    Hello do you have any videos on how to tow a kayak? What kind of tow rope are there different kinds? Thanks for the video

      @@christinestraczek6388 Hi! I don't think I've made a specific video on that topic alone, but it's mentioned in my kayak safety gear video and you can see one version (a long tow) of the gear if you look up the chapter with that title. There are basically two main versions; a long tow which has you towing another kayak with a length of line between, attached to their front deck lines or handle (length varies) - important with an emergency release handle. The other version is a short tow which just is a prepared shorter line that you can use between the deck lines in front of you and your friend's kayak - then you'd be towing them right next to you. There's proper technique and you need the short tow rope properly prepared in advanced with carabiners - search for "kayak short tow" for info. There's also another version which is a throw rope, more suited for throwing quickly to someone in need in the water, typically attached to your PFD.
