Can confirm, I'm glad to see the 20 year olds discovering Slipknot the way I did back in the day.
Known about them for years but never actually listened to them till a few months ago, honestly wish I got into them sooner.
My cousin introduced me to slipknot when I was 6. My first song was devil in I. I fucking fell in love with metal that very day. And have been headbanging to slipknot since, repeating all the albums
As a teen myself I wish I could've been a teen when they first began, it looks so fun at concerts and just everything at the time. I've only recently gotten into metal but I love it so much
I'm 26. Been a fan for 10 years!
im 19 and i just recently started listening to them, i love slipknot
That guy looks like a slim version of clown
oh gawd yeah :O
That is so true!! 👍👍
Or now....just clown
Jesus now I can’t unsee it
Omg he does lmao
Corey looks like he hasn’t aged at all the last 12 years.
I see by your profile picture you're a man of culture
The devil worships him thats why
except the hair (so i am)
@@yannick338 no shit, many of people out there who is satanic, but they getting old so fast

Joe Rogan Experience

The two doucheyist hosts of all time. No thanks

Necks atleast 57.....

Slipknot: For everyone
TikTok: for weird people, per Corey.

He’s right tho....

That look on his face when he got the award is so amazing!!
“We’re not setting each other on fire...that much” lol I love Corey
Man, for how intense and brutal Corey can be, he sure is very humble and he has a pretty soft heart. Ya gotta love him!!
I like your style dude
Nah i think he just sociopath
@@Natures..Sacrifice how? He's so freaking soft and up in his feelings.
@@fe5018 yeah, right? Something tells me the guy who cries on stage playing Snuff isn't a sociopath....
@@brianwalendy3735, your comment reads sarcastic??
Coreys tears of joy over a radio hall of fame induction made me love him even more. He deserves all the success he’s gotten
46 years old? He looks and sounds younger than me, and I'm 29!
He kicking 50 in the ass ALL OF EM ARE well- except jay hes still in his 30's
okay wow.. that surprisingly hurt to hear Corey talking about 'my pain', i didn't realise how aware he was of some of the things people have been saying, i remember hearing it for the first time as soon as the album was released, i cried my fucking eyes out and it instantly became one of my favourites from the album, it's such an incredible song, and at least for me it was so easy to connect with and understand, and i mean every single word, every single feeling.. like so many of slipknot/stone sours songs, it just feels so personal and it represented EXACTLY how i was feeling throughout a lot of 2018, the entirety of 2019 and still to this day to some degree, the song, and the entire album will always have a very special place in my heart :) and i'm so glad i was able to be here to experience it.
anyway, i've not even finished watching this interview yet but it's already been fucking incredible and been a great way to start the day, thank you Loz.
and thank you Corey, i fucking love you, long live the knot, we are not your kind \m/
I understand what the songs about I understand the aesthetic an the meaning it's just not a good song in my eyes
Awesome comment
Tyla Porrett-Ward what does “my pain” mean to you
@Lucas Novaes yeah that's true, i mean i remember Jim talking about the "lack of guitar solos" after hearing what some people had said, it just caught me off guard and surprised me a lil bit hahaha.
but oh yeah, social media can be fucking toxic and i decided to delete all of mine in march/april last year, and that's just me, i can barely even imagine what it's like for people like Corey, i was so glad when i found out that he was stepping away from it though
thats crazy buuut
This is why I love Corey Taylor he humbles himself and not afraid to show his emotions. Thats what makes him an amazing person and thats why he is very well respected as a musician. I love the fact how he gave Clown the credit that he deserves for having the vision of Slipknot. He doesn't take credit for anything he gives people credit for his success. He thanks fans he thanks bandmates.

