actually the Bahamut attack was the 7th umbral calamity, and when you start ARR you're in the 7th umbral era and once you finish the level 50 MSQ and go into the ARR patch content you are in the 7th Astral Era, in Shadowbringer you're trying to prevent the 8th umbral calamity.
ARR has two outcomes for players. You quit in middle hateing the game.Or You finish and become living advertisment for FFXIV.

Hopefully I'll be able to see your journey through Endwalker. It took me forever to get through Endwalker, but it pays off a hundred fold. I spent a super long time taking a break from MSQ in post-Shadowbringers. No need to rush. Don't burn yourself out, and I hope you enjoy!
