We've all been waiting a LONG time for this. I knew that our Friend Dash could be relied on to bring those PCCs back to youtube's screens. Now let's hope that with all the technological advancements, these gems will stay on the pathways for a long time to come.
Thanx so much for sharing!
They’re back they’re really back
They are now considered as PCC IIIs, and SEPTA did a great job with the new upgrades!
Glad there back finally!
I am currently riding it! It's nice looking out the window to see some people do small cheers when see these Trolleys come down Girard again 😁
Welcome Home PCCs🎉
im riding one right now
I rode it this morning and tonight, so good to be back on!
Wow the streetscape improved significantly in that time!
Somehow, the dinosaurs have returned
Wow, the old 1947 PCC Trolley cars are back in operations on Route 15, this means we won't have to deal with buses anymore.
Well there's only 8 functional ones, so maybe still buses...
@@DashTransit Will they get more cars?
@@ExpressRailfanthey are working on the other cars as we speak
@@DashTransitAnd how can I take a ride on one of those trolley cars?
It seems that the short loop at Richmond and Cumberland Streets is now removed in the new construction.
It's way past due for me to ride the Girard Ave Trolley. I've been wanting to ride them when they first originally came out!
let's go
Boy did we suffer long enough with buses. Sadly did cost us 2 d40’s to finish their careers and retire. But at least we have the trollies back now for some years later until they are due for retirement.
I am glad to see PCC trolley has returned
Nice it's good to see them back on Girard avenue I rode ones couple of years ago when I visited Philadelphia
