@@rdawg779 A feature called Sticky Notes - an old, informal means of communication between members of a care team. I've never seen a health system actually use it. A newer equivalent would be the Reminders component in a Workflow MPage.
And cause hand injury. Beg the surpervisor and the IT to make available the features to list, sort filter by MRN, by person, by diagnose, by discharge, by dismissal, by between dates, etc. Instead of you type each freaking MRN to find patient to see if it's discharged, or if it has such class 5, class 2. You can't even use copy and paste. It's absurd. If they deny, say your hand is aching, and you fear injury.
This is most cumbersome system I have ever worked with. Medi tech is even better than this. When do I actually get to do patient care and assess them completely head to toe.
Ok, what about if I want a list that shows all the patients that were dismissed. Or a list of patients by class 1 or 2 or 3 or 4. or a list of patients that shows all the classes. I use this information to put in another database to do statistics. It's insane a user have to search one by one patient via typing MRN number. It's so stupid and cause injuries on the employees for lacking of accessibility. It should have custom reports to be used right away and be imported via excel, whenever there is update. When I need again the reports it should show updated dismissed patients. Where is the accessibility? Where is the shortcuts keys to prevent users breaking theirs hands by so trips, clicks dragging and squinting their eyes to read the MRN #. I don't know how CERNER is still in business. It puzzles me. We don't even need to be that smart to know the stupidity. Either it's stupidity, or somebody is holding back the features of the CERNER.
Solution build varies by client. You can readily build a patient list of discharged patients in the Patient List tool. Dynamic Worklists offer a more modern solution and are used by several disciplines including physicians, pharmacists, and care managers. The Discern Reporting Portal offers numerous pre-built reports and can be further customized by your health system. You can also integrate third party solutions like Power BI for dashboards and further analysis.
I always enjoy working with the Cerner System.
Then you haven't try Epic. If you do, you do not want to come back to Cerner, for how much simpler and easier to navigate than Cerner.
A column can be added that is a "Note" where does the information for this column come from?
Also wondering this.
STILL WONDERING THIS AS WELL, thats why I searched for the patient list tutorial!@@rdawg779

How do I print medication list
The most seriously time consuming inefficient EHR, CERNER has ridiculous too much clicks everywhere.

Agree 💯
Shit looks so outdated and compact
