Also scrolling for too long actually kills your brain as you are not bound to remember anything, no neuron connection forms and the previous ones break , just try to remember last 3 or 4 shorts or seconds long video you won't be able to remember....so scrolling literally eats your brain
I love reading. I'm also a HUGE advocate for reading whatever the hell you want. This year I re-read the Harry Potter books for the roughly 10th time. If you like a book, you can re-read as often as you'd like. If you dislike a book, you don't have to finish it. You can even leave a book for a while, then pick it up again to finish it. Never let anyone shame you for your choice of book. Make it fun, enjoyable. Set a timer, start with five minutes, or even just two. Reading enhances your life so much, if you let it.
I definitely believe my social media consumption has truly ruined my focus and intelligence, I also feel like i have become more lazy and keep procrastinating
