Love listening to the old heads talk fishing
I tried out the ned rig TRD for the first time the other day in a tiny pond I have fished for years. I'm used to catching a lot of small bass on senkos and on my first cast of the day I landed a monster bass with the ned rig. I didnt have my scale but on the spot we estimated 8 pounds. After analyzing the pictures to get a length, she was about 25-26 inches!!! I'm a firm believer in the ned rig now!!
Dude that's awesome. And folks think the Ned Rig only catches small fish, haha!
I'll tell you what. I went from a fisherman who caught 2 bass a year in Arizona not knowing what to use other than hotdogs and worms to using the trd and the hula catching 3-4 in my urban pond. My fiancee liked fishing with me but now loves it! She's so spoiled because of the z-man and now expects to catch all the fish 😂 she beat my record in the pond we fish at with a 5.58 lb bass! Biggest thing I've ever seen! Wish I could post a picture! Thanks Z-Man
That's a true success story right there Josh! Just don't let her outfish you too bad, haha!
As a fishing guide, I have been using the Zman stuff since they introduced the TRD. Only my clients learned about the Zman magic! At this point however the cat is out of the bag and just about every Bass angler knows about it! Thank you Zman for your amazing Elaztech!
Appreciate it Boyd! Where are you guiding out of?
@@ZManFishingProducts I guide out of Tunkhannock, PA on the North Branch of the Susquehanna River!
I am 66 years old and kindah a hard head for the old ways but boy I sure do enjoy history lessons like this, thank you
Nothing wrong with that! It's hard headed guys like you that keep the rest of us in line! Thanks for watching Bob!
Such a great technique! I almost always carry a spinning rod with a TRD tied on. I catch more fish on that, then most other lures combined within a years time.
Nice to see Mr. Drew Reese on camera. Great show. Don
Thanks Don! He was a hoot to put in front of a camera!
i love zman stuff... its SO tough.
He really be sitting a PVC chair! What a legend.
Haha. No fancy stuff with this guy, just raw fishing talent!
Great, good story, thank you!
No problem. Thanks for checking it out Artur!
❤️ it!
My go to!
AWESOME!
(first)
I love bait docudrama histories. I've been wanting to create a killer bait that performs like Z-man's TRD or Hula... exciting stuff, thanks for producing this film.
Thanks for giving it a look Christopher! We had way too much fun shooting this film. Drew is an awesome dude for sure!
What’s the lesson here...quit being so hard headed! Lol. Great video!
Haha, basically!
4:58 is that a solid tube bait or is it hollow with the ned head going through it? Never thought that would hold on a hollow tube...
Great question. The majority of the bait (TRD TubeZ) is hollow like your standard tube bait except for the top 1/3rd of the bait which is solid for easier rigging.
@@ZManFishingProducts great idea guyz
I like the zman products
Zman baits rule!!
Can I use any scent on the trd worm ?
Oil-based scents work best. We use Pro Cure Super Gel for our scented baits.
You need to stop showing this stuff to everyone. Next thing you know everyone will be using them and I will just go back to being an average fisherman.
Haha, sorry about that Jeff!
