depending on the weapon used, tea might not be potent enough to keep your AP high after vats. canned coffee is a stronger consumable that doesn't affect AP regeneration, but gives AP after use like a stimpak gives health. This enables vats abusers to indulge without worrying about exhausting their AP.
@@peterclarke7006 This! I've got a god-roll railway rifle with Quad, 50% Vats critical damage, and 25% reduced AP cost and it's absolutely absurd. I like barely use my bloodied God roll fixer anymore
@@KhronikHD ah, I've similar, but my second star is explosive. With the explosive and grenadier perks it's just absurd. Nothing apart from bosses lasts more than a second or two against it. I can rinse a mirelurk queen without leaving VATS or reloading. Plus it sounds like an a10 warthog 😂
Even for a non-VATS user it's a pretty good investment. At a 40% quench, it makes it really easy to stay hydrated.

I use this on my auto-melee build too. Makes AP management even easier when using auto axe or chainsaw.
