Absolutely! Mexico City has so much to offer, it's really a world class city with everything you can ask for. Thanks so much ❤️
México is the birthplace of corn. Se have +70 native varieties from all colors. The blue corn is very appreciated and favorite for quesadillas and tacos.
We've learned that as well, thank you! We can't wait to try the other varieties as well

To american people follow this tip: Respect to the locals and aprende el idioma because you are in Mexico where they SPEAK spanish. Thank you guys for being friendly with mexican people!
100% agreed, we love the Mexican culture and the people ❤️ can't wait to go back and visit again
The hotel you stayed in is just a few blocks away from my mother’s home. I went to school in that area back in the 90’s. I’m glad that you enjoy this country, it’s not perfect but it can be an awesome place to live. Best wishes!
I'm so happy for you liked my city
🇲🇽✔️ is too big to go all it's impossible maybe would you need
2 full month 😄 well guys regards and good luck on your tour of the world.
Amazing city! I visited nearly a year ago in May 2023 for 9 days and had a blast! The people are incredibly friendly (a big contrast to the people in NYC which is where I live, no offense to my fellow New Yorkers but it's the truth). I interacted with far more people in Mexico City in those 9 days than I have in NYC in probably years lol, maybe I'm exagerrating but you get the point.
The food in Mexico City, OMG!! The most delicious food I've ever had on any vacation!!!
Overall, it's the most exciting city I've visited in my life so far, even more than the several European cities I've visited (including Barcelona) and that's saying a lot because Europe is amazing too!
I can't wait to visit CDMX again!
Welcome to México guys. Good to know that you tasted barbacoa with the blue tortilla and of course the fried quesadillas (fritas) as well. Come back soon, I suggest you to visit Mérida Yucatan, there you will have excellent mayan heritage food, besides Morelia, Michoacan too.
Thank you! We plan to visit Mexico again pretty soon, and we've heard before that Merida is definitely worth visiting. And the barbacoa was great, we are definitely getting it again next time we go to CDMX
Disfruten su estancia y vuelvanse mexicanos!
Muchas gracias ❤️
Hello. In Mexico exists different varieties of corns, white corn, yellow corn, pink corn, blue corn, especially the blue one is the second favorite ❤
Great video, Thanks for sharing guys! so glad you enjoyed Mexico City! which camera are you using for filming? thanks
Thanks for tuning in! We're using a Canon EOS M50 (with a bit of GoPro footage). It's pretty good to start out with! But maybe not so much for long term use
Thanks for replying and good luck with the channel, keep posting nice videos!@@ChangingLocations
❤ Viva México ❤
Barbacoa is a sheep meat, it's one of the tenderest and tastest meat you'll ever try in Mexico :D and Consomé it's the Broth, also delicious
Ah, interesting. They told us it was a mix of meats, but maybe something was lost in translation 😅 it was absolutely delicious though ❤️
Girl y should eat there in that spot over the street those food truck tacos are so good ur partner just went straight to basic tourist restaurants lol abrazos 💗💗💗
Quesadillas from the US are like quesadillas from the northern states of mexico.if you want cheese here, you have to ask for it and they might charge more 😅. The tortillas aren't black, they're blue and it comes from a blue type of corn, we also have purple red yellow etc type of corn
Thanks so much for explaining that! It makes a lot more sense why the quesadillas we had in CDMX were so different from what we know. And appreciate the clarification for blue vs black corn 🙌
@@ChangingLocationsonly in CDMX they say quesadillas don’t have queso, everywhere else in the country quesadillas have cheese.
There are 64 species of corn in Mexico, and there are more than a hundred ways to make tortillas, each state in the country makes tortillas in a different way, those tortillas that you eat are made of blue corn 13:52
Queremos regresar pronto 🙌
"only" about 10 million of us live in Mexico city proper, almost 14 million more commute into it everyday, it's crazy
Black tortillas of corn blue. So delicious
The black tortillas as you call them are blue corn tortillas.
Thanks for the correction, good to know for the future 🙂
Those dark tortillas are blue corn. Mexico has the most varieties of corn in the world. It is in fact, the birthplace of corn.
