My English cover of 'Challenge the GAME', Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal's sixth ending (or Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal II's third ending). Originally sung by REDMAN.
So, Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal... Probably the most hated Yu-Gi-Oh! series out there. And I kinda get why, because let's be honest, it had an awful start. But when things picked up, oh boy did it redeem itself! Too bad most people already dropped the show by then. But what Zexal did right most of the time, was it's music! Some of my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! songs are Zexal OP/ED songs. And this one is by far my favorite!
So I recorded this before I did 99% from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, which you can check out on my channel, but I didn't feel like mixing it yet. Heck, I didn't even plan to upload it right now! But when I opened the project file by accident, I decided to mix it anyway... Why? Because I didn't feel like looking for the other project file and let that one load. Yes, I'm that lazy and impatient. I'll get the other cover done by next week ;)

It's funny though, when ZEXAL's anime picked up the pace...the card game was hit with one of the most hated formats in history.

This is an awesome version! If I may ask, could I use this for an opening of a duel series I'm cooking up? Basically it's only gonna involve duels of just for fun games and maybe a few tournaments (though not sure if it will work yet for prizes would be art, and I'd have to ask artists to probably donate their time). If it's okay, I'd use this as my opening for the series.

You'll see both Pokémon and Dragon Ball covers pretty soon! As for Naruto, there are some covers planned. No plans for opening 16 as of yet, but that might change in the future. I should sing what's on my ever-growing list first. Thanks for your continuing support man! I appreciate it!

The fourth is a bit hard to do because of Japanese backing vocals in the instrumental, but I will upload another Zexal opening cover pretty soon!

Also notice the broad tick gray frame on the cards, around the art, that detail was really proffesional and was there since the beggining... now al cards look sadly like actual childrenCardGameCards, the frame is so skinny - like half finished - and the title background isn't soft, it looks like the game is starting to end and that they don't care anymore.

I hate the english dub from anime but this is an exception good Job, i love it
What? Zexal started off great then the writers got lazier and lazier. Yuma's zero to hero thing was much more relatable than Atem's "#1 by the end of episode 1 because bs magic powers" thing. I liked the shingetsu twist, but then i got bored, and the order/chaos stuff was thematically incoherent. At least Zexal let its protagonist be the actual protagonist instead of constantly sidelining him for the deuteragonist like the first series did.
I disagree the later half is brilliant but nothing in the later half of any anime can redeem a start with seasons of horrible episodes, doesn't matter if it's naruto, one piece or zexal if the first many episode isn't at least descend it isn't worth sitting through no matter how golden later seasons are, the music was well done throughout zexal I give them that
