i love this song, it reminds me of my boy bsf who has cancer and is in the hospital, we used to go to secret spots in my church to just talk before church actually started, because our parents worked at the church so it made it where we went to church early for them to practice music and stuff, so we would walk around the church and go to hiding spots and just sit there and talk until we heard people talking and looking for us we would go somewhere else, i miss him a lot.

y'know I used to think the saying "you don't know what you have till it's gone" was always a bit weird, but now I'm older and I realize just how true those words were. Last year on Valentine's Day I asked a girl that I've had a crush on for almost 6 years at that point, she rejected me and because of it I had gotten teased by what seemed like everyone in my high school for the rest of the year. I hadn't given up though and asked her again in September only to be rejected again, after that we had basically stopped talking to each other. In the 6 years I had known her we developed a strong friendship and she was always there for me when I needed it, now that we never talk anymore I feel a lot more lonely. What adds an extra slap in the face is that her and my best friend are still really good friends while I'm stuck watching from the side because my anxiety won't let me go and talk to her. My best friend isn't really the supporting type so he hasn't been the most helpful at reviving my friendship with her. I don't want to accept that our friendship is over because I'm scared to move on and lose one of my best friends. I just don't know what to do anymore

I heard this when my first child was born. This song reminds me that joy is present, even when your life seems to be falling apart. It's greater to have someone to love, because it means you were loved first.

I’ve struggled with suicidal thoughts for years now (I’ve never tried but have been close many times) but these types of songs somehow make it better and worse at the same time. I feel lost most of the time and have no idea where my life will end up. But reading some of y’all’s comments gives me the strength to keep going. I know that suicide is just taking my problems and putting them on people that care about me. It’s a constant dilemma in my head and I tell myself that over and over when I’m in a really bad spot mentally. For everyone that has shared their story of losing someone they love to suicide just know that there are millions of people that hear your stories and it helps even as much as it hurts you to remember them.

y'know I used to think the saying "you don't know what you have till it's gone" was always a bit weird, but now I'm older and I realize just how true those words were. Last year on Valentine's Day I asked a girl that I've had a crush on for almost 6 years at that point, she rejected me and because of it I had gotten teased by what seemed like everyone in my high school for the rest of the year. I hadn't given up though and asked her again in September only to be rejected again, after that we had basically stopped talking to each other. In the 6 years I had known her we developed a strong friendship and she was always there for me when I needed it, now that we never talk anymore I feel a lot more lonely. What adds an extra slap in the face is that her and my best friend are still really good friends while I'm stuck watching from the side because my anxiety won't let me go and talk to her. My best friend isn't really the supporting type so he hasn't been the most helpful at reviving my friendship with her. I don't want to accept that our friendship is over because I'm scared to move on and lose one of my best friends. I just don't know what to do anymore

I’ve struggled with suicidal thoughts for years now (I’ve never tried but have been close many times) but these types of songs somehow make it better and worse at the same time. I feel lost most of the time and have no idea where my life will end up. But reading some of y’all’s comments gives me the strength to keep going. I know that suicide is just taking my problems and putting them on people that care about me. It’s a constant dilemma in my head and I tell myself that over and over when I’m in a really bad spot mentally. For everyone that has shared their story of losing someone they love to suicide just know that there are millions of people that hear your stories and it helps even as much as it hurts you to remember them.

I used to think of a specific boy and smile, no matter what my mood was.
In 2 minutes, my mother mentioned something about me that I hate and it caused me to erase every single memory I have of that boy and now I cry when I think of him. IN 2 FUCKING MINUTES. why did she have to say it. She reminded me of a part of me that keeps me from making and keeping friends. I just calmed down after holding myself down to keep myself from punching the shit out of myself... Thanks for making me erase what was once what made me happy..mother...
