i lost my fiancée, who was just as big of a lifelong mcr fan as i am, to suicide in 2020. she suffered from incredibly complex trauma disorders, which meant lots of times where i would hold her during panic attacks. i would always stroke her hair and sing this to her during these attacks, and now it will be 2 years in august since she completed, and my heart is so broken yet soothed by hearing current day gerard sing the song that brought my love so much peace in her final months on this side of the veil.
I did my first dance with my ex-wife to this song. I avoid it when I listen to mcr even tho I know ever word. Funny how music takes you to so many places. Thank you for sharing and I wish you the best because I honestly feel like they are saving my life once again. Hope you felt the same. Carry on. 🤘

He’s so underrated and such a sweetheart so to just him and the whole band enjoying themselves just send my emotions all over the place! As well as the friends I made there that night!
