I decided to come out of my comfort zone and start showing the face. LOL. I have seen many sties destroyed by people over the years, I've just learned to keep stuff secret.

I have no doubt you will make many memorable discoveries every time you venture out to explore the Uintah Basin. Discoveries come in many forms and each is equally valuable.
@ Basinite - Wait...You think you aren't supposed to be there filming.. And You want to protect the place so you wontname it but you will say it is a known site, so all it would take is one commenter naming it and boom. ...and you still put this on the web for generations to see, and you hope no one will figure it out or name it and cause harm or take things? Do you not understand human nature? The more youtubers post places the more I see them get harmed. I get why you want to share them but Please take this video down if your own words and concerns mean anything to you. Be well.
I understand your logic, but have to disagree. Showing and sharing old sites/relics on the internet is a great way to create awareness and respect for these old sites. As people fall in love with the history and mystery of this type of stuff, they tend to naturally want to protect them. Education and awareness is the greatest prevention of vandalism. I would hate to live in a world where you and I were made ignorant of the existence of the pyramids, Chaco canyon, Mississippian mounds and other such sites, due to fear we might cause them harm and only a select few could ever know of them.
@@LowBudgetExploration Yes that happens as well and is a nice sentiment, yet, that does not keep other people from harming these places.Even when they mean well. The reality shows itself as I go to places I know and love and find more trash graffiti and damage than ever before, and within the last several years, as I have I seen more and more of channels like yours pop up, creating exposure. Often people try to protect things by making people aware of them and that is the problem all over the world with travel culture and the internet. It was bad before the internet and now...Terrible environmental damage over and over. You ever watch the movie called The Beach? It was about how tourists go to more and more remote areas and cause damage to these pristine places. After the film was made tourists flooded to the island it was filmed on and decimated it, because someone tried to make a film to save it. Get it? More harm than good comes from this kind of content. You make money off clicks and the earth suffers, cultural relics disappear and etc's. Sorry to pop that bubble but it is real.