@@Drunkcat008 only it ain't from fucking Iowa...
I really appreciate the respect he has for Corey and the band, I haven’t seen many of his interviews but he seems to respect Slipknot and I like seeing people who may not fully understand something but respect what it stands for and what it means to people.
God I fucking love Corey, his reaction to getting that award just warms my heart
If Corey got glassed in the neck in a bar fight or something, he'd probably be ok
Thickest neck I’ve ever seen. Thicker neck than an NFL linebacker. He could out neck wrestle the Rock.
thats not how it works he would neck the glass.
Clowns vision is what makes slipknot successful thro the years! I LOVE CLOWN
When he starts to tear up at the Kerrang award ♥ You can see how much it meant to him to be receiving that. He's so down to earth and intelligent as hell; that and his music and singing voice are reasons why I love Slipknot and Corey Taylor so much. I've been binge watching interviews of his all morning😂
Corey’s reaction to the award shows how much music and Slipknot and everything related to that means to him, what a legend and deserved award 🤘🏻
What a reaction to receiving the band's award, that's why the fans love Corey, he's as real and honest as it gets!
I think it's safe to say they've become a legacy band. In the vain of Iron Maiden, Rammstein etc. They have certain set pieces that are present every show but also have elements that evolve with every tour.
if they ever split up i will actually cry and never stop
Iowa was one of the best albums period...

I was at the Astoria gig. Still have my ticket & t-shirt. One of my all time favorite gigs.
Corey needs to narrate my life.. That voice.. The darkness between Slipknot and the lighter Stone Sour.. It really connects with the duality of my emotions.
SkeletonArmy666
Need a Morgan Freeman/Corey Taylor dual narration ...
Thank you slipknot for helping me wiv my social anxiety back im my teens still amazing to this day 😲
His reaction to the award is incredible . Love this man an love this band
Went too see him that night in Birmingham, what a gig!
Indeed, saw them during Iowa tour at the NEC many moons ago and it was my wife's first slipknot show. She loved it!
I love this fucking guy. I'm 32 and I've been a die hard fan since Iowa. I hope for many more years to come 🤘👺🤘
that might be the understatement of the century " 20 year kings of live metal" how many times have you heard people say " slipknot actually sounds better live" i remember having the iowa live album and it's just so much more enjoyable. no one else even comes close. i mean i havent been a fan of the new album but slip knot has always brought the energy and never cheaps out on a performance. i may not agree with coreys politics and such but he seems like a good dude and is a great musician. keep rocking
after hearing eyeless for the first time, i knew i'd never have to listen to another metal band ever again. it was just that good, and we the fans have aged and evolved with the band so they are still reflecting our experiences as we all grow up together.
Play the nameless live, please.
Gematria too. Nomadic
GreenMatrix 30seven810172324 I think Gematria is too complex for Mick and Jim to get on one take 😂
Now you are thinking. Yes!!!
It is the hardest to play. Fair point there
God fucking damn it Corey, I love you and you are awesome! I've listened to you and slipknot since I was like 16 or whatever (37 now) and I still listen. Keep it up mate!
I love the HUGE content drops by Slipknot of the last week or so.
I want to see CMFT and Mike Patton collaborate.
sydIRISH Patton needs to get together with Corey, for sure. What they'd make... nobody knows!
Mike Patton would probably teach Corey to sing opera.

I'm so proud to idolize this legend, Corey Taylor. The band and their music literally helped me survived some of the most difficult days of my life. #MaggotForLife
I remember first reading about Slipknot in a Maxim magazine. In a howitzer, on a field training exercise, in Germany as a young soldier back in the late 90’s. Now here we are in 2020 and WE’RE ALL OLD! Thanks for all the great tunes that I blew up sh*t to.
I love us Stone Sour work. The guy has serious vocal talent. I was stunned. Getting the hall of fame,, the look on his face, classic.
i am the 99's dude who still alive and waiting till today..thank god we could be able to see for the first time in Indonesia this march, so happy about it!.....dream come true to see my big inspiration in music.....even tho i play pop punk
my heart will break so much if he leaves slipknot. he’s my favorite vocalist ever and hes perfect for slipknot. i love stone sour but slipknot wins my heart😭
I about lost it when Corey got that 20 year award. I was in shock and awe with Corey.

