SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS WINTER

These are the colourful images of the delightful freeze (in January, 2024) in northern Scotland, together with its ubiquitous hoarfrost. These are followed by a winter journey from the village of Ardgay (at the head of Dornoch Firth) all the way up to the village of Bettyhill on the north coast.. (Both of these villages are located in the northernmost and geographically huge county of Sutherland). This short video ends with a swim in the icy water (of Farr Beach) off the north coast.
