- Before the Slipknot show in Munich, we met Corey Taylor backstage for a couple of jokes and questions. We talk about "the new guy" and how Tortilla Man brings new (crazy) energy to the entire band, about the Open Air gigs in summer and playing Wacken and how Social Media turned into Social Mania. Also, we talk about Knotfest in general - and look back on what happened at Knotfest in Mexico City in December.

I'm just pointing out the irony,, cuz often times interviewers are having to remind people to keep the mic close to your mouth so the viewers will be able to hear the conversation

Live Talent is one of the worst in security, when Zepeda Bros made the first 3 KNOTFEST they never had any security failures. I was there and they were the best 3 events I was in.
It was a mistake to give the brand to Live Talent.
6LOBO6 same from here i was on 2 actually but after I heard that with Evanescence i literally went back home and enjoyed rock am ring where I worked as Rigger on the Stage with 2 friends since 5 years and dude there is also local police outside the festival like arround 3 thousand Police security .... Same goes for the security team there its there since 2004 or 2005 I guess I need to ask them but im sure of it

Broken barricade
- The preferent zone (in front of the stage) was unfairly big, there were big empty spaces between general admission and preferent zones.
- No security on the barricades to keep the general admission crowd out of the preferent admission zone. People were jumping/breaking the fence so they could get closer to the main stage.
Evanescence riot and ignited drum set
- Before Evanescence's show, general admission broke the fence to pass through preferent admission which led to a temporal suspension of evanescense and slipknot performance. After hours of waiting, Evanescence's performance time was over and the organization of the concert did not make any announcement of what was going on, so all fans took it personal against evanescense because they were now using slipknot's time.
- It was alowed to smoke, soe stupid fans decided to use lifhters to ignite many objects
The Organization of the show, "live talent", was the responsible, they decided not to invest a lot of money in security and decided to do set concert in the most unsafest/cheap place in Mexico City. People from outside entered the concert and robbed multiple fans with guns/knifes.
I was there 3 meters away from the barricades in Mexico. The fans were not to blame, neither the band, the fucking organizers were to blame. Since the Knotfest announced that that company (I forgot the name) were the ones who will organize the whole thing, all metalheads from Mexico scream and say, "it´s gonna be a disaster". Some others said it was sabotage from the rival organization company. The truth is that, if you got a security guard every meter in the barricade during each concert, nothing like this happens. And there were like only 5 of them along 50 meters of the barricade. That´s it´s just the organizers cutting costs in personnel. Also, the VIP space was way to big, there was like 20 meters of space empty because of that, and then the barricade that divided the general tickets area.
Also, in the whole "burning the drums" riot were only like 40 people out of 25 000 and absolutely no guards around for like 20 minutes, how else do you think 40 people can get up on stage, throw the drum and set it on fire? The bunch of assholes that screw the whole night for us were probably not fans, maybe pay to do that, and they could do it freely because there was no security whatsoever.
