Hazel is a big snuggle monster disguised as a donkey. When I was a child growing up, my grandparents had a ranch in Ojai. They had a donkey named Sam there that was very much like Hazel, he loved to be with his hoomans and loved attention. He was also very protective of us kids too, if he thought trouble was coming our way he would run to head it off at the pass. Donkeys are extremely intelligent, and the most affectionate of equines in my opinion. Thanks for the entertainment!
