This accessory like the series s gets tons of unneeded hate. I love this combo, backed on kickstarter. It’s not for everyone, but it’s amazing for hotels, visiting family, or just wanting to be in the same room as your loved ones without taking up the tv. It’s not a cheap option by any means. If you buy series s, expansion card, up spec monitor, and travel case. You have a big chuck of change invested. But honestly this is the kind of setup a lot of people are looking for. For my time with it I’d say A+. But again everything isn’t for everyone. Cheers

Just purchased this on amazon. Next day delivery, love the simplistic look and cery slim profile. And only one cord that needs to be used compared to gstory using a seperate cord for HDMI. A cord for the xbox to power and also a cord to piwer the monitor, this is a true portable gaming monitor

Series S has a level of coolness that u don’t appreciate until u have owned all the other consoles. U buy the S first u think your missing out on X and ps5 performance when really when have all of them or at least tried them all u realize the later isn’t really necessary and difference isn’t that big a deal kinda small really. Memory is the only thing that hard to make up

As a military man that is always on the move and always busy I always wanted to have a Xbox, but settled for a Nintendo switch for a while, but being unhappy with the games that are limited that I like. I've always wanted to go back to the Xbox and this seems perfect for me being that I'm always on the move and never being in the same place. Plus I do love portability
This is great for one of two scenarios. Either 1, you're on the go a lot of trips and want to bring your Xbox with you. Or 2, you're tight on space/outlets and need a way to play.
I think Microsoft and the company that makes this style monitor should partner up....every gaming laptop I've ever had usually has to be plugged up cause games suck battery life like crazy why not a Series S instead?
That might be good for a road trip if your car has a regular a/c outlet port.
A series s with a screen to play anywhere for $500 is actually not bad. Most people have a tv to begin with.

True. But I see it as a full complete package. $250-300 screen plus the $250-300 console. Add more storage and it’s a portable beast. This thing will be a collector’s item one day.

man, the ethernet missing is a dealbreaker for me
I have a series S for travelling and I just think using a hotel TV makes more sense. They almost always have HDMI anyway and a power source will be nearby for the Series S. I could see this working in a kids bedroom where they don’t have a TV.
Every hotel I’ve ever stayed in the TVs are terrible.

microsoft should take note of such a device. maybe they make their own mobile game system this way lol. does look nifty looking. Also recomend any games for series s? Since i coudlnt get hold of a ps5 for my brother im getting this and wondering if any games worth while he might like. He loves action/adventure game the most like god of war, tomb raider, ninja gaiden, devil may cry, and uncharted along good 3d platformers.

series s is on sale for as low as 149 right now (on tiktok right this second anyway) and this is 170 so a lot cheaper.

Since it’s not actually portable why not just use a tv or monitor?! Seems pointless. I’d rather use a true gaming laptop any day since it has soooooo many more uses then just gaming.
I had a series x (that I sold) a ps5 that I have no one to game with (everyone has xbox), and I use my series s 99.9% of the time, being a dad with 4 kids I can't game on the living room tv as my wife and kids would be booted out of the living room basically, if I run upstairs and game in my room then I'm avoiding "parenting duty", I got a gaems portable monitor and use my series s at the dining room table, coffee table in the living room etc, it's allowed me to game easily.
I hope to get one of these but being in canada it's roughy $400 cad after taxes and duties, I can get another S for that price 😔
The x screen is such a scam it only runs 1080p at 60 why not just buy a monitor for 200 that can run 120 at 1080?
Portability and form factor.
Right. there are portable monitors that can do 2k 120hz, or 1080p 144-300hz, which you can use with other devices as well, and a power bank for power for portability which everyone has nowadays. If not, power banks are really cheap now. But if you're on the go you have to plug in your series S anyways so you can plug in your portable monitor to the wall as well, no big deal. But more importantly G-story has 1080p with higher fps and also higher resolution Xbox series s/x attachment monitors like this one. G-story doesn't block all your ports and if you want it has 2 HDMI inputs to attach another device and use the monitor for productivity or whatnot on the go. Most importantly it's doesn't use series S/x for power, so you don't have to worry about frying your system like this one could do if you have a defective series s. Which is probably what happened when he/you fried your series S with your ext monitor
In my opinion if you just wanna play it’s good non competitive it’s something to look into and it’s on sell for 200 but it’s the only one that doesn’t require you to bring any other cord but the power cord and something to charge a controller

Honestly. Its wicked convenient. Not the money but if you (not you) want to look at up for 3-4 hrs a day infront of a 24in monitor or tv. Its probably best. Plus no more hdmi cord?

I too have this TV and had it since it released. Absolutely not. There are better TVs out there that folds just like that, attaches to your Series S and is 1440p 144hz capable.
Had I known all the things I know now back then, I want not have bought the "xScreen". Nope.

That X screen needs to be a 120hz with a very low latency. Yes I know the series s doesn't get 120fps in a game but having an over speced screen is better and for the money u pay for it you would expect it to be better.
Its dope thing for a truck driver but pointless while screen is more expensive than console itself ☹️
