  • The small 12 tooth gear (32270) were not able to do its job in a 'production environment'. At Lego World 2017, each arm made over 5000 moves. That was too much for these gears.
    A redesign was needed ... in this video, you see the working new drive mechanism. Worm gears (4716) are now used for driving the robot arms.
    I still need to do an endurance test, but the first step was making a more robust mechanism.
