Exactly. For me this is already the end. I just wished Ruyi did not accept being an Empress, even if SHE IS THE REIGNING EMPRESS STILL OTHER PEOPLE LOOKED DOWN AT HER, DISRESPECT HER, HUMILIATE HER, BULLY HER, AND DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE HER BEING THE EMPRESS NOT JUST A STEP EMPRESS, IT ALWAYS HURT ME WHEN SOME CONCUBINE CALLED HER AS 2ND/STEP EMPRESS ONLY WHEN IN LEGAL TERMS SHE IS THE EMPRESS OF QING DYNASTY NOT AS REPLACEMENT, SHE IS LEGALLY INSTALLED WITH DOCUMENTS AND PROOF, WHAT SADDEN ME MOST WAS SHE WAS NOT GIVEN HER POSTHUMOUS NAME ENTITLED SOLELY FOR HER, AND I REALLY REALLY HATE QIANLONG FOR RUINING RUYI BECAUSE OF HIS STUPIDITY BEING IDIOT SELFISHNESS AND BRATTY KIND OF PERSOM. IF ONLY RUYI DID NOT APPEAR IN SELECTION OF BRIDE, SHE MIGHT BE PEACEFULLY LIVING WITH HER GRANDCHILDREN. THIS EPISODE REALLY LEFT A BITTER TASTE ON MY MOUTH. THIS BROKE MY HEART.

Con ésta Majestuosa y Esplendorosa ceremonia, QianLong le demostró a los Súbditos y al mundo entero, el gran amor que tenía por Ruyi.
    Bella la música para Ruyi.

Me encantó ésta música.

People who understand Chinese culture. Why empresses didn't had honorary name during their tenure as empress? Concubines and empresses dowager had one, not just their title or posthumous name after their death. For example: honorary name of Ruyi as concubine was "Xian" and Hongli's mother as empress dowager was "Chongqing."

Well, there was only supposed to be one emperor and or empress at a time, so referring to them by a singular emperor/empress made sense. For example, there could be up to four consorts (Fei) and 6 Imperial Concubines (Pin) at any given time so honorary titles were useful. It's also because the position of empress was meant to the encompassing of all virtues given to a woman: kind, maternal, wise, filial, gentle etc so the position was so revered it didn't really need other honorary or virtuous titles to go with.

They only get names after they died to distinguish between the different empresses an emperor has. In this case, the deceased empress is called Xiaoxianchun but the current one was just "The Empress". But if you're wondering, the current empress still has the other treasures from her other promotions so technically she still had her other titles from when she was a consort.

i don't think in real history Ruyi had a posthumous name. (as an empress)

@@karpathian_slaw7928 Oh, make sense. But if imperial Chinese still exist nowadays and that rule still applied, maybe this tradition become ironic. You know, non-Chinese always used ruler's name either monarch or president. If emperor and empress don't have regnal/honorary name during their lifetime, non-Chinese maybe referred them with their birth name. Like happened in Japan (outsider adressed current emperor as Emperor Naruhito and previous emperor as Emperor Akihito) and that crossed one of the biggest taboo. The last Chinese Emperor and Empress consort also adressed by Westerner as Puyi and Wanrong, their birth name.
