I started playing jrpgs and older games 3 years ago and i couldn't be happier. This is crazy.
Same here, and indie games too, there are tons of hidden gems out there.
Thinking on this. The billboards in Cyberpunk would be a good place for a futurefied version of modern product advertising. They would have to be customized by the dev team, naturally, to fit in with the aesthetic.
Another reason to stick with an all physical/offline future.
Literally the ONLY place they could do it that people would 'kinda' be okay with (but not really): in the credits - unskippable credits, and works out cos half their games aren't start>end designed anyway.

The only way I can think of is in like a sports game having advertising in the arena in the way they do irl. That's the only way. Anything else would be intrusive and greedy. I mean, it's greedy regardless, but still.
