Great guide and excellent commentary as always! A few things I want to mentioned for the last boss if you are a holy paladin that I learned a week ago. It trivializes the healing required for the last boss. Make sure you spec into Resplendent Light specifically for this dungeon (Holy Light heals up to 5 targets within 12 yards for 8% of its healing). Make sure you spec into Hand of Divinity as well (Next two holy lights heal for 40% more and are instant casts). Chromie receives something like 100% increased healing. If you heal Chromie with holy lights, the 8% that you heal allies for from Resplendent Light is akin to casting Lay on Hands on all 5 party members. It is absolutely ridiculous. Stonecracker Barrage lines up perfectly with Hand of Divinity every 1.5 minutes. Que this up while Iridikron is casting Extinction Blast, then use your two instant holy lights on Chromie to heal her and the party through the damage. During the earth shield spikes phase, cast holy lights on Chromie while dodging spikes to heal her and your party, again through Respendent Light's 8% healing. Because of the way Resplendent Light interacts with Chromie and the party for this fight, I think it makes holy paladin the best spec to handle all the damage. One crucial thing is to communicate with your party before the fight starts that during the earth shield spike phase, please stay within 12 yards of Chromie. They can dodge spikes going left, right, left right, etc. Holy Light healing Chromie and the party works during the final push phase as well. Here it's even better because you receive a crazy amount of haste from Chromie's bubble.

I happened upon a streamer last week doing a +26 fortified on his hpala, and he explained what I mentioned in my comment to the chat. It works amazing. You just have to really communicate to the party to stay near Chromie during earthshield. I can't stress that enough lmao. All credit for the info goes to Razhag (the streamer I watched do this).
Hey man! Ok i tried it and that is absolute cheat code! I need some more practice using it to make sure i get all my CDs to line up and for sure need to remind the group not to run off to Narnia. Really appreciate the tip!
I'm glad it's working for you! Getting the group to actually stay 12 yards from Chromie is the biggest obstacle haha. From my experience there's always that one person that moves too far away. I've found that saving divine toll and daybreak for the spike phase helps in spot healing those not getting healed by resplendent light. And as far as timing goes, I've found that casting hand of divinity around 3-5 sec b4 extinction blast allows me to sit on hand of divinity's holy lights and heal the person targeted with extinction blast without much issue. The two charges of instant holy lights then get used to heal the stonecracker barrage damage. This method is definitely worth mastering for any holy pala out there. It's just too strong imo.
Great video. Did my first 14 (i know its not a huge key) and it was a lot to take in. After watching this, it all makes a bit more sense now and will help a tonne!

Yeah it can be a really rough place if you don't have the right group for it. Every player needs to bring their A game in both of the DOTI dungeons. Was there a particular area you had issues with?
@@ValiathGaming for myself it was the second boss, not used to dealing with the orbs as a healer. The rest went fairly decently aside from people nearly dying due to not using defensives with enervate or interrupting. I guess it's more a matter of learning when to use daybreak or divine toll at this point since LoD is basically worthless
@@applejuicecity yeah second boss is for sure rough and everyone need to use their defensives to help out. The more you run the place the better you will get at managing your CDs. I’m still learning better ways to do it but it’s hard when you run with pugs as it throws in a large dose of unpredictability in player skill and class knowledge as well.
Oh my god. This whole season ive been playing TD and I quite literally just did the last dungeon to push me to #1 Hpal on my small realm with it. Going to try out this FoL build because it looks way easier and like i wont fall behind on healing. TotT might be doable above 20 now lol
@ValiathGaming I added TD+boundless back but kept the main focus of this build. I dropped the veneration and something else I can't remember. TD is just such a massive buff to heals received that it's almost required in PUGs and I think I'm going to fiddle around with dropping aura mastery with prot pally in party as TD does the same thing on half the timer. I actually have something in mind for veneration but i need to do a little theory crafting. Seeing as it's tyrannical week now I'm not struggling with keeping up and can do so. Need to play more to test more. Appreciate the video!

Hello! So several things could be at play here, 1) you are using your cooldowns when they might not be needed and you find yourself in situations where you don’t have the tools available. The only way to fix this is to be more familiar with the damage profiles of the dungeon so you know what is needed when. 2) you can’t heal people why don’t know how to use their own buttons and ignore mechanics. This is hard to come to terms with but people are responsible for their own health bar just as much as you are. 3) make sure you utilize your full kit of abilities. You should always be prepared for damage and always have a plan. At any given time in the dungeon you should always have a way to “panic heal” and it’s something you should consciously be aware of throughout the run. This again comes down to preparedness and familiarly with the spells you have so you know what they do and how hard they hit. In the end my friend, it takes a bit of time to figure out how to play a healer in those oh shit moments. Practice is the only way you remove the “panic” aspect of it and instead turn it into prediction.
I also ended up doing a lot of studying on your rotation and priority and realized I barely used the flash of light and that helped immensely, would you consider making a short video about holy priority?
@@arrikmouser5054 I have been thinking about that and how something like that would look. Healing is such a fluid role to play and there is not set chain of events that we do, especially as holy Paladin considering how many buttons we have at any give point in time. I’ll think about it some more and see if there is a good way to create something like that

Right now, it really is not bad. There are multiple times during each dungeon where you have 10-15 seconds to sit and drink.

BTW you can make a last boss fight even easier then it is, just ask your group to stay near Chromie and heal them all in 1 cast of Holy Light

So I’m a newer holy paladin and I’m having trouble in panic moments, I feel like my cooldowns are too slow to react to heavy burst damage, and advice?

Some tank told me healing Chromie also heals the party, but players need to be around her for his to happen. Can anyone confirm if this is true?
I have not heard or seen this. Can’t find anywhere online either that states this. Next time I run it I will make sure to check it out.