From Birmingham, WELCOME COREY!!
Corey threw rocks at me one time at the play ground over at big creek when I was growing up.
Hopefully you learned your lesson...
I caught slipknot at ozzfest 2000 just before Iowa. Great show killer vibe #1 👌
as much as I love slipknot and have done the past 20 yrs, I wouldnt blame them even if they did call it quits. they've certainly paid their dues and done their time! :)
Nah, their only half way imo. They've had to calm down with their stage antics a bit, but still a major 'powerhouse' in metal.
Nooooooo, never quit and hope they keep on making new music. I'm 47 and love the bands performance.
New album surprised me with how much I enjoyed it. Was kind of done with them after All Hope is Gone.
I don't have one bad album or song from slipknot

The UK loves Slipknot! I love you guys! Never forget us, your second home. I fuckin love you guys so so much
His reaction when getting that award is why I love Corey so much dudes so fuckin down to earth and just a genuine warm hearted dude
I highly doubt ANYBODY in the band has ever said "Corey, I can't hear you"!
when he cried it just warmed my heart i want to hug him!!!
Saw them in London at the O2 and I totally understand why their playing these packed arena shows.
I was almost 9 when the first album came out. Didn't know about them until 2003. I liked a couple songs but I wasn't really into metal back then. I didn't become a fan of them until 2019. Something just clicked in me after I heard that album. At that point I had been into metal for many years and listened to all sorts of extreme metal bands. But I was at a point in my life where I had just gotten out of a long abusive relationship. So I literally felt the pain in those lyrics. It's as if Corey was singing about my life. Then I went back and listened to Iowa. I think you have to have a certain level of pain and hatred for humanity to be able to appreciate that type of music. Maybe I'm wrong about that, but that's how it was for me. It's become very cathartic. A huge release of negative emotions and depression and that sort of thing. I might not have been able to cope if it wasn't for slipknot. So I definitely owe Corey and the guys a lot.
That spot on the wall drove me nuts lol
When Corey is talking about a brotherhood, I just can’t get past the time they referred to their “brother” as just a hired gun. Hired gun Since 1999
Word
sadly same. but then again chris is a known liar and a crook soooooooo meh
@Micah Mcgaffin wonderful stage presence thou
I love Chris but what did he do?
I'm putting a vote in for Corey Taylor to receive a KBE (Knight of the British Empire) Knighthood.
Sir Corey Taylor
Sir Mother Fin Corey Taylor
Oh my god that’s brilliant
That look of shock and awe on Corey's face when he handed him the Kerrang! Hall of Fame award is absolutely genuine and idc who says what, Corey is an exceptional human being and even at 44 years old, he being only a few years older than me at 47 I believe, I idolize him. Many people judge him saying he's a douchebag or whatever but my man has absolutely no filter and speaks what is on his mind and most people in Hollywood these days want to satisfy anybody and everybody, especially the interviewer.
Seeing slipknot in Nashville in June! See them at Ozzfest in 2003! Fan since 99.
Music is my life
I remember my first concert. It was Of Mice & Men, Marilyn Manson, and Slipknot. It was one hell of a concert.
If Slipknot die I I don't know what to do?!
Corey’s been holding that cup of coffee for 20 long minutes that made me think why anyone didnt notice him looking at it for quite a long time where he would put it.
I could listen to those two chat forever
When you wrestle a bear in the morning but you have to go to an interview in the afternoon
Jesus dude nearly set me off! I'm so happy that the UK is their "2nd home". What a dude
Corey looks so much happier than he used to.
I want a Joey Jordison figure from the All Hope Is Gone era
I must, I didn’t get into Slipknot until my latter years.... but this band fucking rocks!
