- Finally after years of planning we have officially got our own mine up and running on a brand new opal field!
For years we have heard story’s of amazing black opal finds and now here we are ready to chase the millions!
With the help of Rod and Les we got the claim set up and ready to be worked.
Jc did an amazing job belling out in some horribly cramped conditions.
The opal we found was definitely exciting and we cannot wait for a second trip back to find even more!

You Australian guys are so lucky to have rich minerals that close to the surface on your land.
I am new to watching Opal harvesting. So new this is the first time I have watched ANY video about it. I'm from the United States, please don't hold that against me. It's election year so until people here come back to normal I am watching so I can learn about Opal collections. So I have lots of questions. How deep do you have to go down to find them and what is the type of stone they are found in? What are they made up of?

An old Bush way to fix a flat tyre… cut a square flap in tyre so it will be closed on forward drive/rotation… stuff the tyre full of spinifex grass… that’ll get you to a place where you can change tyre.
You guys should consider using the waste to berm up around your shaft/claim so if and when it rains, you can keep the water at bay.
It's good to see young blokes with ambition. Keep it up, guys.

Water is great, but you need to replace the salts as well, get some electrolytes into you and drink some pickle juice as well as it helps with cramp

I really hope to see a explosion of smaller rough stuff 2-5ct. its rough being in the usa trying to get into cutting as a hobby / hustle takes 3 -6 weeks just to get the material.

He just posted a video of opal from a secret field that no one's allowed to talk about. And I know he works with these guys directly I wonder if Young guns have found a new opal bearing fiels
