lift heavy. Do you have any suggestions for these workouts with 10lb weights such as how many sets/reps with the 10lb dumbbells? Thanks!
Enjoyed the vid im 70 and started working out for the first time 18 months ago now have my own multigym in the house as they say its never to late to try Lost 25 kilos of weight l eat much better But still have big problems with my elbows can you recommend anything for this thanking you
From MANY years of heavy lifting, my shoulders are really bad. My left is bone on bone. All 3 of the tricep exercises in this video, I am personally unable to do 😞
Real informative great video for men of my age(50, 51 on June 25th) I'm one of those who had the elbow joint pain and I stopped working out for awhile but I'm back to it now but I will definitely try this out today..
I like what he said about not neglecting the biceps or triceps, but ppl overlook working out on forearms any time they talk about doing arms. 👉🏾Build those forearms muscles as well.
Thank you very much for this video. Question for you, have no cartilage between my L4-L5, how do I work out my lower body without making my back issues worse.
This is a message I preach all the time...You CAN build big arms WITHOUT heavy weights...And I'm going to show you the 5 best exercises to do so in today's brand new video...
Complete 3 sets of an exercise before moving on to the next exercise, or complete a set of each and repeat 3 times? Thanks for the great routines!

If your in your sixty’s and your already huge by your own admission why do you thank someone for something you obviously already know?
