Nice vid bro, crazy how everyone has their own version of FG! Have you ever tried out the quick clips for softbait? Real good for switching up colours / jig weight and still keep a good action on the lure.

Hey bro yea these are just demos of my ways i do things that work for me.
Im trialling some clips at the moment to see if i like them and can trust them. Im always worried they wont hold up to the real big dogs haha

Try the clips from Kaveman Tackle bro never had an issue, better than speed clips I rekon

Hi leithal, this is todd. I will be traveling down to auckland mid jan 2024 for about 2 weeks. Just watched your video and yes i like it much. I am wondering if you could advise what is the best option to do some surface casting or jigging for kingy when I am there. Your local knowladge mean much to me. thanks

Hey Todd.
I’m located in northland about 3 hours north of Auckland and havnt done any real fishing around Auckland itself. There are some very good charters that run out of Auckland that would be a good option for getting into some kingfish. Other than that or knowing someone there with a boat I can’t be much help sorry.

@@leithmain2284 I see Leith, would it be any good land base casting area that you may know. I'm free to drive around entire north island at wish during mybstay there. So distance is not an issue as long as spot is accessable by car.
