Thank you a million times!!!. We are just starting Cerner, and your tutorial is tremendously helpful, very clear, and well appreciated. I may have to come back a few times more to review it in your tutorial 😊!
Ive used MANY charting systems over my long nursing career and i can say that this is without a doubt the worse that I have used. It's layers make it VERY easy to miss important orders and that even charting basic I and Os or assessments is over complicated. I strongly favor Epic for endless reasons......I haven't met a nurse that is experienced both systems amd prefer Cerner......I have witnessed more charting write ups with this system than ANY OTHER
My first week as a new grad i spent so much time fixing things that this shitty system should do for you. It would delete my charting if i didn’t individually save each sub category. Then after savings it didn’t show my 8am charting later that day and i could find it. So i recharted and got an error that i had duplicate charting. It’s bc even tho it SAVED my charting it’s bc i didn’t ALSO individually hit refresh. So it didn’t reflect my charting. 🙃 i want to fight whoever made this shitty ass “software”.
Cerner simply violates the fundamentals of workflow and UI design. Probably in some of the worst possible ways. If this was corrected, it would be a great system.
It really does!! I hate whoever made this bc omg it’s awful. It reminds me of some basic shitty programs i made back when i started to learn to program. Painfully bad, redundant and laughable work.
Could be a great system but the quality of support from Cerner AMS and the lack of ability/skill from anybody in Cerner Consulting or Engineering is atrocious. Things have only been going more downhill since the take over from Oracle, they aren't even trying to meet legal standards anymore.

Thank you for this video. I'm not loving the system but at least finding videos like this helps a lot
It's a GD shame that the program doesn't work well for the presenter. Epic is superior.
Far superior
100%

Omg my instructor needs to do this for our class. We have no direction.
Our Cerner starts in August and I have no idea where to start. Think I need to look for another job!
@genuineperson3540 are you at LNWH or THH 😂
@@fender1308 I'd hate to admit! Lol.
you tube nursing school- couldnt survive without it
Please do you have a video of how to design and build Custom mPages and Advisors within the Oracle Cerner application?
This teaching screen needs to be larger. I cannot see what you are clicking on. Trying to follow in an attempt to learn.
Very helpful, thank you for this video

Much better instruction then information provided by Cerner!
What do you use for procurement in hospitals?? Software? Can we use cerner?
Do you have any training on billing and how to attach an EOB to a secondary insurance
Which application are you using? Patient Access? Revenue Cycle?
Well done
EPIC is better and named epic for a reason imo 😌
