Although I'm a fan of modern architecture, the harsh white and almost clinical design of the resort is in stark contrast with its surroundings and the whole vibes of the Maldives. That said, it's lovely to revisit the islands through your videos 20-odd years after I went there.

Your presentation, both audio and visual, is excellent. The resort looks very high class and I am certain that anyone who vacations there will have a wonderful time. As a personal preference though, with regards to a tropical island resort, my fantasy vacation dream decidedly leans more toward Gilligan's Island as opposed to the sterile architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright. The square cornered, stark white buildings with their aluminum framed windows and doors pretty much deletes any possibility of any tropical island ambiance. If you are inside one of the units and do not look through any windows or glass doors, one could easily believe you were in a high end Manhattan apartment building. People who live in such a metropolitan environment probably did not fly all the way to the Maldives to end up where they started, minus the ocean of course. But that is just me. I wish the resort great success.

Love your video expert, I think this one is modest compare with Intercontinential, but still impressive. The floating breakfast at the end of video, it is really challenging how to enjoy the food in the pool :)

I spent a year in the Maldives (1963) long before the tourism boom. I'd be bored witless in this resort within 1 day. Need some local life and shopping!
Upon arrival to this place no doubt my late Dad would have said, "Right, where's the bar!" He did love water though, bless 'im. He was a Pisces after all! As for me, I was 'sold' as soon as I saw that 'luxury speedboat' lol.🥰
Another spectacular video. Love the soundtrack playing to the smooth takes. This is another beautiful atoll. The hotel looks very nice and villas look large specially the upper deck….but at same time I wonder how many people really use it…. One thing I felt a bit out of place was the red tile surrounding the pools. IMHO it detracts from the overall look and cheapens it a bit…. Beaches look great but not sure if snorkeling is as good a Joali Being or last weeks intercontinental resort. The island looks very small as they don’t issue bicycles to guest. Lastly I like having a resident DJ playing at sunset. The large pool sunset vibe looked and felt pretty sweet. Look forward to the next one! I commend you on doing such incredible videography and love the soundtrack! It’s just perfect and immersive. Cheers

I forgot to say that I really like those round sun blockers above the lounge chairs next to the beautiful pool! I have never seen those before. I have seen one of those umbrella blockers at my sisters vacation home before and they are great too. But after a did an online search of those round ones nothing showed. Do you know where that place got them? Thank you!

The way the land looks, is like maldives is sitting on top of a summit. Without the water, they're sitting on the edges of a giant cliff. The water is not stationary; it moves all over the world. It's moving right now, with a direction all its' own, known only to mother Earth. Mount Everest likely used to be a hill, while amazon jungle was a water basin. You know? Mother Earth is one giant organism, and you are a tiny extension of her biology.. she shapes and melds her own physiology.
Speaking of the Maldives being the flattest country on Earth, here's a fun fact: the highest natural peek in the entire country of Maldives is located in the most southern island. It's only 5 meters high! Where you ask? It's located at the now-closed Shangri-La's Villingili Resort & Spa. It is a 5 meter hill located at the resort's golf course :) I stayed at that Shangri-La back in 2015. Rumors say that it may reopen this August. I hope so. Great memories.
