- Finally, the long anticipated Grand Finale of X Factor India starts. The Final 3 performers, Geet Sagar, Sajda Sisters and Seema Jha are prepared to hit the stage for the last time. Geet Sagar sings 'Mann Ka Radio' and 'Bhaag D K Bose', Seema Jha enters with her entertaining act on 'Hum To Aise Hain Bhaiya' and 'Badal Pe Paon Hain'. Sajda Sisters present two songs poles apart, 'Sasural Genda Phool' and 'Darling'. Sanjay Leela Bhansali welcomes Deewana Group who sings yet another soulful Sufi song, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's 'Afreen'. Then Sanjay once again introduces the cute all diva group, Last Minute in his poetic style. They touch everyone with their angelic performance on 'Tu Muskura'. Anushka Manchanda performs a rock version of 'Dum Maro Dum' and then Piyush Kapoor jumps in with hindi version of 'Jailhouse Rock' proceeded by 'Aaja Aaja Main Hoon Pyar Tera'. They completely rock the stage with their performance. Then the innovative Nirmitee once again hits the floors with their ground-breaking performance on 'Senorita'. Shreya Ghoshal shows the other side of her personality by singing and dancing on 'Bhor Bhaye Panghat Pe', 'Husn Ke Laakhon Rang' & 'Honth Raseele'. Judge Guru Sonu Nigam enters the stage with a funny performance on 'Ek Chatur Naar'. Seema Jha also joins him on the following songs 'Hum The Woh Thi' and 'Paanch Rupaiya Baara Aana'. After watching a visual compilation of some memorable moments Seema Jha sings 'Koi Lauta De Mere' and is followed by her mentor Sonu Nigam with 'Aa Chal Ke Tujhe'. Ali Zafar gives a surprise visit to the stage of X Factor with a singing performance on 'Panghat Pe Naache Madhubala', and Imran Khan follows him with an entry on 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'. They sit as the chief guests of the evening. Katrina Kaif too reaches the sets of X Factor India. She makes a dramatic entry on her latest hit 'Dhunki'. She has Ali Zafar and Aditya Narayan fighting over her. Then after some comedy on stage Ali Zafar, Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif promote their upcoming film 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'. Sajda Sisters once again enter the stage with their serene performance on 'Bahara'. Geet Sagar gives a bouncy performance on 'Main Tera Dhadkan Teri'. Then Seema Jha steals the show with her performance on 'Sheila Ki Jawani'. Finally the moment arrives as Katrina Kaif takes out the original envelop carrying the result. She takes the name of Geet Sagar and he becomes the first ever winner of X Factor India. He wins the trophy, the cash prize of Rs.50,00,000 and a Tata Manza car. He also earns the chance to sing for Karan Johar's Dharma Production and a global recording contract from Sony. So, the magical journey of the first season of India's biggest singing reality show, X Factor, comes to an end.
X FACTOR INDIA -- is the big daddy of all music shows in scale and size. With versions in 24 countries and a unique format that gives contestants the chance to showcase their talent regardless of the age.
A singing show with a unique format that gives everyone a chance to showcase their talent. Open to all citizens of India over the age of 16, the auditions will be divided into 3 categories, viz. 16-25 years, 25 & above and individual groups. Participants that make through the final selection will then be divided into three groups with each group headed by a mentor. Of this lot, the top 12 will be selected to participate in the Galas and prove their mettle to the entire nation
Hosted by the multi-talented Aditya Narayan & judged by the stalwarts of the Indian Film Industry Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal & Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the show premiered on 29th May 2011 on Sony Entertainment Television.
Sonu Nigam: He is a highly successful actor, singer and anchor. Having spun numbers like Mera Rang De Basanti Chola, Dil Dooba and Kal Ho Na Ho among numerous others, this versatile performer has won many accolades and is now all set to mesmerize the nation with his role as a judge in X FACTOR INDIA .
Sanjay Leela Bhansali: Needless to say, one of India's greatest film makers having moved hearts right from his first film, Khamoshi -- The Musical to Hum Dil Chuke Sanam to Guzaarish, this producer, writer, director and recently turned musician has received several accolades for his creativity abilities. As one of the judges for X FACTOR INDIA' Sanjay has vowed to pick only the best.
Shreya Ghoshal: For Shreya life has come full circle, from a being a contestant on a reality show to being the judge on the biggest music reality show on Indian television. This gifted singer's first film "Devdas" not only saw her getting a Filmfare 'RD. Burman Award for New Music Talent' but also the 'best female playback singer' award. After lending her voice in more than 180 films and receiving four National Film Awards, she is all set to win hearts in her new avatar as a judge in X FACTOR INDIA.

Sonu does this rarely.....but i love it when he does whn he is really attached to sm1 (like seema/Sahiti) he becomes protective...even gets scared..n supports fully from dilse..silently...he is a role model for a mentor

extremely shocked...i haven't even thought about this guy as winner.....when last twelve had been selected, i kept him among the first five elimination....seema, nirmeeti, dewaana, saajda, piyush, amit they all were far better than him....even respected kartar singh was also good considering his age....would be satisfied, if seema, nirmeeti or dewaana group (any of these three) would be selected as winner.....

Guys i don't know why can't u get this simple logic. In the final he is won only because sony has promised an album with the winner and karan johar also promised a similar offer as singer in upcoming movie and both of them wanted male singer. Let us not blame Geet Sagar for this. He was a contestant and everybody has a preconceived desire to win... he had too... but if watched the finale, he doesnt seem too happy being the winner! Bcoz he knows deep inside there were better singers than himself on the stage.... and at some point.. he had even himself hinted that.. so no disrespect for him...but for the insanely chutiya jantas who couldnt do just to the other contestants... This sud never happen again.... it ruins someones long built Dreams...

I hope X Factor and Sony realizes that Indians're not morons. There is no way Geet Sagar would have won this competition. This is a competition show not a suspence movie. There's been many shocking emilination from the beggining in this show, but didn't expect it to go this far. Seema should've won, it was no brainer. I only watch Sa re ga ma pa and now I started watching X Factor thiking this was a drama & politics freeshow and followed it throught, but I guess was wrong. BIG Disappointment!!
