The ultimate you seen them hit in the trailer is Android 17’s BT3 Ultimate which was shown after they jump cut from the start of Android 18’s ultimate from BT3. 17 (DBS) has Super Electric Strike and 17 (DBZ) has the Duel End Rain Ultimate
You could be looking at a story cutscene, team ult, a regular super... so much! I dont think either of us should be talking with such certainty, anything is possible.

Something I find interesting with the future gohan part is the outfit trunks is wearing, and in the show how there’s two timelines of trunks, one where he wins and cell attacks him and steals the Time Machine, and the other one which we see get played out. Would be dope if this story mode had that
Z era 17 will be a different character. He wasn't revealed in this trailer because that's not the theme. The theme is master and apprentice, so it would be weird to reveal 17 in a trailer focusing on that. Also i'm not convinced there won't be another piccolo. The piccolo we have revealed uses special beam cannon and the throw and mouth blast as supers. That means, unless they change it from tenkaichi, he has 1 super left that we don't know. His other known moves are hellzone grenade and light grenade. Meaning it's not possible to fit both those moves in his kit, meaning there will most likely be a "Kami fused" version of Piccolo. Personally i would like to see a saiyan saga piccolo, a nail fused piccolo and a kami fused version. It wouldn't be too hard to make a moveset for each, and if there can be 11 Goku slots, giving Piccolo 3 wouldn't be too crazy.
17 (Z) is 100% going to be a different slot. for one their ultimate attacks are different and this trailer was not about 17 (no title card nothing) his ''official reveal'' still has to come at a later date. I wouldn't discount this yet

I just realised that at 5:25 when whis did that ki blast neutralising move, you can see what seems to be the ground fading away at the very bottom. Maybe this is how they will handle objects being too close to the player unlike in BT3 where it just zooms in and turns your character blue and translucent?
It be really cool that Future Gohan's Alternate costume is his undamaged version like the one without scars and 2 arms and if he gets injured/battle damaged he loses his Arm and gains the scar like how BT4 does it

I kinda hope that the story mode if there is one will have a bit of open world elements to it, obviously very unlikely it will but it will really neat if there was a small map to traverse to activate different story missions
The best part of the trailer for me was the return of the dodge mechanic, thank the Nerd Gods. Now please bring the remaining mechanics back such as: . Directional blocking mechanic - by pressing block and moving the analog stick up or down. . Back step mechanic - by pressing backwards + X at the right time. . Homerunning dash by pressing 2 times X while dashing, enabling us to dash much faster in a circle trajectory, appearing behind the opponent. Aestheticaly I only need them to add blood to the character damage and I'm good.
17 is not a skin. It's a separate character. Notice how he and 18 didn't have title cards. This ain't their trailer. Besides, DBS 17 has crazy barrier attacks that aren't on DBZ.
I hope whis tanking that blast is a global mechanic like Aura Guard in the budokai games. Looks so sick. Though we already have blast deflection, so I wonder how that will work differently.
I'm happy to see the confirmation of alt skins. My fingers are crossed for the Whis gi and armour for DBS Goku and Vegeta respectively, as well as the End of Z gi for Goku Z-End!

My biggest issue with the placements on the roster is that if fusions are in between their component parts like we’re expecting, then Videl being between Tien and Yamcha deconfirms Tiencha. 😢 (Note; I’m not actually that upset, even if I think he’d have been fun)
This isnt the character select screen this grid is for promotional use only the character select will probably be like the rest of the bt serie with player 1 on a top row and p2 on a lower row

I kinda hope that the story mode if there is one will have a bit of open world elements to it, obviously very unlikely it will but it will really neat if there was a small map to traverse to activate different story missions

The best part of the trailer for me was the return of the dodge mechanic, thank the Nerd Gods. Now please bring the remaining mechanics back such as:
. Directional blocking mechanic - by pressing block and moving the analog stick up or down.
. Back step mechanic - by pressing backwards + X at the right time.
. Homerunning dash by pressing 2 times X while dashing, enabling us to dash much faster in a circle trajectory, appearing behind the opponent.
Aestheticaly I only need them to add blood to the character damage and I'm good.
Homerunning dash is already confirmed. Check the Rivals trailer, Goku uses it while in Kaioken.
17 is not a skin. It's a separate character. Notice how he and 18 didn't have title cards. This ain't their trailer. Besides, DBS 17 has crazy barrier attacks that aren't on DBZ.

I hope whis tanking that blast is a global mechanic like Aura Guard in the budokai games. Looks so sick. Though we already have blast deflection, so I wonder how that will work differently.

I'm happy to see the confirmation of alt skins. My fingers are crossed for the Whis gi and armour for DBS Goku and Vegeta respectively, as well as the End of Z gi for Goku Z-End!

This game looks so charming in almost every way but actual animation and its kind of throwing me off. It's so gorgeous but then like. The Wolf Fang Fist looks jank as hell, its so weird.
Some part look a bit stiff but I personally believe it will be improved

Hey i just used your link to make my own roster predictions and there are some charaters missing that would most likely be in the roster like great ape kid gohan, full power jiren, and goku super sayain blue/kiaoken

My biggest issue with the placements on the roster is that if fusions are in between their component parts like we’re expecting, then Videl being between Tien and Yamcha deconfirms Tiencha. 😢

@@habderrahmane even so, the transformations are all next to their respective base forms, so therefore fusions, being essentially shared transformations, would presumably be right next to both components’ base forms.
@@GurrenPrime The forms will be part of a sub menu inside thier respective base form(just like bt3)
But i do think that fusions will have thier own slots outside of the people who fuse because 6 Gogeta and Vegito wont fit inside that sub menu(but you will still be able to fuse in a match)

i don't like the idea of skins, android 17 from Z and Super in xenoverse 2 are separate characters, if one of them is a skin it feels like they're going the lazy route to me. although to be honest videl having skins makes sense to me because idk how ponytail videl and short hair videl would play differently

No it's not. It's just like that because you're only seeing supers. They only showed trunks hitting Gohan for a split second and the camera angle was still the same
