Sure could use a build video on this kit, I am struggling with the trunion set up and the front engine mount and my interior pan doesn't seem to be going all the way in, but not really sure. Anyways, love the channel!!
Flash forward two years to 2019. My huge box came today from Auto World, Mack Cruise-Liner and 3 other kits and some AMT slicks. See how you are influencing me! lol
I'm working on this kit now.. turning out to be a frustrating build. Instruction guide to vague on where and how some parts fit. Had to modify Sterling gear box , and rear axles to short. Had to modify them also. Air brakes are guess work. Lol. Is as far as I got so far.

Damn, damn, damn! Another kit to drool over! Does anyone know if Round2 have the Ertl truck kits in their vault? I'm talking about the line of International Harvester trucks they put out before they merged with AMT.
superb Review, I have this Kit and a lot of other ones, from Amt . This Kits are not for a beginner, some of the Kits even have no number of the Parts , some fit very good together, some are have so much flash, special the Peterbilt Wrecker needs lot of clean up , but when they are build look awesome . Tyres are not so good.
i don't know you get it in the US, but there are Tyre Sets from Italeri, so you can Change them , and also from Moebius Models, If the Kit is in production, you can order Sparparts from Revell, For the Unimog , other Trucks, Fire Engines you can order the Tyres and swap them, , or other parts for any Kit this is great for scratch builders.Another tip, fill the Tyres with some foam to give more stability, because over time they flatten out.
True. But, I shared this info mainly because the DM600 kit has a different engine and transmission than the Cruiseliner and R-685. It's comes equipped with an engine inner-cooler and a twin-stick, 5+4 transmission setup.

These old 1/25 tractors will be frustrating, they are most certainly for modelers with a good amount of experience.
That and superliner was my favorite trucks and I've drove 30 + years I remember the ads in over drive magazine

i have a problem about the cab there is a plastic tab on the front which is a pain to cut.

I don't see many of the real cabover semi trux n service here n the USA anymore like I use to back n the day.
Dose it have the cab top marker light holes
I am currently building the R685 which does have them so I'm pretty sure this kit would too.
Do a built on a Mack cab over so we can see how it goes together got one need help