Man! Big fail to miss those tacos at 6:46. Tacos "El Chulo" is one of the best places in the city to eat carnitas and gorditas (btw they are the size of a vinyl record and weigh about 3 pounds), and instead, go to Mercado Roma (which not bad) for a "trendy" experience. Take it from a local who has traveled a lot. Maybe next time. Congrats on your channel. Keep it going.
We did eat a lot of street food tbh and Mercado Roma was a disappointment compared to what's sold on the street. Thankfully we made up for it by still getting some tacos later and we will keep it Tacos El Chulo in mind for our next time in CDMX ❤️🇲🇽
Bienvenidos a México 🙏🤞🇲🇽
Mexico City!!! The Capital of all Mexicans like it or not Mexico City is Daddy
The energy and food is incomparable 🙌
The NORTH IS BETTER
@@MOTA11000 💀 Roma Norte ?? Because Monterrey only has like one rich area that's all 💀
@BoxingSaveMe roma norte lol thats in mexico city i believe...
I was referring to the northern states it's different and rich in culture and some are very modern.
Bout to give you this GEM that no one talks about. DURANGO a state that has desert, mountains, and very green scenic sierra madre, and Snow yes it snows there. Dont forget bout the capital. Clean, colonial, modern, safe.
@@ChangingLocations Go to DURANGO
I think what you tasted was "barbacoa" wich is not barbeque lol might've been lamb cooked in its juice or steamed.
Yeah lol poor translation there 🤣 it was amazing either way though!
Guys, don't be afraid to try street food, it is delicious and cheap, and it is controlled by the health department, and if they find something the close it right away.
We definitely loved trying the street food, including later in this video! We never really saw any "red flags" for cleanliness tbh, but we were eating nothing but street food in Puerto Vallarta and wanted something a little different to start
Ok you guys changed your channel name or started a new one? Ok let’s go!
You needed some salsa in your quesadillas
You're right about that! It was too overwhelming at the time we were recording to remember lol
Heirloom blue corn tortilla! Non gmo
Hopefully you get the chance to explore more of Central México that has a lot to offer! Great video..! Best for your new adventures! Saludos✌🇲🇽❤
Thanks so much! We will check out other parts of Mexico for sure, we already can't wait to return and will be planning a trip there again soon.
@@ChangingLocations glad to hear! Hasta pronto and nice to follow along❤✌
Who can put me in the group that gives money for liking these videos
Not beef- not pork it's barbecue!!!😆----- I remember that commercial in the US they don't know it's not beacon!!!---- it IS BACON-NNNNN----🤣😂🤣😂
Minute 7:13 you really prefered to go a nice mercado instead of the delicious food she said!
hahaha ok, but never do that here at home. Welcome !
Lol yeah, we had so much street food at that point, but we ended up returning for more anyway 🤣 the city is amazing!
Great video but...maybe telling us what it reminds you of tell us your impressions of what makes Mexico City - Unique.
Scare of the color of the tortilas? LOL that is blue maiz FYI LOL
Yep, we learned that a few comments ago. We asked the grandpa that we bought it from and he confirmed that it was black. So we left thinking it was black until the comments corrected us. Maybe he didn't understand our poor spanish 🤷🏾♀️. Anyway, thanks for watching
so bad the guy didnt want to change plans like tasting street food . but glad u enjoy mexico.
We did the next day, staring at 9:25 and onwards we only ate street food 😊 and we totally enjoyed it 😄
MSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Visit Mumbai, it’s modern and beautiful 🤩 🇮🇳
We will one day! 🙂
I'm going in 1week. Is street food safe to eat. I don't want the revenge
I don't know if we got lucky, but we ate street food for 2 weeks in Mexico and didn't get sick. It's definitely worth a shot, but still be careful, lol
otro video de gringos haber veamos
No somos gringos carnal!
mexico city is horrible to living, overpopulation, smoke, transit chaos, more crime, earthquakes, please visit Chapala Lake (on Jalisco State), a lot of canadians and people from USA are living there after retired, beautiful and calm place, greetings from Guadalajara, Jalisco (Mexico)
11:43 THATS NOT CDMX
We sure hope you got more value than that in the first 11 mins and 42 seconds of the video! Hope you enjoyed the rest of it as well
