I am working as an Examiner in Chennai Customs. Promotion to the grade of appraiser will take minimum 6 years. 2022 batch was huge. Even mumbai customs batch was too big (almost 200 examiners). Also, customs has lost its charm. Anyone who cant stay away from home dont opt it ever.
